Andaz Napa

"Andaz likes to blur the line between home and away, so imagine you’ve come home to Napa, downtown and walkable. Rooms are loft-like with hardwood floors and other beloved contemporary touches. Mercantile Social for cocktails and Farmers Table for heartier fare get high marks as does the smooth service."

"With dark walls, natural wood accents, and red curtains in front of the elevators, the trend-setting Andaz hotel feels like more of a scene than any other property in downtown Napa. In the center of downtown Napa, the hotel is mere steps from restaurants, shops, and arguably Napa’s best pub: the Norman Rose Tavern. On check-in, all guests over 21 receive a complimentary glass of red or white wine. The swanky vibe continues into the 141 guest rooms, where hardwood hickory floors complement white marble bathrooms and midcentury modern furniture. The most convivial space in the hotel is the Mercantile Terrace, a second-story roof deck with a full bar menu and fire pits, a favorite of couples and business travelers alike. The lounge is operated by Mercantile Social, the restaurant in the lobby that serves small-plate food items and cocktails; it also books live acoustic music sets a few nights a week. (And Mercantile Social sponsors free wine tastings daily.) If you haven’t had enough wine, fear not—on site are two tasting rooms from the wine empire built by Napa native John Anthony Truchard: John Anthony and JaM Cellars."

Amazing birthday stay for my first time in Napa. I booked with Hyatt Privé. I stayed in the king bed loft. It was very roomy and the natural light from the windows filled the room. I also had a cutest view of the main street in downtown napa. The breakfast here is amazing! You cannot miss the farmer's table. Service is amazing all throughout my stay. I also loved the outdoor bar. The location is lovely and there are many walking distance things to do.

First time staying in Downtown Napa and at the Andaz. Wonderful hotel but what is really impressive is the customer service. Everyone, from valet to the guys at check in, barmen at the Mercantile, the waiters at breakfast, everyone without exception was great and made us feel special. The hotel is really pretty and the rooms are amazingly comfortable. The location is unbeatable. We had to wait for our room because the previous guests had a late check out, but they really made sure we were taken care of. Can't wait to go back!

We have visited Napa Valley multiple times, and wanted to try different accommodations each time (B&Bs, at winery, downtown Healdsburg, etc). This is the second time downtown Napa, and found that we liked the convenience of being able to walk to the restaurants and shops. 🤔. We are still on the fence of whether we preferred the convenience more than historic ambience of other locations though.||For ANDAZ Napa resort, we find the biggest draw is the location. Walkable to everything was nice. The hotel has a small bar as you walk in, and have live music on the weekend nights we were there. The service was very accommodating and even upgraded us to a junior suite. The suite itself was roomy, with a bathtub and fireplace. However, it was odd that there was NO dresser space. Inside the closet was 2 small shelves for clothing. So we mostly had to leave our clothes in our suitcase. Also, our room overlooked the Terrace Bar which had loud music until 10 pm. So if you are an early sleeper, make sure you ask for a room facing away from the Terrace. The food in the restaurant was very good, but expensive. Breakfast for 2, without alcohol, was over $130.||Another note, if you prefer to self park (included in the daily rate) instead of Valet, make sure you go to the valet stand and get a parking tag. Also, You can park your car in the front while you check before you self park behind the hotel in a public parking garage.||All-in-All, it was a pleasant stay here at ANDAZ. But don’t know if it’s for everyone.

First time staying in Downtown Napa and at the Andaz, we loved it! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are super comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. From the valet and front desk team to the bartender at the Mercantile and the breakfast servers—every single staff member was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely special. Although we had a short wait for our room due to a late check-out by previous guests, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of during that time. The only small thing worth mentioning is that there was no body lotion provided in the bathroom, which felt a bit surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Everything else was amazing and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Google
Loved staying here. When you check in they give you a delicious glass of wine. The hotel is beautiful. They have a breakfast area. They don't have other amenities like other hotels so don't come here expecting that. Andaz is in the center of downtown so you can walk around and wine taste or eat at all the delicious restaurants around. I enjoyed my stay there.

