We visited midday and had an amazing experience—no lines, no waiting. We walked right in and were able to explore freely. The area is beautiful and perfect for taking photos. We enjoyed the sights, soaked in the atmosphere, and appreciated the opportunity to see so much culture and history in one place. It’s definitely a cool spot to bring someone special, hang out, and even take time to read up on the local landmarks and museum exhibits. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

The heart of the ancient city. Wonderful to wander through another time. I enjoyed it. However i think they could do a lot more in terms of signage, explaining and showing how the walls would have been and general maintenance of the ruins. Given the current price of €20/ person. Rough guess of €10k or day income. Could be a lot better.

We downloaded the 47 minute guided tour and loved the experience walking through the ruins, the museum and seeing the temple Hephaestus. It was super hot, but still an awesome walk through

We visited this site during our trip to Athens. The temple of Hephaestus was a sight to see. So many beautiful and detailed reconstructions of the sight allow you to understand how this location served the ancient people of Athens. It’s really a must see if you visit Athens.

The ancient market, so impressive! Hearing from the tour guide and reading about the daily life of the ancient Athenians is impressive! closing the eyes, the imagination creates images of the past and somewhere there the great tragic poet or Aristophanes gives his performances! You feel blessed to step on the soil where Socrates, Plato, Aristophanes, Diogenes lived in big jar without missing anything!!!

This would be at the acropolis. We visited in early April and the crowds were very manageable. If you’re in Athens and DON’T see this world treasure, you are missing out. It’s awe inspiring. I recommend using Viatour to book tickets and a small group tour. We used the acropolis and acropolis museum combo.

An amazing and expansive archaeological site, including a museum, the Temple of Ares and the Temple of Hephaestus. There is so much to see here that, aside from the Acropolis, we spent the most time here of the 7 major sites included in the combo pass. One of the other interesting things about this site is the juxtaposition of the old ruins with the graffiti train cars running through the site! Definitely a must see in Athens!!

The Archaeological Site of the Agora in Athens was truly amazing. You can see many untouched ruins, with remnants and rubble scattered throughout the area. There are also several statues preserved in place, and what makes it special is how naturally everything has been left — not built over, but open for people to walk through and experience as it is. Most of the site is accessible and open-air, which makes it even more enjoyable, especially since you can visit until late in the day. The price was affordable, and the overall experience was excellent. There’s so much history here, and it’s undeniably one of the most important parts of the ancient city of Athens.
