Good complement of the city after you visit the acropolis. One advantage of it is you don't find many people and you can see all the monument in better way as well you can find better pictures. You will find temple of Hefestion and Ares

Feels wonderful to stand in the place where it was once the seat of great civilization. Best time to visit after 6pm as day time very very hot. Must have walking shoes no sandals or high heels as the ancient marbles are very very shiny & slippery. In fact one especially 60 plus must be careful while wearing sneakers too as I saw a lady slip. … though wearing sneakers. Must visit for all tourists but do refrain from traveling if you are old…

Loved visiting this site! So much to see. I particularly enjoyed the links with Paul and his time in Athens- something I hadn't considered at all. Fascinating seeing the changes over time, the additions and reductions, as well as the sites that represented so much that is central to Greek religious and democratic history- seeing actual ostrska in the museum and the balloting 'machine' for jury duty will both stick in my memory. Amazing to see the temple of Hephaestus in such good condition too. More could have been made of the opportunities presented by all of this though: the museum shop was a shocker. Even the ladies behind the desk- constituting almost the entirety of it- looked surprised when I walked in.

Its about time we attended this site. In all the years we have visited Athens, we never made it to come here. It was great to see the other Acropolis that is in better condition than the main one that we all know about. The whole site is excellent. A must visit

We visited midday and had an amazing experience—no lines, no waiting. We walked right in and were able to explore freely. The area is beautiful and perfect for taking photos. We enjoyed the sights, soaked in the atmosphere, and appreciated the opportunity to see so much culture and history in one place. It’s definitely a cool spot to bring someone special, hang out, and even take time to read up on the local landmarks and museum exhibits. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

As beautiful as we expected and then some! Had no real appreciation of how large the site is. We went at 8am to beat the crowds and the August heat, and it was definitely a good call. Buying tickets in advance seems to be required - we got a multi-site pass which worked out pretty well (though it did involve a couple of other apps). We saw a family with a little one caught out as they hadn’t realised strollers are not allowed, so be aware families!

The Ancient Agora is a beautiful site to wander through and get a sense of Athens’ history. The highlight for me was the museum building—it’s especially impressive and really adds depth to the visit. A great spot to combine a walk among the ruins with some fascinating artifacts.

The heart of the ancient city. Wonderful to wander through another time. I enjoyed it. However i think they could do a lot more in terms of signage, explaining and showing how the walls would have been and general maintenance of the ruins. Given the current price of €20/ person. Rough guess of €10k or day income. Could be a lot better.