Google
Hotels these days are hit or miss. Service is typically lacking or clueless, the concierge/front desk is an app, there's far too much noise, and your towels are always damp. But not at the Andaz. Great experience. Service was great and the facilities were posh and comfortable. Plus it's a great location. Second floor outdoor bar was a perfect spot for a nightcap, and the breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Andaz is still on its game. The only complaint is the sneaky $32 facilities fee, which pays for those nice check-in perks like a free glass of wine. so much for being a perk.

Google
There’s a lot to like about this hotel. It’s stylish and attractive, and when you check in they give you a welcome glass of wine and a complementary refillable water bottle. The location is good and there’s complementary parking in the public garage behind the property. Rooms are spacious. That said, it was very hard to get a good night of sleep here. The pillows are AWFUL (and we called housekeeping to ask for some different options, but they were all basically the same). If you have a room that overlooks the second floor bar, it’s LOUD. The bar is supposed to close at 9 but it still doesn’t get quiet for a while. And then the A/C unit in the room comes on like every two minutes and is also loud. Bottom line, if you must stay here, bring earplugs. And your own pillow. Also, another weird thing is that there’s no lotion in the bathroom. This is the first time I’ve ever stayed in a hotel that didn’t provide lotion. We had to go to CVS and buy some.

Google
Our stay at Andaz Napa was fantastic. The staff greeted us with the kind of friendliness that makes you wonder if they’ve secretly read your Yelp reviews and decided you were worth the effort. We didn’t check out the restaurant or bar—mostly because we were too busy eating and sipping our way through the region like two very determined food tourists. The self-parking was a dream: easy, convenient, and refreshingly drama-free. All in all, a comfy and stylish launchpad for our wine-fueled escapades.

Yelp
This is such a lovely hotel! Excellent rooms! Great location! I arrived at 2am and texted the hotel to put some yogurt in my fridge and it was done and amazing!! Such friendly and helpful folks, even at 2am! A think they should reconsider calling the hotel "a concept" though. They have way more than the concept of a plan!!

Yelp
Came here for a one-night stay with my boyfriend. We were incredibly surprised at how wonderful this hotel was as I had been torn between booking this or another one in the area. I booked through booking.com. When we first arrived, we were immediately greeted by one of the staff members and directed to the check in counter where a woman helped get us squared away. As she was doing so, the gentleman that led us to the desk gave us each a welcome glass of wine and a complimentary tote bag with two bottles of water. All people involved in our check-in were not only friendly but also made the whole process seem personable and comfortable. They sent us up to our room which we were surprised that we were seemingly upgraded to a junior suite which was room 215. It was right off the elevators to the right but was not too noisy which we appreciated from the get-go. Everything in the room felt luxurious and incredibly clean. We took advantage of utilizing the bathtub and using the fireplace the entire time we were there. The best part of this hotel I would have to say beyond the amazing staff and rooms was the walkability and central location the Andaz has. We had no problem finding street parking as it felt closer than using their free garage behind the hotel. We walked around the town for our meals from the hotel and it was lovely during this time of year. If you're having any interest in staying in Napa, I highly suggest booking here at Andaz. Incredible service, luxurious rooms, and walkability are what you can expect here and nothing less!

Yelp
Andaz Napa was the very first Andaz property we ever stayed at. And our first impression of it was what made us fans for life. The first time we stayed here was 10 years ago, shortly after they recovered from the earthquake in August '14. We have never heard of the brand before then and after that great stay, we decided to stay at other locations (Andaz Maui is our home away from home!) A couple of weeks ago, we needed a last minute spot to stay overnight and of course....of course, we had to stay here! And because our last stay was so wonderful, our expectation was very high. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed this time around. But because we were there only for the night, I didn't think too much of it. However, when we checked out the next morning, I decided to express my disappointment to the manager. That interaction, along with how those concerns were addressed went beyond my expectations! Andaz Napa is now an older hotel, and I'm glad management has recognized this and are looking to updating the property in the near future. Additionally, it makes me happy that the customer service remains top notch. We are looking forward to returning to check out the new and improved hotel in the near future!

