& Waffles delivered a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. We tried the Cajun chicken and waffles, and it was a standout dish—crispy, well-seasoned chicken paired perfectly with fluffy waffles and just the right amount of heat from the Cajun spices. The balance of sweet and savory made every bite satisfying. We also ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, which was equally impressive. It was generously filled and packed with flavor, with the chorizo adding a smoky, spicy kick that complemented the eggs and cheese beautifully. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were very satisfying. What really set the experience apart, though, was the service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Everything arrived promptly and just as we ordered. Overall, & Waffles is a spot we’ll definitely be returning to for both the food and the excellent hospitality.

My family and I go here at least once a month! It's a delicious waffle spot! When we have family visit us, they always want to go here. It's not a huge place, with kind of a crammed inside seating area, as well as some outside seating, and sometimes there is a small wait (if you go on a busy weekend morning). But totally worth it! Service is friendly and attentive. Food comes out quickly and everything is warm and fresh. They have a good amount of items on the menu, but we always end up getting waffles. The waffles are fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. There is also a cute wing painting on the side of the wall that is a waffle design, for taking pictures. Fun spot with great food. Worth going for some breakfast and, of course, waffles!

Google
We came here before the crazy lunch crowd came. We did shared plates, bacon waffle, chicken wings and onion rings. It was all very good. They do fried chicken right here. This is one of 2 places I know that do bacon waffles. The battery on the onion rings is crispy and didn't get soggy.

I thought this place was alright. It's nothing special. Perhaps because we have tasted melted butter (very few restaurants make their butter this way) and hot syrup on our waffles 🧇. Also, the place was somewhat smaller than I'd imagined. On top of that, finding parking here can be a little bit of a hassle when the place gets crowded. However, the customer service was great, food was served pretty quickly and the waiters were friendly 💯. The food: - Waffles & Cajun Wings 🧇🍗 (6/10): The waffles we got were too crispy (some people probably prefer this). We love our waffles to be a little chewy. What really disappointed me was their chicken wings. These were very salty and the meat was dry. - Waffle Combo 🍳🌭🥓 (1/2 waffle) (7/10): The eggs and the bacon for this dish saved it. They were delicious and the eggs were a little wet (which improved the taste 👍🏻). I didn't like their sausage because, again, they were too salty for our liking. Finally, the pricing was a bit more expensive than I had expected. For the same type of dish, we were paying $3 less for each dish in our favorite brunch place in West LA. Overall, if you live close by, you can try it out, perhaps you will end up enjoying it more than I did since everyone's taste-buds are different. However, if you have to drive for more than 30 minutes just to get there, you are better off going somewhere else for your waffles needs 🫠.

Google
The food was amazing and the portions were huge but what topped it off for me was the service. Jasmine was our server and she was incredibly sweet and ensured that we were taken care of. We sat outside in the far corner ( our preference ) and she was the only one serving at the time and still checked in on us and apologized for the wait that we didn’t even feel. We got the Cajun chicken and waffles and wings and waffles. Both entrees were delicious!

Stopped in for our first time yesterday for Saturday breakfast and we were all really impressed with the food taste, and quality. It is a bit expensive compared to other breakfast locations close by, but it does taste very good. They have a parking lot behind the restaurant for free parking, however, it was full when we arrived so we had to do metered street parking. It’s right next-door to the busy Easy Street Burgers. This block can get quite crowded during certain times of the day. Inside is fairly small, but they offer a lot of outdoor seating, which is where our table was. Our server was really polite and fast. They have a very large menu, but their main specialty are waffles. I chose the country fried steak skillet, which is basically a country fried steak plate on top of potatoes on a skillet. It was very good and steak was a great treat. I also got a churro waffle and thought it was fantastic. Probably my favorite part of the entire breakfast. We also ordered a fruity pebble waffle, and it was a bit sweeter and also delicious. Overall, this is a great breakfast location and I would recommend it to anyone. I think the pricing is a bit high, but we were all still glad that we chose this place for breakfast. I plan to be back in the near future.

