Anchorage Resort

This was our first night on the island and it was perfect. It was so quiet. There was only one other guest the pier you’re able to walk all the way out on and swim off of which was great. They had water in the office that you could fill your water bottle up with as you cannot drink the water from the tap on the island. The one thing to know when taking a shower, the water is mixed with salt, water and rainwater, and it smelt a little, like taking a shower and tuna fish.

We will stay here again when we come back. Things I loved:|- super warm/friendly manager and staff|- on the quieter part of the south side|- easy set up for bike rentals; we rode our bikes everywhere and had a blast; also easy to walk for meals|- enjoying the gorgeous ocean from our balcony, the dock, and the beach chairs|- we had everything we needed in our room in a basic way: couch and table/ chair, TV and microwave, air conditioning, shampoo and soap

An amazing stay at Anchorage! The location is perfect, right by the sea, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The entire place is spotlessly clean, with every detail carefully thought out. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, making the experience even more special. Thank you for such a wonderful time—highly recommended!

The Anchorage is great!! The manager Delroy is super helpful. They have bikes to rent and laundry service. I would definitely stay here again. Just book it!

Fantastic place to stay! Anchorage Resort was lovely. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. They had one of the best beach areas on the whole island! The rooms were spotless and well equipped with shampoo and body wash. Towels regularly changed and beach towels available at the office. Laundry service offered. Free kayaks available for use and bikes available for rent. Free tea and coffee in the office every morning. Couldn’t recommend anywhere else, and it’s very affordable for Caye Caulker! Thanks so much for a great stay!

Great place to stay! We came on a Saturday and stayed until Tuesday. Amazing customer service from everyone in the resort. My wife got some braids done for a very good price, they have drinks in the office (try the grapefruit one), we needed a spoon for my daughter’s cereal and they delivered one with no problems. Lots of local wildlife (iguanas) on the grounds and some fish and tiny crabs around the dock. There’s even an arrow crab that tucks in the posts on the pier.

A large group of us visited in July 2024. Anchorage bay is no frills, at the quieter end of the island, but only a 10 minute walk to the split. It is directly on the sea front with a nice jetty to sit on and pass the time.|The Manager could not have been more helpful accommodating our group, he went above and beyond arranging extras to make our group visit work.

Great place, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, free kayak rentals. Cant go wrong!
