The most memorable and greatest experience I have had in Panama. The view up here is breathtaking and so worth the one hour hike. It is truly spectacular.

A fairly easy hike up. We came here in the morning so it was not that got yet. The best place to get a good look at the Canal with a nice pair of binoculars or zoom camera. The photos we took of the canal are from our zoom camera.
If you're a patient, you will also see some Toucans!
The speeds spinning three to four hours on a round trip to the canal

One of the most memorable experience during my trip to Panama. Woke up early and hiked up the hill, arrived right before sunrise. I think it was about a 30 min walk. Ran into some Americans who were doing some missionary work. Once summiting the hill you are able to see the entire city from a panoramic perspective.

Nice and easy hiking trail. Close to downtown. Overlook Panama city and the canal. There are plenty of platforms and benches to rest. Wonderful experience!

I really enjoyed the walk up Ancon Hill. It's about 2m (~3.2k) round trip hike. The incline is gradual and doable. I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility challenges or who has issues being on their feet for significant stretches at a time. There are benches on the hike which makes things easier. We didn't see many animals on our visit, but the views are beyond spectacular!

Ancón Hill is a 199 metres (653 ft) high hill that overlooks Panama City, Panama, adjacent to the township of Ancón. Interesting walk through jungle and you might even see some animals. Not a difficult walk but the air temperature and humidity can increase discomfort.

Exhausting to climb the hill but worthwhile. Great outlook of the city, the bay and the canal. The plants and flowers are abundant
