Anchor Allie’s Fayetteville

Anchor Allie’s is a fun spot for a casual diner-style meal. Service was friendly and the food came out promptly. There are good beer offerings. The food itself was good. The chili and monte cristo sandwich were especially good. The tacos were a bit hard to eat as the tortillas were cut in half. We’d like to see better tortillas in the future, but the ‘fillings’ themselves were tasty. Overall, we look forward to visiting again.

Taylor!!!! My wife and I Googled for the best Espresso Martinis near us were and Allies came up. They did not disappoint!!! This is our new spot since we needed a local place with good food and drinks. Taylor was the best bartender and waitress and had amazing recommendations on dinner and she hit the mark!! Sooooo good!! We will go check them out on the brunch menu next!!

The atmosphere and service were 5 stars. The food didn’t lack flavor, just a bit dry for French toast. I would soak it a bit longer in the egg mixture if I was doing it. The chicken drums were my favorite, the batter was amazing and they were cooked very well. It was a bit pricey on the food but I understand inflation. The French toast latte was made very well. The home fries had very good flavor, just not sure about the grease it was cooked in. Left a very waxy taste in your mouth after. I do recommend trying this place out, the flavor is spot on, just minor issues and that could be a me thing!

It’s always a wonderful time here. The food is delicious, with a menu that features seasonal and special events items that are unique and amazing. Service is friendly and fun, with a great vibes and an uplifting atmosphere. Live music on Fridays in the Siren’s Tapas and Cocktail Lounge is perfect for groups and date nights, and karaoke on Tuesdays is just pure all-out fun. Parking is pretty easy and the restaurant is always clean. The large patio is perfect for dining and drinking outdoors. Never had a bad meal or cocktail here. The espresso martini’s are fantastic, and there is always a new drink in the menu to keep things fresh. We absolutely love it here. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was good. My family and myself enjoyed our meals. The deviled eggs were delicious, I highly recommend! We will be back to this cute establishment.

First visit to this wonderful military themed restaurant and wow were we impressed! Stop in for some for an amazing breakfast or brunch fare or drop by for lunch or dinner. We had dinner and tried some of the recommended favorites! The chefs are amazing and take pride in not only the quality of food but the beautiful plating and presentation. We had a variety of delicious appetizers and Expresso martinis. Everything was above expectations! Come by and enjoy the outdoor patio or sneak back to the speak easy for a great cocktail! The music is light and inviting and the dining room is spotless. The staff couldn’t be any kinder! We wish this place much success and will visit again to try many other enticing entrees! They also cater!

Was in Fayetteville working and decided to stop by for a late lunch/early dinner. I ordered the Ranger fries. I forgot to take a picture of them. They were absolutely amazing. I also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. I forgot the name of it and it came with onion rings. Nice size piece of chicken breast that was seasoned well. And the onion rings had a great crispiness to them. I will definitely be back the next time. I’m in Fayetteville. Met the Chef who also told me they have a lounge in the back.

Went into anchor allie's tonight and I had the most wonderful experience from the food to the service Alexa my server was very friendly and kept me and my entire group laughing the whole time she was very professional the food was amazing and everything came out quick and exactly how we ordered it ! would come here again and the establishment was very clean !

My best friend and I have been talking about eating here for quite some time - and today, we finally made it happen! We were greeted immediately upon walking in, and sat at a clean booth. The atmosphere is very inviting, and we love the patriotic theme . Our server was incredibly sweet, and checked on us periodically. The food and beverage menu is by far the most extensive of any restaurant I've ever been to. Although the mimosa I ordered and the espresso martini my friend ordered was so good, I'm kicking myself for not choosing one of the more adventurous drinks on the menu!! As for the food - my friend ordered the Biscuits & Gravy, and I ordered the Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were very delicious, and definitely something I would order again. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and look forward to coming back soon!

The vibe is really cool in here. It's sort of a mix of diner with dive bar. Everything is white and there are windows so it doesn't feel like walking into a dark cave like some bars can. The service was friendly and fast. I really liked the shrimp and grits and would go back just for that. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the onion rings only came with 5 or 6 rings and it was $5.00 so I felt like they need to up their game on that or just take it off the menu. Other than that I really like this place and would recommend for both food and drinks.