Yelp
We had a nice stay at the Andaz Napa last week. In terms of location, you can't get more ideal. When you walk out of the front doors of the hotel, you're in the middle of picturesque downtown Napa, footsteps from restaurants, tasting rooms, shopping, etc. We stayed in the Tower Suite -- it was a large room on the top floor with high vaulted ceilings, a separate living space, a soaking tub, wrap-around windows, etc. We self parked in the garage behind the hotel, and the elevator was broken... not the greatest for luggage, but that's the price we paid to skip valet! The overall stay was nice, but there were a few minor pain points that surprised me. First, our bathroom trash can was full from the previous occupant. We alerted the front desk and it was remedied quickly, but it did make me wonder what else housekeeping may have skipped over in between guests. Second, the climate control was struggling... it may have been the vaulted ceilings, but it was still uncomfortably warm even set at the lowest temp. Last, we tried to use our room credit on the Mercantile Terrace, and I was told they did not have stock of the one wine I wanted to order on the terrace. The bartender made it sound like there may have been stock... somewhere... just not on the terrace. I would have gladly walked downstairs and ordered there if that would have been an offered solution, but it wasn't. We came, we saw, and I think we both agree Napa isn't it for us... so we likely won't be back, but that has nothing to do with the hotel. We generally have nice stays at Hyatt properties, and will patronize others in the future!

Yelp
close to everything and with a secure lot right behind. A great little spot to stay if you are in downtown Napa. There are lots of wineries/tasting rooms close by. Rooms are clean and service is very friendly. They even give a little complimentary bottle and give you a credit to the little rooftop bar upstairs. Self-parking is free as well, which is great! And the best part is, Andaz is part of Hyatt so you can use your points here!

Yelp
Location, location, location - Andaz Napa in downtown Napa. This spot steps away from world-class wine tasting rooms, restaurants, boutique shopping, art museums, The Napa Valley Opera House, Uptown Theater, and more. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The level of service is top-notch. We're always able to easily check bags. The restaurant's food is unique. I love this spot in Napa.

Yelp
This is a nice hotel in downtown Napa on 1st St right in the middle of everything, walking distance to great restaurants and cafes. The room is a little small but the bed and pillows are very comfortable. Free parking in the back of the hotel and at checking in you get glasses of red wine.

Yelp
Seriously, the best hotel ever. My husband and I got engaged to the Archer and it holds a sweet spot in our heart, stayed there in December, the customer service and vibe were completely off. We will always just stay at the Andaz's, the price, the service, the rooms are unbeatable. Do notpass go just stay at the Andaz.

Yelp
I love this place! The food is delicious, the location is perfect for walking and exploring and the rooms are nice and roomy! We stayed here for a family weekend trip recently and it was so fun! My kids loved it and didn't want to go home! There are so many stores and restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend staying.

Yelp
This hotel is very nice. We stayed in the Andaz Junior suite with terrace. Terrace was large with a table and chairs as well as lounge chairs. It looks over downtown. Only downfall is that you cannot see over the terrace wall from the lounge chairs. Soaker tub is HUGE! The fireplace was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast/lunch recommendation: PETITE SOLIEL! Just across the street from the parking garage. Owner is friendly. Cafe has a fun vibe with friendly staff and the food was delicious! Parking: self parking garage is behind the hotel on Clay street. Must park on 2nd or 3rd floor. Elevator was out of service during our stay.

Yelp
Great location in downtown Napa. Lots of restaurants, bars, wine tastings etc nearby. They also have a full bar and restaurant. Breakfast was excellent! In the afternoon they had wine tastings in bar, lobby area. Also happy hour at the 2nd floor terrace, which is a great outdoor space with full bar. (Not sure about parking as we took Uber from SF) We stayed in a junior suite on the 5th floor, overlooking the terrace. Loved the room. Big space, perfect for remote work for 2 people. Staff is super super friendly and nice. Actually, everyone we've met in Napa just seems super nice!!! Such a great relaxing feeling. Hotel is pretty quiet. Very much like downtown Napa itself. So, sounds like a perfect stay! I definitely recommend this hotel.

