We popped in on spec and wow...that has got to be up there with the best lunches we've had. The focaccia sandwich and the filo parcel were delightful! And good value! The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was warm. We will definitely be back! Thank you &caws 🥰

A fabulously curated collection of cheese and deli items - there's always something interesting to try, friendly advice and explanations and brilliant sandwiches at lunchtimes. The Christmas sandwich this year was stunning and it's lovely to come for wine and cheese in the evening. The menu is short and simple allowing the produce to shine and if there's anything in the fridge or shelves you would like to have, you can pick it up and add it on. There's also fondue nights and pop-up dining from local chefs which always have delicious sounding menus and book out quickly. A really lovely addition to Menai Bridge.

There’s no way to write a second review for the same place, unless you edit your previous one, so I’m adding this bit to my 2023 review, which you can scroll down to… We went to &Caws on Friday night and had a great meal of small plates, delicious fondu and excellent wine and local stout. Particular highlights were the Ciaco e Pepe Chickpeas and Focaccia with Taleggio and N’Juda. The fondue, which you can have with broccoli and potatoes, as well as bread and cornichons is excellent. The Basque Cheesecake with Apple Compote was more than enough for 2 people and delicious. We had a lovely supper of a few things done very well. It was good value too - about £50 for the food for 2 of us, and we walked away full!! Lovely service and great music and ambience too. Thanks Ed and Mollie 🧡 My Review from 2023 We are regular customers, and for good reason. The shop has great range of delicious cheeses, charcuterie, other deli items, pasta, wine and local beers. Ed is so knowledgable and he and Tim offer friendly advice. They also makes delicious filled rolls, which change daily. (See Instagram for the weekly menu.) We’ve also been to their usual Friday night openings as well as specific events, such as a beer and cheese tasting evening last night, which was excellent. The Head Brewer from Llandudno’s Wild Horse Brewing Co showcased some of their beers, which Ed had expertly paired with some of &Caws’ cheeses. Beer and cheese is going to become a new thing in our house😀

Absolutely love this place! We went here multiple times during our recent trip to beautiful Menai Bridge. In the evening we had incredible cheese and charcuterie with great wine recommendations, then came back to pick up sandwiches for a picnic the next day. We also couldn't resist popping back in for a hot chocolate when the weather wasn't great outside. They have a superb range of cheeses and deli stuff, plus really good wines and beers. Ed and Tim that run the shop are really knowledgeable and welcoming too, and the shop itself is beautiful. Highly recommended.