Google
One of the best breakfast spots in L.A.! We were in town for the weekend. We wanted to have a Non-Hotel Restaurant experience. This is a hidden gem with plenty of safe parking. We had the Eggs Benedict-Delicious. We also ordered the house specialty Texas style Fried Chicken & Waffles..simply Devine. Now, the entree that stole the show was The Boysenberry Waffle a 10+. The wait staff kept our coffee cup filled the whole time. & Waffles will definitely be on our list every time we are in L.A.

Google
Great breakfast right next to Universal, definitely worth a stop for some top quality waffles and breakfast burritos. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito which was massive, lots of meat, potato, eggs, avocado, the works. It was great but a super heavy way to start the day. The guys I was with all got waffles and avocado toast etc, everything looked excellent. We ate on the patio behind the restaurant, it was chill, service was great. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Went there with the kids today and wow...the waffles were amazing. My daughter said "I'm in love with a waffle" . I had the chorizo burrito which was just perfection - then ate half of my husband's waffle. The team there is also really on top of their service and so kind. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a friend & so glad I finally got to stop by to check it out. They were open fourth of July & we were seated right away with no wait. They have a great variety on their menu & were also able to customize a skillet dish we wanted to make it vegetarian, which we really appreciated! The staff here was also super friendly, we felt our waiter Christian really went above & beyond to make sure we had a great experience, he was super attentive on top of everything! The food was just okay & prices were a bit steep hence the four starts but service was definitely 5 stars! Will definitely be coming back to try out other dishes!

Yelp
The Churro waffles are so so so good. Definitely recommend this place if you are the are for like Universal or something. They have a small parking lot in the back and a fun photo op wall on the side.

Yelp
Yummy! I can see why this place looks so popular. I should say I can TASTE NOW what makes this place so popular. I don't think you can go wrong here and the constant business is proof of that. I've been here twice and would come back again real soon. I had to have the waffle combo and it was really good.

Yelp
Great experience today meeting with friends for brunch! For reference, we went on a Saturday at 11am and there was no wait for a table of 4! I was very surprised because it was a nice day outside and one would expect it to be crowded. There was also tons of parking around (both metered and street). My friend was lucky to find a spot in the small lot they have. The service was fantastic - I particularly want to highlight Nate who was our server. He was so attentive and friendly. He went out of his way multiple times to make sure we have everything we need. Genuinely a really nice guy. The food was amazing - of course the waffles were perfect. I got a full waffle with strawberries and blueberries on top. The butter they use is nice and completes the dish. My friend got waffles and a side of sausage and another friend got the waffle burger which looked great too. Will definitely be back again!!

Yelp
I recommend & Waffles 1000 times over. Courteous, conversational, fantastic, Customer Service, timely, reads cues for placing order and check delivery. They had wonderful recommendations. I wish I had enough belly space to have eaten more. They even have space outside for you to take picture with their waffle wings. Super cute. Cannot wait to visit again!

Yelp
Lots of waffle options. I got a waffle combo with a side of a la carte fried chicken and side of biscuits and gravy. Waffle was crispy and light, chicken was seasoned well with a crunch and good thickness and biscuits and gravy were tasty with a slight crunch to the outer side of the biscuit. The hash browns didn't hit the mark for me, id skip next time and see if they had maybe house potatoes. Service was quick and attentive. The place itself had indoor and outdoor spots with lots of space in between. If you're looking for anything waffle this is the place to try.

Yelp
The service was exceptional--Christian was attentive, kind, and welcoming. The food arrived quickly, and overall, the service was efficient and pleasant. However, the restaurant itself felt simple and unremarkable, and the 30+ minute wait for a table was a downside. * Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles: The chicken was tender, juicy, and crispy, but lacked depth in flavor. The waffles were fluffy and well-made, but the maple syrup was disappointing--it had a stringy texture and tasted overly processed, artificial, and sugary. * Veggie Omelette with Feta & Home Fries: A solid dish--fresh, well-prepared, and the house salsa added a great spicy kick. Ambiance - not much to say about it. I had been meaning to try this spot for a while, and while I'm glad I finally did, I likely wouldn't return. Verdict: Great service, decent food, but not memorable enough to revisit.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been here twice. both times were good but there was always something that missed the mark. the first time they forgot one of our side items- the sourdough bread. The second time they undercooked the hash browns. They do one thing really well - and of course it was the waffles! So I'd definitely come here for waffles but not much else. Service was fast and friendly. They have a lot of people working and they turnover tables fairly quickly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. located right on the corner with plenty of street parking available.