Yelp
This is a Hyatt Property Category 6, so what could be wrong? Well....... Having never been to Napa and needing an honest break from my routine, this destination and the bonus of a Hyatt hotel and using all of my points, seemed to be perfect! Valet parking was a breeze with the valets consistently friendly, great conversation and great attitudes. Check in was easy and I went to my room with 2 bottles of water and a glass of Cabernet. My Junior Suite was on the 5th floor where the hallways were uncomfortably dark and smelled quite musty. Entering my Junior Suite, I was less than impressed with the very used furniture, including the couch. I had balcony doors that could be opened for much needed fresh air, but as soon as I pulled the sheer drapes back to access the doors, I immediately could feel the dirt left on the drapes and could easily see the numerous tears and yellow stains. I quickly shut the sheers and went to the bathroom to thoroughly wash my grungy hands. Between the drapes and the sad furniture, I had no reason to use my "sitting room." The attached bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable king bed, enough pillows and a deep soaking tub began changing my mind about the room, even though the old and much used furniture continued. Then I checked out the attached bathroom. Nice big marble shower with rain head initially caught my eye, but then caught my eye in a negative way. The grout needed a good cleaning both in and out of the shower as well as the floors. I had to stand on a towel to take my showers. And then there was the barn door that separated the bathroom from the bedroom. Impossible to move, so any privacy didn't exist. Over the 3 days, I was only in my room to sleep, shower, and change clothes. Then the unexpected happened on day #3. Following the weather, I learned that my way home was going to be impacted by a then predicted good dumping of snow, and I was stuck! I emailed the hotel, explaining my situation and requested a discounted room rate for the following 2 nights, either in the same room or a lesser room. I was informed by "Keith" that the best they could offer in their multi vacancy hotel was to go online and rebook a room using the Hyatt Member's rate. No discount at all! I have been a loyal Hyatt member for more years than I can remember, and the Member's rate was all they could offer? I'll definitely remember your "courtesy" in the future, Hyatt! Needless to say, I found another nice hotel for considerably less for the next weather impacted 3 days! Sitting in the second hotel, I received a "How Was Your Stay?" from Hyatt. I answered honestly, and have received no communication from Hyatt to this day, even though I gave Hyatt permission to contact me about "How they did." I loved Napa, and will definitely return, but not to the Andaz. Such a disappointment. Friends and I had already booked a week in Nashville at the Grand Hyatt for the end of Spring. Unable to change at this point, hopefully will enjoy a better stay there than at Andaz. I had booked the stay with full confidence in Hyatt. Now.....??? Hyatt, this is where you try to make it right with a long time customer, if you care about retention.

Yelp
The accommodations at the Andaz Napa are quite enjoyable. The rooms are elegantly designed with a modern aesthetic, featuring plush, comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities - including Tully's coffee which I love. I am not sure I would recommend a room on the street if you want to sleep in, it gets a little noisy. One of the highlights is the happening bar. They have a decent wine by the glass list, I can be a bit of a wine snob. I had an Espresso Martini, which was delicious. They have a "special" Irish cream they use. I will say the bartenders are not super fast. I waited about 10 minutes to get acknowledged. In their defense, it was an active night, but they are not super efficent. For some reason, they make lots of trips to some back room down the hall for more glasses and products. They could use a lean management consultant for sure. The hotel frequently hosts talented local musicians, creating an atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for sure. When came in from dinner around 10pm, the lobby and bar was happening. The pictures I snapped were from earlier in the evening, prior to leaving for dinner.

Yelp
My stay was amazing I came for a postponed birthday celebration. I was upgraded to a loft, my room was very spacious and had the bedroom separated by a fire place a small living area with a view of the other side of the fire place and mini fridge. The bathroom was large and had a sliding door. The bar was beautiful, outside with quality liquor and very friendly staff. The restaurant downstairs had great breakfast. The hotel is the heart of downtown Napa and it's a great area to walk around in.

Great location for downtown Napa to enjoy wune tasting and shopping. Angie the bartender was great , and Samantha at check in was amazing , very helpful with letting us know things to do in the area and places to eat . Thank you!!!

