Andaz Savannah, by Hyatt

I had a lovely stay at the Andaz Savannah! The hotel is in a beautiful part of the city, walkable to everything, and with thoughtful design features in the lobby and rooms. I received a generous Globalist suite upgrade to the Ellis Square Suite, with a beautiful view out to the square and of the rooftops of city. The bed was SO comfortable and I loved sitting on the sofa, looking out to the square and just watching the action go by. The table in the room was perfect for getting some work done and the free snacks and drinks were so appreciated. I didn’t have a chance to use the pool but it looked so pretty! The breakfast was delicious and Josiah was an incredible server. Highly recommend a stay here!

This hotel is in the perfecctttt location - right between the river and Broughton St where there are tons of shops and restaurants. All of the staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful when we had questions, including the valet staff (Ervin was so kind!). The rooms were very clean and modern. They had a sound machine in the room which was awesome for being right downtown on a Saturday night. Our favorite amenity was their free cruiser bikes - we just had to sign a waiver and we could take them for as long as we wanted! We rode them to Forsyth park and it was so much fun! They also have a fire pit on the terrace and offer s’mores from 6-10 every night! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!

Andaz is convenient. The lobby is welcoming - meaning I enjoy sitting there to enjoy a meal and drinks. The bar is nice. Food is well prepared and delicious. Every time I stay the food is consistent and I appreciate that. The rooms are okay. The bathroom in some rooms need some attention as I see some "aging". I like the location as it lends itself to nice walking around for anything you need. Overall a very good place to stay.

First stay at the Andaz Savannah and it was fabulous! Communication prior to our stay was spot on and the front desk personnel were kind and informative about local dining options. The location can’t be beat and is walkable to many attractions and Riverstreet. Our room was on the smaller side but was clean and well appointed. The valet, Ervin, was great! Highly recommend using the Valet service instead of the parking garage! All around 5 star Hyatt.

We had a great experience at Andaz Savannah. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, which made a positive first impression. The hotel is in a convenient spot with plenty to do nearby; we were able to walk to the riverfront and explore the Christmas market, which was a nice touch during our stay. Our room was on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, and nicely designed. It overlooked the terrace, which had a pleasant pool area and a fire pit, and the hotel provided fun extras like s’mores kits in the evening, which added a nice, cozy element to the stay. Room also included some complimentary snacks and Coke products, which was nice. One downside was parking—valet is expensive, and the suggested parking deck was full for most of our stay. We had to pay for a nearby deck for a few hours before finding free street parking in a nearby neighborhood. Overall, the combination of a great location, comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and thoughtful amenities made this a solid choice. I would return for another stay.

This is a really nice Hotel, the staff was great always smiling! Irving, our valet that parked our vehicle for us was the most outgoing person we met there. He really helped us out and took the time and talked and made us feel very welcome to his city. Our room was very nice and clean! Breakfast was really good, the Grits was the Bomb!

This is our second Excellent stay in the heart of the city! The location right on Ellis Square is unbeatable—we walked everywhere. I loved the modern, chic vibe and the complimentary snacks and drinks in the room. The rooftop pool area is a great spot to relax with a cocktail. Every staff member we met was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

The level of cleanliness immediately stood out — it was clear that housekeeping takes great care in maintaining the rooms. From the moment I opened the door, the room condition exceeded my expectations. The high ceilings made the space feel open, bright, and very comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly and greeted us warmly, which made the stay even more pleasant. The location is truly perfect — everything is easily walkable, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. I chose street parking instead of valet and had no trouble finding spots nearby, though I would recommend arriving earlier on weekends. I had hoped to stay on a higher floor, but it was fully booked, so I stayed on the second floor. This was my only minor disappointment, as the view from the window faced a construction area when opened. That said, it did not impact the overall comfort of the stay. As for noise, there was some street noise late at night (around 11 p.m. to midnight) from people outside, but it was mild and not disruptive. Earplugs are thoughtfully provided, and even as someone sensitive to noise, I slept well. There was no noise from neighboring rooms or floors. Being in a lively area, some late-night sounds are expected, but it was never a major issue. I personally value a clean, fresh-smelling hotel, and this property met all of my expectations. Overall, it was a very comfortable and well-maintained stay, and I would happily return.