So the food was amazing and the service was really good as well. The inside of the place looks AMAZING. The scene and devour is great. I loved eating here. The shrimp and Grits were amazing. So the one star deduction is for one simple thing. The website says breakfast all day which isn't true. They have a small part of the brunch menu that's all day but the breakfast is not. I went to get eggs Benedict but it was too late in the day. I would've went earlier had the website not said that. But still great food

Went here twice. First time was more for a breakfast meal. I ordered an omelette, potatos and a mimosa. Omelettes are crepe style which is fine but definitely smaller than you might think. It tasted good with the ingredients I asked for. The potatos were nothing to write home about, very bland and kind of mushy. The mimosa arrived in a large glass but half empty but after finishing it it was worth it. Second time stopped by for lunch. Not a good idea in retrospect. I ordered the blackened shrimp and grits . It took a rather long time for the meal to arrive and when it did it just was not appealing at all. There was this red liquid in the bowl, the shrimp did not look blackened but it did look flavorful. I was wrong the entire thing was so bland I threw some salt on it hoping that it would help but it did not. There were also some sort of seed, mustard perhaps, sprinkled on it that really was off-putting when trying to eat. The shrimp also did not taste good at all. My friend got the salmon bagel and only ate one bite . Said the bagel tasted really old and the rest just seemed off . The waitress was very nice and accommodating but we won't be back.

Stubbled across this place on Yelp. We decided to give it a try. Excellent service. Excellent food. A little drive from our side of town but totally worth the drive.

Seated and greeted by the waitress quickly. Started with the French toast latte and the dirty chai (asked for extra sweet). Both were good but the extra sweet dirty chai was better. Order the French toast with eggs and turkey sausage, very good. I could have done without the chocolate drizzle. Also got the shrimp and grits, sauce was great. Overall good experience. This is the type of diner Fayetteville needed.

Checking out this new place in the 'ville. Great navy sounding stuff on the menu. Really nice place inside. Super friendly staff. Grabbed some of the deviled eggs to share. Pretty tasty. Good flavors. I settled on the Devil Dog's Chicken & Grits. Spicy hot maple fried chicken over cheesy grits, topped with 2 eggs, and green onions. Nice sweet hot flavors. Crispy chicken. Tasty grits. Deb had the 1MC monte cristo. Big sandwich. Good flavors here as well. Overall the food was good but nothing really knocked our socks off. Courtney our server was awesome. Look forward to going back and trying lunch stuff.

While on a recent day trip, we stumbled upon a familiar name that instantly brought back fond memories--Anchor Allie's. As former regulars of the Shore Drive location in Norfolk, VA, we were both surprised and intrigued to see the name reappear all the way in Fayetteville, NC. At first, we assumed someone had simply borrowed the name and theme. But to our surprise and delight, we discovered that Allie herself has relocated and brought her beloved restaurant with her. While it was a little sad to learn she'd left the Hampton Roads area, it was incredibly heartwarming to see that she's kept her dream alive--and just as flavorful as ever. Even more inspiring, Anchor Allie's is a proud veteran-owned business, and that spirit of service and dedication truly shines through in the hospitality and attention to detail. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like coming home. From start to finish, it was a solid 10 out of 10, and we'll definitely be returning. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, Anchor Allie's is well worth the stop.

My second time here. Food was good the first time but this time I received burnt corned beef hash that should have never made the plate Waitress said we make it crispy here...that was burnt. The redo was good and what it should have been in the first place. The wife enjoyed her breakfast it was proper and looked good. Will probably return

This was our first time here and will not be our last! Service and food were great. We will definitely be back for breakfast and dinner! It's a great place to support small business and not deal with chains, yet get quality food and service.

This was such a warm, welcoming experience. Met the owner and our server couldn't have been better. It has sort of a sports bar look but very much a military feel. Will be well received in Fayettetville. We had onion rings for an appetizer. Followed by burgers, Reuben, chicken fingers and the shrimp and grits. There were 5 of us. The only thing we can see is there isn't alot of selection in the beer. Mostly local craft beer on tap and rather pricey. Brunch menu looks good and creative. Will be back.