Yelp
The Andaz in Napa offers a luxurious experience with its stylish decor and spacious rooms. The staff is attentive, and the amenities, including the rooftop terrace and on-site restaurant, contribute to a memorable stay. It's in the perfect location right off of first street making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. There's a nice bar and restaurant located in level 2 at the restaurant.

Yelp
As Hyatts go, this was a disappointment. Small room, no fitness center, and worst of all, I was charged over $400 for a room I booked with points. Two weeks later, still no refund. This doesn't hold a candle to Andaz Maui, which is the only other Andaz I have stayed at, but I have stayed at many Hyatt properties. But I would not stay here again. The live entertainment was good, the food was good - when made right, and the location is great. The drain in the bathroom sink was rusty, the picture on the wall in the bathroom was crooked and I lightly nudged it to straighten it and it fell off. I was eventually able to get it back up, still crooked. There was an obvious hastily done repair to a part of the wall near the floor, outside the shower. First try of eggs Benedict, the egg was almost hard boiled. Same breakfast two days in a row was entirely different one day to the next.

Yelp
I'm giving this 4 stars only because I'm here on points , during off-season and with Globalist status. Pros: - We were upgraded to a terrace suite which was spacious. It was raining, so we didn't get to use the outdoor space. - No gym BUT they partner with Heath Quest for free passes. This gym is great and has all the machines plus a myriad of classes. If you didn't drive, they will comp you Uber / Lyft. We took a great yoga class this am. - I love their Malin + Goetz conditioner. - Located in the heart of downtown so easy to walk to Blue Note, ton of tasting rooms and restaurants - Nice staff - I appreciate their effort to move to aluminum bottles. Cons: - This hotel is definitely showing its age. - Construction started at 8am each morning. - The a/c seems to shut off midway through the night. - The terrace suit overlooks the outdoor dining space and if they're holding an event (eg game night) you'll hear everything. - Farmers Table food for breakfast was expensive and super underwhelming - I had the omelet which was average and chilequiles was disappointing -- since it's comped, I can't complain BUT I also would not pay $20++ for this food (my friend's avo toast looked gorgeous but had minimal avo on it but her salmon Benedict at nearly $30 was excellent)

Yelp
Prime strip in Downtown Napa! Such a vibe, all the feels! Loved everything about this place and location. The room was one of the top 3 rooms I've ever stayed in. It was such a great getaway, I wished we stayed longer. The room had its own patio, hot tub and fireplace! So romantic, and even a little living room with its own balcony too! In the lobby, there was live music, and on the top floor was it's own bar area/rooftop. The food was delicious and on our way out we stopped at the little bakery and had their waffle. The lady was so sweet! She packed our food to go so neatly and gave us coffee to go! Talk about service, we'll deff come back!

Yelp
Absolutely incompetent customer service. Rooms are loud, small and overpriced. Bathroom door is like a barn door
google avatar

Bo L.

Yelp
Double charged for not showing up and horrible customer service A bit background: I have always been a loyal Hyatt customer and am a globalist. With what happened now, I don't think I ever want to frequent a Hyatt hotel again. I've booked a room on 6/18 with my free night award (category 1-7). However, I was not able to make it. In addition to having paid for the room with my free night award, the hotel decided to charge me $344 no show fee and refused to refund it when I called. The property manager insisted that this is the hotel policy because I did not cancel, even though the room has been paid for with the free night award. I'm just shocked how ridiculous this is. Had I shown up, I would have been charged nothing. Now not showing up for the reservation has cost me a free night award plus $344. This reflects the level of customer care that goes at this property and I strongly recommend everyone to stay away from this property.

Lily W.

Yelp
Pros: great location/walkable, friendly staff, large room/bathroom (had a 2 king bed suite) , robes and slippers available Cons: expensive rates, limited amenities, aging rooms, no-cash hotel (ie: not able to get change to tip) and a woman's personal pet peeve.. no outlets near mirrors. Did not dine in Andaz, but did dine down the street at Charlie Palmer Steakhouse (yum!) in the Archer Hotel for dinner. For similar rate$, will try a stay at the Archer next time.

