I really need to update my impression of this hotel. It has outstanding facilities but is increasingly let down by poor service. Standards have been slipping week by week. Staff often appear unmotivated, and even simple requests such as extending a stay by one night are brushed off without effort. Check-in is unnecessarily slow, and billing errors are the rule rather than the exception — invoices almost never come out right the first time. Even being asked to sign credit card slips for Apple Pay authorizations feels outdated and unnecessary, especially when card details are already submitted via Hyatt bookings. These are operational basics that a hotel of this category should handle flawlessly.
On the positive side, the property itself remains excellent. Rooms are top-notch across every category, breakfast is outstanding, and the gym is very well equipped. The food is another highlight, with Chef Libor consistently going the extra mile. Unfortunately, service in the restaurants is inconsistent: some waiters deliver professional 5-star service, while others fall far short — sadly, all too common in Prague.
Overall, this hotel could easily be the best in the city, but only if management starts addressing its glaring service shortcomings.