Great business concept for the community. Love supporting veteran owned businesses. Food was delicious and the ladies provided wonderful service and extremely nice. I will return and look forward to trying new items.

Great spot on Bragg Blvd with a military appreciated theme. Food has been good, quick and delicious. Service is great, especially for a newly opened space. Everything seemed to operate smoothly. I would highly recommend

Good coffee. Simple breakfast. Good drinks. I spent like four hours here...half the time at the bar and half at a table. I was never made to feel like I needed to leave. Wasn't rushed at all. One of the servers had some trouble with our order but I think she was new. Overall, decent experience. Warning: servers are dressed like navy pinup girls.

I had to hop on the bandwagon after reading all the great reviews on Anchor Allie's Fayetteville NC so I went to to Sunday brunch with some friends to see what's it's all about! The menu is IMPRESSIVE, it was challenging to select just one item to try because everything sounded so delicious! For the drinkers, they have an extensive cocktail menu and an entire menu of just espresso martinis! (Pro tip: they are $5 off on Thursdays) For the non-drinkers they have tons of beverage options from coffee to milkshakes! All 4 of the people at our table loved their food. Items ordered were: Monte Cristo sandwich, Top Gun sandwich, Shrimp and Grits, and Crispy Hot Honey Chicken and Grits. All meals were big portion sizes, cooked perfect, seasoned well and arrived in a timely manner. Everyone couldn't rave enough about their meal! The staff was very friendly, I think the restaurant is new and they are still making some adjustments and learning the menu but overall the service was good. A few minor errors but nothing that wasn't handled well. The uniforms are cute but not practical for working a job that entails a lot of lifting/bending as I got a whole show from a waitress that dropped something. During our visit I heard through the grapevine there are plans to expand into a second dining room and add outdoor seating! I'll definitely be returning regularly to try out more menu items and support because it's exciting to see some new unique places come to Fayetteville!

We stopped in for breakfast after coming out for a show. Great food, great service, and cool atmosphere! I can't speak for lunch/dinner but breakfast was on point!

Pros: The food is great and so is the service. Cons: The coffee is very weak. You should have good coffee at a breakfast and brunch spot. Also, they need to do something about the flies at the window tables.

Finally! A restaurant in Fayetteville that warrants being considered as a favorite! Visited on a Sunday around 12:30. The service was superior - attentive without overdoing it. The food - I had eggs benedict and it was ah-mazing! The hollandaise sauce was perfect. Can't recall dosh hubs had now, but he said the chicken was great.

I really want to be positive about this place, I do, i was really looking forward to it opening and just haven't enjoyed any visit. So it's called a brunch and taphouse, but the beer selection is dismal. Let's talk about the service. Poor. Every visit. And hear it from others. We can be the only customers in the restaurant and still wait half an hour for a drink. The servers we've had have been quite unprofessional and they just forget you're there while they socialize around the bar. Just recently, only patrons there and they forgot our appetizer. There were zero other customers. Ok, so to wrap up on a positive note, the food is good. I have had several menu items and it is quite good. The burgers are great, very good french fries, etc. If the service can ever meet the food quality, it will be perfect.

After hearing from word of mouth, we had to check it out. We went for breakfast. Love how open and bright the interior is. Looks like they will be expanding the outdoor area which would be nice. Gave me some Austin vibes. I ordered the Frogman Burrito. We also had some espresso. Was better than I anticipated, and would definitely order it again. We will be back one evening. Their espresso martini menu was impressive. Service was perfect. Right on time and very polite. We need this spot!