Yelp
This hotel is ver conveniently located in the heart of downtown. You can walk to all of the restaurants, wineries and shops. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Oxbow Market. The location is perfect. Excellent Globalist recognition and I was upgraded to a Junior Suite. We also received a gift bag (to put wine bottles), two glasses of wine upon check in and some snacks. Staff was very friendly.

Yelp
This goes for the service delivered by both Hyatt Andaz at this location and the credit card company. Being a Hyatt member who frequently uses their services, my fiancé and I thought that we would at least get optimal service with being a member. This is a one time cancellation that we urgently needed to have since we ended up having a family medical emergency. We booked in advance, several months out, and were even willing to lose a couple of hundred for their "deposit", but when you book, they take your whole amount rather than a deposit for a couple of hundred dollars, so we had no option but to pay full price. Per Hyatt credit card, we had to ask the property for their word in whether or not we would be partially refunded or even given credit back to use at another state. Still, here we are with no answers, basically taking in the whole $1500 amount and not even being able to make it. The fine print clearly states that if "there are unforeseen circumstances due to medical emergency you can get credited back or a refund up to the amount charged." We are just normal people asking for our hard-earned money back and truthfully due to a medical circumstance. These are money hungry people that won't budge, and keep repeating themselves saying "it's non-refundable." Okay, so then give us the credit back so we can find a different date that is suitable when we can use it. This property will do nothing except take your money once you book. No hearts or thought process. All they see is money. Funny thing is, the people deciding whether it's refundable or aren't even the ones who physically have the money, so what is it to them? You'd think a place known for their prestigious customers would help this one time. Horrible service. Cold-hearted people. You cannot take your money with you to the next life.

Yelp
Took a minimoon overnight here and loved it. We had a junior suite and it was incredible. Huge bathtub, rain shower, decent tv, and electric fireplace. The bed was comfy and they have blackout blinds. Really nice smelling soaps and such. There is a parking garage behind the hotel that you can self park or they will valet your car. (Put in the garage address if you're driving because Napa has some one way streets. Park on 3rd floor for overnight! They will give you a parking pass when checking in if you self park). We could walk all around downtown from the hotel which was awesome. Everyone that worked there was super nice and happy to answer my questions. Had a cocktail at the second floor bar which was a nice atmosphere and not busy at 5:30 when we got there. Had brunch at the restaurant on the ground floor and it was awesome. Had the gf meat omelette and a (jk 2) mimosa with light grapefruit juice ( ) and my husband did bacon and toast and we were both super happy. I would stay here again for sure. The lovely person that checked us out told us they will be doing a renovation late 2023 so I'm looking forward to seeing what they do.

Yelp
I've had the opportunity to stay at this property a few times now. I will say my first visit was a rocky one, but the staff went ahead and made it right eventually. On my last stay we paid for an upgrade and we're very happy we did. The soaking tub was a good size, the mattress was very comfortable. I wish the balcony had a little more room, but having a door to open up to step outside and take in the city view in the evening was nice. Lobby is area is okay, and self parking is minimal, but this comes with the area of the property being located in the city. Good eateries walking and biking distance for those who want to do something along those lines.

Yelp
If the rating were only for the staff, five stars, and I almost went there just because of the staff; they were incredibly nice and helpful from check in to check out. For example, one of their bartenders is named Eric, and I asked him for a particular cocktail I like that I knew is not only a bit of a pain, but requires certain ingredients not many bars have. I even told him up front that I'd be completely fine with some other options if he couldn't make it. He not only made it happen, but he had to run down to their inside bar (we were up on the 2nd floor terrace) to find one of the ingredients. Where I really wanted to go three stars, but just couldn't because of the staff, was availability of services and overall amenities for a property in the price range of this one. With taxes and fees, one of my nights was over $700, and this is at a property with no pool, no hot tub, no spa, no gym, bars that have fairly limited hours, and parking that is questionable, all while including a "resort" fee. This is basically a hotel in a great location, it is not a resort; giving me two bottles of water at check in does not make it a resort. That being said, great rooms, and a massive amount of walkable bars, restaurants, activities, and entertainment. So, chances are you'll spend most of your time enjoying Napa, and not at the expensive hotel. Personally, I'd recommend Sky & Vine rooftop bar at the Archer hotel a few blocks down the street, Wilfred's Tiki Bar a few blocks past that, and Los Agaves perhaps a total of a mile away. Do that as a pub crawl and you're in for a great day!

