Andaman Sunflower Bungalows

The hosts are friendly and helpful and the garden, where the bungalows are located is very nice too. For me, unfortunately it was not the most comfortable experience: you hear absolutely everything in the bungalows (insects, birds, roosters, other guests, traffic from the road). Inside the bungalow it's really dark and there's only a fan. The mosquito net was helpful. The bathroom was not very clean (especially the sink and the mirror), had only cold water and no shelves to place items, so I had to put my toiletries bag on the floor, inside which I found a huge cocroach... It's near to the beach, but you have to walk further to go to the area, where you can swim. There is a 7 eleven, pharmacy and an international hospital nearby, so that's convenient. But apart from that, the location is nothing special. Plus, it's difficult to find it using Google Maps, you need to look for a sign instead, or ask locals. I guess overall, it's not a bad choice if you are looking for something extremely basic.

Friendly owner of the establishment and a tidy neat basic bungalows with a mosquito net. Was a great stay although some things might be uncomfortable for some, like roosters singing through all morning and no hot water. Price/quality ratio is great tho in my opinion. Living in the garden is very peaceful, comfy hamock and very comfortable bed.

It was an amazing experience, we loved the bungalows, and the roosters, and the conversations with the (very helpful) owners. The closeness to the beach was also awesome. We left two days ago and we miss it already!!!

They have overbooked our reservation, as an recompensation found us “similar” accommodation in neighborhood with much lower standard and view on the rubbish. We paid them by cash and after checking out lady from alternative place said that she never got any money, so for sure we will never recommend this place to anyone and post everywhere our opinion because we hate cheaters!!! 🛑 be careful otherwise you can ruin your holidays

I love travelling and stayed here 10 years ago. I just needed to return as it is one of the best places i ever stayed in. Beautiful location in a quiet garden. Only place i dont put in my earplugs to sleep. How amazing is it to wake up with the sound of birds and nature. Room is very clean, it is cleaned on a daily base. Sleeping in an authentic bamboo bungalow is just amazing. Wifi is perfect. Food is on demand and of the highest quality. The owners are just so friendly and help you with your needs : transport, rent of a safe motorbike, local cooking class,.... thank you norman and noo x

It's a really neat idea to stay in authentic bungalows, but you can hear your neighbors cough all night and the roosters and chickens at all times of the night as they are free on the property. Also, you only get a large beach towel as a blanket, which isn't long enough to cover your feet. We had the fan going and didn't realize with the wind it created, it made the mosquito net not sit flush against our bed, so we got a lot of bites the first night. The next couple nights we tucked in the corners, which worked great. It's only a short walk from the beach and it has nice hammock on the balcony to relax on. Though a morning black coffee there is 120B, which just seems too expensive for where we were staying. Nice owners though.

We stayed at Adaman Sunflower Resort Feb.13-16 for 4 nights. We enjoyed everything about the resort: great Central location on the island, very short walk to the Long Beach, jungle/ garden setting away from the road and it's noise. These are authentic bamboo bungalows, with comfortable bed, beautiful private bathroom with spacious shower, big front porch with hammock and lounger. The owner is very nice, you can have nice chat and learn about local life. You can also buy breakfast and dinner as stylish restaurant is located within this resort. We will definitely come back and recommend this accommodation to everyone looking for authentic island experience. Thank you💜💚 Aga

Very poor service, as you can see, they know how to answer here - where everyone is seeing but if we are trying to reach them through WhatsApp and demand explanation there is no answer, I am not recommending this place to anyone, otherwise you would like to be ignored and get accommodation which you have not paid for then you are free to go.
