A very cozy campground. Perfect for families: many children playing.
Bunnies, birds, waves from the ocean. An interesting trail with the Outside story was just Wow!
The best shelter kitchen with electric stove, wifi, hot water and A/C plugs.
Grand Manan itself is definitely charming you when you explore it or just sit and listen.

Very unassuming campground at first sight, but had a lot to offer. Can easily get ~5 miles of east hiking in with plenty to see between the beaches and ponds (one of which you can swim/paddle in). Facilities were clean and never crowded. We were in a campervan but noticed that the tent sites were also very private and tucked away behind shrubs. Glad we chose this over the North Head campgrounds as it’s also much easier to get in and out of to explore other parts of the island.

Great campground! First of all the staff were super friendly and helpful and welcoming. And then there are the bunnies. This place is crawling with a wild population of domestic bunnies. Definitely make sure to bring some carrots or other vegetables if you want to make some friends. The tent sites themselves are pretty nice too (though I will say you should choose wisely if you want some seclusion) and there’s a path down to a nice beach which is great to walk along. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to the island!

I absolutely love this place, and always wanted the rustic shelter by the beach. The shelter itself was good, do note take appropriate mattresses as the wood bed gets hard fast .The waves crashing all night is louder than one may expect so you may want some ear protection .Due to all the rabbits burrowing under the shelter , there was a mass of kids and their people flocked all around it until dark.So no chance at taking a nap or quiet time and personal space.Other than that, it was a beautiful view and it was so nice to be on the beach for the morning walks in seconds!

Beautiful, peaceful close to the ocean. Always a little bit cool and damp due to the proximity of the ocean, but exactly what we need for a day trip
to the island. All services are perfect here.

Our family camped at Anchorage Provincial Park in August 2021. The staff were friendly and helpful. The park is close to a large grocery store with everything you need and there is a convenience store nearby as well. The campground had wild blackberries and raspberries and - the best part - wild bunnies! While we were there we also went on a whale watching tour which was amazing. I can't recommend this campground enough.

Enjoy this campsite. Lots of rabbits running around to entertain the children. Play area for kids. I really enjoyed how quiet the campsite was . Had a relaxing stay, and would go again.

Yelp
We stumbled onto this campground which somehow wasn't previously listed in Yelp. We checked in for 2 days but stayed almost 2 weeks.
The views are grand, the rate are very reasonable but the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff are the distinguishing characteristics that made or visit one of pure delight.
Yes, of course, we hope to go back!

Yelp
Beautiful spot with possibly the best beach on the island. Great to explore and very friendly staff. Take a walk along the beach during the sunset at low tide and the world is at your fingertips fingertips.