Yelp
Hands down one of our favorite restaurants. A family-friendly spot, opens early, and has sweet and caring servers. It's small, cozy and inviting, with indoor and outdoor seating (both front and back outdoor seating). They used to have larger couches for bigger parties, but, now have tables and chairs. If you're not part of the early bird crowd, expect long wait periods! There's limited parking spots nearby, so plan to park a block or two away (honestly, that's not the worst thing, since you can walk off the meal). The food is very good, and the waffles are the right consistency: fluffy, crispy and can hold toppings well. Our favorite: breakfast combo with 1/2 waffles - strawberry and nutella

Yelp
A solid spot for brunch! I would rate it a generally above average for a chicken and waffles focused brunch spot with solid coffee with one huge caveat that I have noticed in general around the Toluca Lake/San Fernando Valley neighborhood - Chicken and Waffles is the breast fillet only! I was super sad to get fried breast fillets when I saw others get a platter of fried chicken wings with leg meat on it too. It is a separate option here and it was labeled Wings and Waffles. I won't fault the place too hard for that as this happens at other brunch places with chicken and waffles in the area, and I should have read the menu more thoroughly but this is just a fair warning to people like myself who are used to getting half a chicken (thighs, legs, wings, and a breast) for an order of chicken and waffles.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious Belgian waffles! Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Topped with fresh strawberries and real whipped cream or ice cream couldn't ask for a better start to the day. Also great breakfast selection! Service is outstanding also always welcome service dogs

Yelp
Food is great no doubt about it. I had the Chicken and Waffles and the Chorizo Burrito another time. However the service is slow, especially for how expensive the food and drinks are. They should have more waiters cause it always seems to be pretty busy too. The workers and waiters that are there are nice however it just seems like they need more help. The ambiance is ok, nothing special.

Yelp
I came across this spot, while searching for a breakfast spot when my friend was visiting. I wanted to try out a new place! I had never seen this restaurant while driving on Lankershim, so was interested to check it out. There is a small parking lot in the back, as well as metered parking. It is definitely a diner style restaurant, and while there is indoor and outdoor seating, it gets busy fast! I really wanted to try out their waffles (they have a TON of yummy options) but I personally went for a salad. Their grilled shrimp salad was very good. It was fresh and they gave a ton of avocado. This spot is best for two or three people, as the inside is a but on the smaller size. But I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Yelp
I have too wonderful things to say about this place. Huge portions, great atmosphere, friendly service and of course delicious food. Food always comes out super fast and I appreciate how attentive the waiters are. Make sure to grab one of their famous iced coffees, and grab one for me to go please!!

Yelp
Perfect breakfast spot for you early risers. Parking located in the back or street parking available. Great variety of menu items and drinks. Their waffles are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy and hot in the inside. I had the country fried steak and eggs, loved the gravy. A bit overpriced for breakfast dishes but overall great service. It definitely gets busy and noisy but great place to catch up with friends.

Yelp
Good food, good service. Looking forward to my next meal. The service is very accommodating, and the food is solid.

Yelp
Theres a parking lot but its small. We just looked for metered street parking. Inside is a bit small so plan on getting here when its not too crowded. Menu is pricey for the type of food. I ordered the chicken waffle sandwich. It consists of Cajun prepared chicken and it was really good! Interestingly, the waffle was really fluffy. At first glance it seems like it might be soggy but it made a big difference for the sandwich. It was perfect! I don't think many spots can get away with that but trust me, the chicken waffle sandwich! It did have some "accidental" strawberry on it. I think thats because we also ordered a second dish of waffles with strawberries. Our server seemed nice enough, but a bit too relaxed. Would've been nice to have our water refilled even once. She did offer us water to go. A little odd but I did appreciate the gesture.