This was our first visit to Anchor Allie's and it was excellent all around. First, the decor and vibe are cute without being too over the top or corny. It's also very clean. Our server was friendly, quick with our coffee, and got everything perfect. Finally, the food was really top notch. In this economy, with inflation and shrinkflation running rampant it was nice to order a meal for $15 & feel like we got our money's worth in both size, quality, and taste. I had the Devil Dog's Chicken & Grits. Something I've noticed at far too many places is woody chicken. It's a thing, look it up. This chicken was a nice size, delicious, tender, and had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The grits were the perfect temp and consistency, nothing left under a warming light here. My husband had the Charlie Mike's breakfast tacos with homefries. His only complaint was that there was no option to add chorizo to his tacos, but they were otherwise light (not greasy), filling, and the fresh pico was super tasty. His homefries were also crispy without being covered in grease or overdone. Overall, we both gave it 5 stars and will be back to try a dinner selection.

The food was good. My issue was the loud and raunchy women at the bar with the white hair bearded guy. They were talking loudly about Gwen Stefani's private parts and singing a stupid song about Oklahoma and horses which my wife was offended by ( she is from Oklahoma). They were also saying derogatory things about religion and made our dining experience terrible. They appeared to be off duty employees which made it worse. Pure distasteful behavior. It was so irritating I couldn't enjoy my food. I will never eat here again.

Came two weeks ago... very clean great atmosphere and our server Alexis was amazing! Had to come back today after church and food was still delicious and our server Gracie was wonderful! Definitely an option for weekend brunch! Oh lol and I had the Bangor Bowl and a side pancake! Price was also reasonable!

Tickled that this place is right down the road from home. Plus is that it's right near Mazarick Park trail so you can park on the other end - walk to this gem and walk back. Brunch and a walk balances out the calories, right? Now for the restaurant. I have the agree with some of the other reviews, while the food isn't "knock your socks off" (minus one star but will update when I come back) - the service is over the top FABULOUS. Mylasia was a doll. She also had someone else assist her, but we didn't catch her name Both ladies were just lovely. The fact that you can bring your pups (puppy bowls!!) is delightful and with the cooler weather to come, perfect to grab a hot specialty beverage and spend some outside time with your pooch. The service and assorted menu item will definitely have me coming back to try other things. Keep up the great work, ladies!

I anxiously awaited the opening of Anchor Allies. I love that it's a fellow Navy vet opening something in this Army town. I met her after our meal, and she is so very nice. We came in a little after 11 in the morning. I had read online that they have breakfast all day. This is not the case on weekdays, and we were there during lunch time. No worries, I wanted to try many things on the menu anyway. I will say that we were there literally two days after they opened, so there are kinks to be worked out and there were some things not available yet. We started with a margarita for me and a latte for Husband. Both were done well and with nice flavor. Next, we moved on to the soft pretzel. This is HUGE! It was warm and soft with the crusty outside, we enjoyed it. There was cheese sauce and mustard served with it. For entrees we had the grilled mahi sandwich for me and a build your own burger (bacon, cheese, fried egg) for him, both with a side of fries. My sandwich was decent enough, if not a little unremarkable. His burger was ordered medium well and came to the table rarer than he would like. Our server said it was no problem to remake it. When she came back, she said that the burger itself had a mix in it that included paprika and that was causing the burger to appear red. She apologized and said that they cooked his burger a bit longer. He said it was dry and also without much flavor. The service was outstanding, I have heard that the restaurant itself underwent a large renovation, it is open and bright and pretty. They had great music playing in the background, loud enough to start my husband's sweet dance moves, but not so loud that you cant talk over it. There are many nice personal touches that would make any sailor smile. I really look forward to the brunch offerings! They are open every day from morning to night, so they will get to see all sorts of crowds. Welcome to Fayetteville Allie!!

Wow! Great food, attentive service, yummy food, fun decor. Sunshine was our server but all the staff were helpful as well. Great service. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We are looking forward to having lunch next time.

New American fav. The Grilled Mac n Cheese was decadent and great. But would be better with more cheddar. The BlackHawk. Burger was also decadent. Just don't get their burgers well done as mine was a lol tough. Will definitely be back as the tater tots were amazing as well as the onion rings. And the milkshake was to die for! All in all the only downside was the price.