Yelp
Came here Friday morning . We paid premium price for this hotel . Room nice two king size beds . The bathroom door is horrible. Sliding door . Room smells of air freshener . It was coming out from the air condition fan . We told the staff they totally ignored our complaint . They do not clean our room we have to take the garbage can outside and also keep towels outside . Have to ask for towels and toiletries . For this kind of price do not ever want to come here again .

Yelp
One of my favorite hotels in Napa. The entrance and lobby is open, with easy check in station and bar with TVs and lots of seating when you walk in. Rooms are spacious but cozy with fireplace and tub. The rooftop lounge has a great vibe - definitely check it out!

Yelp
Avoid rooms on the back side of the building. We were initially given a room that faced the parking garage. At $500 a night? No thanks. They moved us to 230 which is by the front corner. It doesn't have a fireplace but who cares. The fixtures are a little worn in places and the rooms need a serious USB upgrade. They are limited to the alarm clock on the nightstand. The big tub is great and there is a fridge, coffee maker and safe in the closet. Big, comfy bed. Nice sitting area to relax.

Yelp
I'm a big Hyatt and Andaz fan but this one is not meeting the expectations. Frontend checkin was quick but many important informations weren't provided. Room though is good enough, good for business or casual trip.

Yelp
Stayed here for one night & the service was great. The inside of our suite was very spacious & the location (in the middle of downtown Napa) is perfect for walking outside, looking at the multiple boutiques, or grabbing dinner. There's no gym or pool amenities, which is a shame since the weather was perfect for a dip when we went. At the front of the hotel are lots of deals ran by wineries or Napa stores for Andaz residents, so make sure to check those out! My only con was that we were a bit confused regarding the credit given to us ($15 credit for food or drink within the hotel, allegedly). We tried to redeem this for breakfast at Andaz Farmers Table, but were told that it was only available at night time. Regardless, we continued to purchase breakfast in the hotel ($24 for a the Meat Lovers Omelet with the breakfast potatoes...) The Mercantile Terrace (dinner location within the hotel) was closed both days we were there, so the only way we would have been able to redeem this would have been a cocktail or other drink at the Mercantile Social. A bummer, since the breakfast miiiiiight have been reasonably priced had we gotten our food credit.

Yelp
Finally decided to reach out to general manager after a week of no follow-up. Exchanged emails with Eric Fink who I have to say owned the issue and made a good faith effort to address the issues without being asked. So my opinion has somewhat changed and would consider Andaz in the future but first reach out to Eric to understand exactly what we are getting both with size and quality of room. Hopefully room 228 was an anomaly.

Yelp
This is a very nice hotel in a great location. I had a giant corner room with a comfortable bed, big shower, big tub with a view, and more TVs than I could watch all at once. Deducting one star for them having a "destination fee" of $34.50. They can't call it a "resort fee" because there are no resort amenities here, like a pool, spa, or newspaper. I suppose since I arrived there, I technically reached a destination. So maybe there's a fee for that. Deducting another star for them trying to overcharge me about $65 at checkout. I'm a top-tier Hyatt Globalist, which means after staying in enough crappy Hyatt Houses and that vile Palm Springs Hyatt over the past couple years, I'm supposed to get free breakfast and no "destination fees." Resolving that took a while. Deducting another star for seeing a separate, unauthorized charge for $34.50 on my credit card and having to call them, get forwarded through the telephone press-a-number tree 3 times, and finally ensure that -- you guessed it -- "Destination Fee" was removed, again. It's sad to see such a nice place marred by such ineptitude.