Yelp
First time at & Waffles as it was recommended by a friend. Easy to find the eatery as it's right on the corner. They have their own parking lot and they also have street metered parking available. Street parking by residential area is permit only parking. As soon as we came in, the young lady greeted us and sat us down. They didn't take long to take our orders and our food was delivered to our table in 10 minutes. I asked for new utensils as the ones wrapped and sealed in the napkin has food residue. The young man came back several minutes later to give me freshly wrapped utensils with non food residue. The chicken and waffle was good and had a little bit of cajun taste to it. Waffles were freshly made. They were fluffy and hot. The strawberries might have been organic as they were sour. Perfect balance to the whip creme and waffles. We were looking for good coffee and we didn't find much of a selection for coffee, latte or espresso drinks here. We hope to come back and try other breakfast items on the menu and hopefully good coffee drinks too.

Yelp
First time trying this place, was looking for somewhere good while visiting LA, and both did this place have great food! Very friendly and quick staff, and the food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely have to try here again.
google avatar

Darylynn D.

Yelp
I had breakfast here and it wasn't bad. I had Texas Style chicken and waffles. The chicken was okay. I really enjoyed the waffles because they had a slight crisp to it which I wasn't expecting. It just so happened right after I placed my order there was an abundance of to-go orders in a short amount of time that the kitchen was a little bit in a back log. It didn't hinder my experience, but I appreciated how the waiter handled it.
google avatar

Crystal L.

Yelp
Very underwhelmed by this place, the food was subpar and expensive and the ambiance itself is nothing special. The only thing that makes up for this is the great service and staff. We were seated almost immediately, our waitress was quick with water and our orders, food came in quick and was kind and attentive the entire time. I ordered the pancake combo ($17.50) that came with two pancakes, two sausages and bacon, and eggs made your way. Just like any breakfast plate you can get almost anywhere, nothing special to it and the pancakes were kind of dry (probably should have tried the waffles..) Also ordered a hot coffee but it was bitter so I didn't finish it. My fiancé ordered the chicken melt ($20) that came with fries. He seemed to enjoy his meal more than I did. The total came out to $46.36 not including tip, that's the typical cost of a meal for us when we go out but don't feel the price was worth the quality of food.

Yelp
My family & I went to grab some breakfast here before going to universal and it was AMAZING!! I ended up getting the corn beef hash with some eggs & it came with waffles too. Very filling and the portions are big! The customer service was amazing! 10/10 would recommend going here. Definitely coming back next time we are in L.A
google avatar

Sarkis Z.

Yelp
As the name implies this place has waffles and other offerings. The food and service were quite good but personally I prefer the breakfast restaurant in my neighborhood. In another life if I lived closer to & Waffles then this would probably be higher on my list of go to breakfast spots. But if you're around the neighborhood and have a hankering for all the morning classics then you can't go wrong with & Waffles
google avatar

Andre S.

Yelp
This is an absolutely must try location. The food is always amazing and the service is attentive , friendly, and prompt. The Cajun fried chicken and waffles are a perfect combination of savory and sweet. The ambience is fun and they have closed caption tv with sports so you can keep up with your favorite team. Great job #&Waffles Looking forward to our next visit.
google avatar

Angiee L.

Yelp
Hidden gem! Small restaurant inside with outside seating. We were greeted and sat down right away staff was very friendly. We got the Baja omelette with side waffle, fruity pebble waffle with Texas style fried chicken. Super fluffy waffle! Only thing it needed was just a tad bit more of the syrup it comes with. Definitely worth coming here for brunch on the weekends.
google avatar

Carol D.

Yelp
Great local cafe! Service, staff and food was excellent! Will absolutely go back! Waffles came out hot and perfectly cooked. My husband had the fried chicken and waffles and he thought that was great! Be prepared to wait a bit.