Driving from Florida to Maryland we decided to stop at this brand new restaurant here in Fayetteville and wow what surprise. The staff greeted us with a nice welcome and our waitress Mylasia was super friendly. From the outside which looked a little dated but wow when you stepped inside it was stunning. Started out with a designer expresso with a giant marshmallow on top and a chocolate rimmed glass. I had an excellent bourbon old fashioned. Wife had two huge shrimp tacos with pineapple and salsa which were bursting out of the tortillas with flavor and size. I had a fried chicken sandwich on a soft bun with a nice slaw and pickles. Excellent. Fries were hot and delicious but could have been a little bigger portion as my only suggestion. All said though if we are ever going thru this town again we'll be back. .

This place is great! They have great breakfast food & lunch/dinner food. Allie's French toast is really good. I also really like their fish tacos. My husband is a big fan of their huge homemade pretzel with cheese sauce. On Tuesdays they have specials on tacos & margaritas. Everything I've eaten here has been good. We've also had really great service. They have a neat lounge/bar area open on weekend night, I think. I've looked at it, but we haven't been yet. I highly recommend this place!

First off, interior is super clean and cute, wait staff attentive and sweet, and food VERY GOOD. All of the items my family and I got were very good. The only thing they could do better is making the hot chicken HOT, but hot sauce helps. Taylor has been a great waitress both times.

The ambiance is nice and when the Luke warm food gets to you it's ok. It took 20 minutes to get drinks and another 40 minutes to get our food. The specialty coffees were luke warm when they arrived. The food was good, but it was luke warm and did not come out together . They tried they did, and they were extremely nice. But not real organized and nothing was hot. Maybe I will try again in a few months

Been hearing about this place for the past couple of months, and we finally got the chance to try it out. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and blown away with how beautifully it was decorated, clean with a modern twist. Courtney took care of us and gave us everything that we needed to know especially for our first time, she was so sweet and with great hospitality. We started off with the Brussels sprouts with a hint of mango habanero drizzle (chef's kiss). I got the shrimp tacos with a side of onion rings and my husband got the Ruben sandwich with fries.

Food is great! Specialty coffees and morning drinks always add to the fun. It's a wake up and enjoy your breakfast kinda day. We have been 5+ times. The menu has so many options even my husband continues to try different options. Our server has been different each time. All are very pleasant- definite Culture: military, relaxed, inviting, friendly. We will be back

My wife and I visited for breakfast. The food was served in a timely manner. I had no complaints about my food. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and eggs. My wife ordered the giant cinnamon roll. Unfortunately, the roll was not freshly made and instead of a caramel frosting with pecans, it had a white frosting with caramel drizzled over it. She also said that the coffee was rather strong. However, I happen to enjoy a strong cup of coffee. The restrestaurant itself was very clean and the server was friendly and helpful. Despite it having a Naval theme though, the ambience was mostly Army, and could use some more Naval Decor to go with their menu. We will be going back.

Came in on a Monday around 12:30. Food tasted amazing!! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the Reuben. Very good and fast service. Will recommend to all our friends and of course we will be back soon! Keep up the great work!

Good chili dogs, pretty waitresses. Had a screwdriver. The alcohol wasn't noticeable, but I don't drink often.

The owner is a Sailor! Enough said! But I'm still gonna say something. I had the Boats'n mate sandwich ( turkey club on marble rye) a good sandwich had some sweet potatoes fries as a side that could have been a bit fresher when hitting the table. Coffee was shipboard worthy. Service was good, and pleasing to the eye! Could have been a touch quicker with the check. Had some issues with the head but it added to my shipboard experience in a land locked restaurant.

They're very nice folks, in a less-than perfect location, trying and learning as a new place. These are the places we should most support, help, offer a suggestion and thanks. It's a tough business, don't be a "try it once" soul. We had a nice breakfast, eager to give lunch a try.

Anchor Allie's carries a bit of nostalgia for me as I used to go there in Virginia Beach. I was thrilled to see it open in Fayetteville! The waitstaff here were so friendly and welcoming. The food was fine - but if it's anything like the one in VA Beach, it'll soon be fantastic and definitely a brunch destination.

Gorgeous veteran owner greets clients with a smile. Food is simple and delicious. The coffee is great - far and away better than any diner. Waitresses in pinup shorts and striped tees. What are you worried about?
