Ancient Weapons Museum

Located inside the Second Tower (Seconda Torre – Fratta), the Ancient Weapons Museum is a fascinating stop for anyone interested in history or military artifacts. The museum houses an impressive and well-curated collection of old weapons, ranging from swords and crossbows to early firearms and armor. Though the museum is not very large, it covers a surprisingly wide range of periods and styles, giving visitors a glimpse into the evolution of weaponry over the centuries. Each piece is displayed with care, and even those with little background in military history will find it engaging.

S-tier little museum and the signs are actually interesting. I'm learning about armour and weapons which in most museums are just blah blah some dead person I don't care about owned this. Also very aesthetic interior with air conditioning to keep things comfortable even on a cold day. Got WiFi for the YouTube videos.

Museum is within the tower and the ticket you get for entry into the tower gets you in the museum. Well kept and with a great collection with unique to San Marino items. Wort the visit.

Your entrance fee also gains you access to the hugh tower and you can climb to the top for amazing views and some of the best photos of the old City. The Tower is very impressive and has commanding views of the surrounding area. Really authentic, love the nature, the view, the castles... A dream. Was a nice trip.

A nice collection of knives, swords, firearms and another medievals stuffs.

Fascinating and scary at the same time. The fact that for hundreds and hundreds of years talented people used their very high skills and vivid imagination to make beautifully decorated, exquisitely ornate objects whose main purpose was to hurt or kill other people never ceases to surprise me... Anyway, it is a quite beautiful exhibition..

A small but nicely laid out museum with both ancient weapons and a nice sampling of unusual weapons that predate WW2. There are information cards in three languages. There is even a cabnet of clever fakes and knock offs that are just as interesting as the real weapons. The collection is contained in Tower two of the old city. Your entrance fee also gains you access to the hugh tower and you can climb to the top for amazing views and some of the best photos of the old City. The Tower is very impressive and has commanding views of the surrounding area. The pass you purchase to get into this attraction also grants you access to 4 other attractions in the old city.

The 13th-century Cesta (Second) Tower is situated on the highest peak of Mount Titano and offers incredible views and photo opportunities over the surrounding area. The ancient weapons museum hosts a vast collection of ancient weaponry and armour from the Medieval era right through to 19th/20th century firearms. It's well worth a visit when sightseeing in San Marino.