Yelp
Cozy corner breakfast spot near the Sheraton Universal Hotel. 10 minutes via Uber. Seated immediately on a Monday morning, food came out fast. When I'm on a work time crunch, I notice the clock a lot more. Pros: + Best waffles I've ever had - fluffy and soft! + Outdoor seating available + TV dialed in to Friends!! + Apple Pay accepted Cons: - None What I Ordered: + Steak Omelette; 5/5 I opted for a half waffle instead of a side and toast. I can see why they're called & Waffles. Fluffiest waffle I've ever had.
google avatar

Adrienne O.

Yelp
Let me start with service....FANTASTIC and very accommodating. We were a small group WITH KIDS. But did that scare them? Not at all. They actually provided us back patio seating. Connects to the parking lot but still pretty and very shaded. Great ambiance. Our host/servers were so kind and very quick to check on us and get our orders. We were able to request the pancakes with chocolate chips, waffles, and strwaberry/banana Nutella crepe. DELICIOUS. THE WAFFLE is a must. After all, that's their name. But if you enjoy omelettes then the Mediterranean is your best bet. It has lamb sausage and ton of feta. Olives are not my favorite but it did add that acidic flavor I needed. Parking can be found on the side street which looks like an alley way but it's a small row of available parking. You can also find metered parking on the main street or residential area.
google avatar

Miles S.

Yelp
Yeah this spot fiya bruh. Packed all the time, solid amount of food for the pricing. Everything hittin and a big menu for a breakfast spot. Stay Eatin here fasho!
google avatar

Jonathan D.

Yelp
Went for a family breakfast on 5/24/2025. First the hostess was rude: she asked us three times how many kids menu we needed while we kept telling her that our 6 years old will order from the main menu. She eventually said with huge attitude "well, you could have said so", and when she took us to our table threw the menus on the table and shook her head while walking away. Second, waffles are terrible. We ordered chicken waffle sandwich with over medium eggs, chicken wings with waffles, and matcha waffles. The waffles were not fresh, tasted like baking soda with a texture that was not at all "true Belgium waffles" as they claim. The eggs came runny and when I asked them to fix them they took my eggs and gave me back something that looked like a 2 eggs omelette ‍. Chicken wings tasted pure salt, and matcha waffles had only the green color with same baking soda taste and no matcha flavor whatsoever. And to top it all, they charged us 20% service fees because we were 5 people (4 adults and 1 kids). I'm always happy to leave tips but only when we get good service from the beginning and waitress that tries to make it up for kitchen disasters instead of just showing up when it's time for the check. Used to be a great place, unfortunately I guess game made this lace greedy and careless about offering great customer experience and service.

Yelp
Stopped in for our first time yesterday for Saturday breakfast and we were all really impressed with the food taste, and quality. It is a bit expensive compared to other breakfast locations close by, but it does taste very good. We also ordered a fruity pebble waffle, and it was a bit sweeter and also delicious. Overall, this is a great breakfast location and I would recommend it to anyone. I think the pricing is a bit high, but we were all still glad that we chose this place for breakfast. I plan to be back in the near future.

Yelp
Food 10/10! The chicken is delicious and fresh and crunchy! Would come again! The salad was okay paired well with the chicken!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, fast and friendly service, a little noisy on the inside on a busy day but a nice patio on a warm day.
google avatar

Tawna S.

Yelp
Get here early because there will be a wait! Even on a Monday morning. We had waffles with sausage in them, amazing hashbrowns, and a latte. This is a great breakfast spot for families and/or large groups. Tables were moved around to accommodate another party of 7 when we were there. Great comfort food!
google avatar

Yelp
Love the food!! Love the service!!! Might have to wait a little but worth it! Place is a little small but it's worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
First time here. Friendly service from Nate, and tasty grub! Family liked the food, but we all felt it was overpriced for what we got. Breakfast was $17-24. Service was friendly, but likely wouldn't be back.

