Anchors Aweigh - Narooma

Stayed two nights in May 2024. Kerry greeted us on arrival and could not have been more helpful and attentive. Room was large and spotless with a magnificent bedhead I believe designed by Heather. We also had a great view. Breakfast was multiple courses, had plenty of choice and cooked perfectly. A great way to start the day. The small details that make a stay enjoyable/memorable were all thought of and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and will stay again.

A cosy vintage boutique hotel filled with lovely momentous of the owner and families! Very interesting! Kerry is so wonderful! Very welcoming and helpful! The breakfast was indeed sumptuous! Many options and every entry was served with such care and lovely touch! Kerry see to our every request and making sure that we have sufficient H2O for the road! So thoughtful! Highly recommended! Narooma is a beautiful town! There is a Catholic Church, Our Lady Star of the Sea and they have mass on Sunday at 9.30am. Be sure to visit the Australia Rock and the Seal Rock! The seals were many, resting on the rocks! Absolutely adorable! There is a cafe near the hotel that serves Pizza at night! Nice pizza with very friendly staffs !

Welcomed with lovely hosts. Rooms super clean, beds lovely with plenty of pillows. Beautiful breakfast with amazing eggs. Owners could not do enough for you as a guest. Thank you. Safe location within walking distance to hotels/ shops etc!

This small bed & breakfast was a delightful find! The owners were friendly & helpful. The room was well equipped even with fine china tea cups. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows & towels. Breakfast was included.

Honestly, best stay in Australia so far. Everything was beyond exceptional. As soon as you enter you are greeted by the warmest welcome, the rooms are superbly clean and the breakfast is delicious and very big. Can highly recommend if you are passing through the town or staying for a while.

The place is very unique. It's not only a hotel but also a museum. The old couple has a life worth of collection of all sorts on display. From toys to old coins to portraits and all the cool things. It's a very cozy place. This is the right place for you if you appreciate art and collections. We had a very unique experience and the owner was very nice.

The highest level of hygiene I've ever seen before in a stay. The room is so cozy and comfy. The details of this place are amazing. I am beyond grateful to stay here. 🧡The element of making my holiday perfect.🧡

We stayed 2 nights at Anchors Aweigh and had a wonderful time! We found the owners to be very welcoming and hospitable and couldn't be more helpful or attentive to us whilst we were there. Our ensuite room was extremely cosy and exceedingly clean. It was fully stocked with tea, coffee and all you could possibly need during a weekend stay. The very generous and well cooked breakfast was delicious and really set us up for the day. The Guest House itself is full of quirky but fascinating objects and things to look at.. and has an interesting story itself. I would highly recommend this place to stay when you are visiting beautiful Narooma. Thanks so much for a great weekend ! 👍😃
