Took money under false pretense... But at least they refunded me the 2nd night. Accepted my booking for a 2-night stay despite every local Twillingate tourist attraction being closed for the season. A call to warn of the potential misunderstanding would have been appreciated. I packed up and left today, a day early. Better to "take the L" and go elsewhere than waste the day. Note: Don't rely on Google OPEN/CLOSED for tourist attractions. They were ALL incorrectly listed as OPEN today. P.S. Ordered the most expensive thing on the menu (Fisherman's Wharf) at their in-house restaurant, Georgie's, it was awful; salted to the point of bitterness. By contrast, my spouse's inexpensive fish and chips was well executed. Server was counting the minutes under her shift was over. P.P.S. Rooms were very simple and dated, but spacious and clean. Bed was comfy with good pillows.

We enjoyed our stay. We have stayed at the Anchor Inn before, but this time we were in the annex, a 2 storey building just up the road from the main hotel. We were pleased with our room, it was a decent size and the bathroom was modern and spacious with a lovely shower. There was a fridge and a microwave and they have installed a portable AC unit venting through the window. We enjoyed the show at the pub that night. |I would gladly stay here again.

The Ancho Inn was an excellent spot to stay in the charming community of Twillingate! Amazing views right out the window. We were there late season so missed the iceberg that I am told are so impressive! Places to eat close by and a great launch point for some of the most beautiful drives in Newfoundland.

We only stayed one night but it covered all of our needs. No breakfast included but there is a restaurant on site. We did not eat here as our travels had us on the road before it opened. There is also a coffee and pastry shop across the road. The front desk lady was pleasant and helpful with getting my friends and I booked in and guiding us to the dinner theatre and the shops. It’s not tricky when you walk for about ten minutes. We stopped in the pub also on site after the dinner theatre and saw a guy singing some songs and playing guitar. He was a great story teller We had a very good time. We had an ocean view room and wow!! I would stay here again if we were coming through Twillingate The beds are comfortable. The room is a good size there is a bar fridge and a coffee maker. There is an ice machine if required. Basic room with what you would expect

Stayed for 3 nights and our room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant attached has great food and friendly service. The pub on the lower level has entertainment 6 nights a week. The performer is fantastic. Make reservations for both because it’s fills up quickly.

Everything about our time here was perfect. The staff were friendly; the room was large, and well appointed with good quality linens and comfy beds, the location was ideal. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were in the annex and while it was up the hill, it was still very close to the main building. I truly hope to make it back here again someday.

Nice clean room with a bit of a water view. They have a good restaurant on the property, as well. Breakfasts at the restaurant were quite good, as was the one dinner we had there.

Nothing wrong with this place, especially if you're able to take advantage of the kitchenette to save on food costs during your stay. It's centrally located close to twillingate and crows head. The staff were polite and the room was clean. The pub, restaurant, and cafe were all good. We stayed in the annex building, which is a bit more out of the way.