Yelp
My girlfriends and I had just finished having dinner downtown and opted to visit the Mercantile Terrace to have some post-dinner cocktails. To our dismay, Mercantile was closed early, however, the lobby bar remained open. Despite the situation, we elected to stay due to the relaxed ambiance, rustic-chic decorum, and welcoming staff. Our beverages were exquisitely prepared and served to us. Although our initial intention was to enjoy the outdoor environment, we discovered a snug seating area where my companions and I could converse leisurely while sipping our beverages. Nevertheless, we were somewhat perplexed by an additional 5% charge identified only as a county/industry fee (in conjunction with all other taxes/fees). Other than this extra charge and the Mercantile being closed early, we had no complaints.

Yelp
Disappointed in management at Andaz Napa. Asked to speak with a manager about my upcoming reservation, celebrating my 50th birthday in Napa, and the manager declined instead simply relaying unfortunate information through the front line associate. What's ironic is the front line associate did a great job listening and confirming her understanding and then turned to leadership and leadership dropped the ball. Feels like that's the state of hospitality recently - I hope for the best and unfortunately they continue to under delivering. This will be my first and last stay at Andaz. Back to the Archer Hotel I go.

Yelp
Was there tonight on terrace level. Normally one of my favorite places. Tonight was bad service from bar to Manager. The Pinot Noir was so warm you couldn't drink it. The response from staff was they leave it out in heat so you can put ice cubes in it. It's a $22 glass of Bouchaine. It's was undrin

Yelp
We visited downtown Napa this morning in search of brunch and received a recommendation to try Andaz. The ambiance was fantastic, and our server, Merrick, provided excellent recommendations. I ordered the chilaquiles, while my friend chose the avocado toast with salmon, and neither of us were disappointed. Merrick was very attentive and made us feel exceptionally welcome. 10/10 experience--thank you!

My Hubby brought me here for my Birthday, I was amazed at the warmth of the lobby and everyone was so nice. They offered us a glass of wine and gave us an upgrade on our room. Yelp
Came here for a wine trip and had a great stay. Check in was smooth and we were provided complimentary Cabernet. Very nice hotel and it was clean and quiet. We had a Jr suite which was amazing. Definitely recommend and will return in the future.

Yelp
We had a great time during our stay here the past couple of days. My husband, kids and I booked a junior suite and a connecting king room so we would have enough space for all 4 of us. It was perfect! Check in was a breeze. We parked in their loading zone and unloaded our bags and ended up finding parking on the street. They do have a parking structure in the back of the hotel room and the 3rd/ 4th floor reserved for hotel guests. The restaurants on site were closed due to SIP but they did have grab and go available. The location of this hotel is perfect. You are right in middle of downtown Napa. A lot of the restaurants are within walking distance. There's a cooperfield bookstore right across the street, Annette's chocolates (love!), Napastak, Maker's market are all within a block or so away. It's perfect. I do have one con and there is no pool or gym onsite. Everything else is perfect! Oh and shout out to Barbara at their bar/grab and go section. She was so friendly and really elevated our stay with her positivity. Thanks Barbara! We enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend Andaz.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Napa. Perfect location to explore local shops, restaurants and bars. I was impressed by the room, nicer than I had expected. Definitely would stay here again on our next trip back. Bar in the lobby seems to be the place to go, I think many places close earlier and everyone ends up here. Live guitar was a nice touch too.

Yelp
Great hotel with unique theme. I tried the green smoothie at the Indulge was good. And late night bar was friendly.

Yelp
Superior service from the time you check in to the time you leave. I would recommend staying here whenever you're in wine country.

Yelp
Update review! I came back to Andaz to celebrate my son birthday and the hotel managers and staffs really brought their A game! Not only was the staff really kind and attend to our requests, but received a personal greeting from the manager Eric Fink, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was much better than previous with a massive upgrade, and it did not disappoint! Alongside thoughtful amenities and general comfort, he made sure efficient staff excel every personal attention during our stay! It really did exceeded our expectations! Special recognition to Eric Fink, the hotel manager, who really showed they care about feedbacks and their loyal Hyatt guests.Highly recommend and will definitely return soon