Yelp
Cute little corner spot with TERRIFIC WAFFLES!!!! Brown and crunchy on the outside light fluffy and soft on the inside! Delicious!!! Also ordered the veggie omelette and added bacon and it was seasoned to perfection! Coffee is great! People SUPER nice! Terrific playlist! Lots of outdoor seating (in the shade if you like.) little pricey but WORTH IT!!!

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast before leaving LA after universal studios. The waiter was very kind and fun, and he made sure to check in on us multiple times throughout the meal. The food was unbelievable, with the waffles being the best I ever had. Although the restaurant was smaller than I expected, the atmosphere was cozy and warm, with SpongeBob on the TV for the kids. Overall an excellent experience. 100% recommend!

Smriti G.

Yelp
Waffles are great and so is the service. Great food and great service. Perfect way to start your day.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute and cozy waffle shop in north hollywood. There are not many tables inside but there is also outside seating and luckily LA has nice weather most of the time. Prices were a bit steep but you can get half portions which was very helpful due to the large portions they do give. I tried their specialty iced coffee as well, although the description sounded sickeningly sweet, it was a delicious iced coffee I highly recommend. I would come back to & waffles anytime!

Yelp
This place was so good! Our server (I wish I remembered his name so I could give praise where it's due) was wonderful and helped us pick out everything we wanted. We came in so indecisive on this particular day but so hungry and no idea what we wanted. He gave us recommended the Fried chicken skillet but to add cilantro, jalapeños and grilled onions with a flour tortilla on the side and it absolutely did not disappoint. That was one of my favorite breakfast dishes I've had in a long time! We split a half waffle because the waffles here are HUGE! But they're so fluffy and airy I could've had a half all to myself. Delicious! It's a small space inside but it's cozy and very welcoming, I highly recommend this place for any time of the day because the best time for breakfast food is all the time.

Yelp
SERVICE First time and enjoyed. Located on the corner, metered street parking, and the staff was nice. Place was clean and I enjoyed the menu options. FOOD I actually enjoyed my food and thank God because it seems hard to find good places p particularly with chicken and waffles, which is what I ordered. The cajun fried chicken and waffles and really good. I could actually taste flavor in the food - Thank You! A lot of places serve the most bland chicken with their chicken and waffle combos. They too are usually dry, Anywho, w whye also ordered pancakes topped with fresh fruit. WELL I will definitely return and you should too!
google avatar

Roselia G.

Yelp
Delicious waffles and more! There's street meter parking, but there's also a little lot right behind the restaurant. It was full when we arrived, but we were lucky enough to find a meter spot right next to the patio area that still had an hour left. We decided to share the chicken wings and waffles. Everything was so good! We will definitely be back next time we're in the area, and it's not past 3pm, cuz that's when they close.

Anel G.

Yelp
Waffles, eggs, bacon, & coffee were delicious workers are friendly & our food arrived fast. Place is nice & clean. Can't wait to go back.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was cooked well, seasoned well with all the fixings one would wish for breakfast. Attentive staff for coffee refills which I loved, I was never empty. It was teamwork. Condiments on table which makes it easy. Eggs were my favorite nice and spongy not dry yay! The polish sausage was a hit I do have to say and the French toast which we all shared. Quick and family oriented small business. Place seemed clean and wiped down properly after each family which was nice to see.

Yelp
An absolute banger every single time. Best waffles, amazing chicken, and even better service. Thank you to the staff for never disappointing, and also want to special shoutout for Christian for setting an incredibly high standard for service.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times, and I'd say it's a good spot, though I have a few recommendations. On my first visit, I tried the Country Fried Steak Skillet, which was delicious but quite heavy. The waiter or possibly the restaurant owner unexpectedly gave us a free churro waffle, which I hadn't planned on ordering, but who can say no to free treats? That churro waffle was incredible--so good! On my second visit, we ordered the chorizo burrito, which I'd rate about 3.5/10. I've had better, but the churro waffle was still fantastic. Make sure to try that if you go! Weekends usually involve a long wait, but depending on your party size, we were lucky and got seated within 10-15 minutes with just two people.