Wow! What a property that values Hyatt Globalists! We had another couple with us and we both celebrated our anniversary there. My daughter was just accepted into SCAD and we wanted to do a quick walking tour of Savannah! The property sent a chilled champagne to our rooms with some chocolates! Really nice! We were both upgraded to suites, one has a kitchenette and the other had a view of the street. We had to switch the kitchenette one because of a sewer smell. Hotel promptly addressed that. Breakfast, order the Shrimp and Grits and it is going to be fantastic! The bar has a happy hour menu but the drinks are just $1 off the regular price. All the drinks except alcohol are included on the mini bar. Parking can be messy to get a spot for the valet to pick it up. The only one downside was that there was a wedding at the property so we couldn't use the firepit for smores and the elevator was being heavily used by the wedding guests.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Andaz in Savannah, only enhanced by incredible customer service and food at their restaurant hotel, SQ22! The contemporary Southern menu was a delightful blend of local flavors and creative presentation, portions were fabulous and costs reasonable, esp. for appetizers and salads. The atmosphere is both elegant and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening in the heart of Savannah's Historic District. The hotel is situated right by all the action and fun. Loved popping in and out. The best part of our stay was Josiah, our server in the SQ22 breakfast area. Talk about a personality! He is absolutely hilarious, so personable, best customer service I've ever had. Definitely pop in and say Elicia and Brian said 'hello!" Truly throughout this hotel, from initial check-in, to bar service, to breakfast, everything has been impeccable. I highly recommend if anyone is seeking a memorable experience all around while visiting Savannah!

Katelyn at the front desk was top notch. Understood Hyatt rewards benefits well & made us feel valued. Property was well-maintained. Perfect mix of avant guard and functional. Very comfortable bed and amenities in the Ellis square suite. While worried about the noise out on the street, at least with the AC howling good at night, no problems there. Seemed a little slow during the third weekend in August relative to how crazy popular the city is. Bonus tip: Strongly recommend the old Savannah tour bus (the white ones).

This hotel has a fabulous location that is easily walkable to the main historic area of Savannah. Our room was clean and spacious. We were able to use a phone key which was a huge plus. No onsite parking except valet but very convenient to self-park in a nearby garage. They lose a star because only one of two elevators was working for most of my visit and I was on the 6th floor. I got some great exercise but would have appreciated communication or a sign indicating the issue rather than figuring it out by seeing that one elevator never moved from the same floor.

I've stayed at Andaz's in New Orleans to London and one they never disappoint! We've never had a bad stay at their properties and the Savannah location is no different. Well maybe add some southern hospitality which is an extra touch. I can't recommend staying here enough.

This hotel had a modern online checkin process (though somehow I still had to wait in line for an actual key as someone in front of me cluelessly gabbed on) and I got a lot of information in advance about the significant logistical challenges posed by the fact that Savannah's pride festival was literally right outside the door. I ended up giving up on parking there and walking in through the city, which is not some great punishment given that the weather is nice and the streets are some of the most beautiful in America. I didn't have time to use all the amenities, but in substance, my room was nice. Temperature control was good with my own thermostat, and being on the top floor, I managed to sleep despite the loud noise below. Several motion-activated lights made evening bathroom trips easy, and they had some snazzy brand of black pepper soaps and shampoos. Some complimentary food items as well as a paid minibar were available, but in Savannah, I preferred to maximize my other food options. It was a good way to experience the heart of the city, and I'm sure on most days parking is more accessible.

First time staying in this hotel but won't be the last. Right as soon as we pulled up the staff was helpful! The quickly got a cart for luggage and helped hubby with where to park. You walk into the lobby and it smells GREAT! They had casual seating - a bar - a restaurant and located in the heart of it all. Lots of other things within short walk of the hotel. The have a ton of freebies in your room like beer - pop - water - chips n fruit juice - NICE TOUCH! Our room was clean and the bed comfy! You have to use your key to move around between floors but I didn't mind that !!!! Definitely worth a stay folks.

We had a nice weekend stay here. Pros are definitely a friendly staff, fast car retrieval by the valet, well-appointed rooms, and nice perks like free snacks in the rooms sparkling wine upon arrival, free drinks and apps in the evenings, and a nice fire pit area/deck. Cons: - if you are a light sleeper, definitely find somewhere else. The street noise was incredibly loud, and went until 2 am every night (even Sunday). - The immediate area around the hotel is very sketchy after dark, in pretty much any direction. - $45/night for valet parking is obscene. But there isn't really another alternative. - And some of the "amenities" weren't actually available. (For example, they said you could come get smores kits to use at the fire pit. As it turned out, throughout our stay the kitchen "forgot to make them"...but no one actually did anything to fix that.)

This is a beautiful hotel, right in the heart of Savannah, GA. It is walking distance from so many shops and restaurants, and also steps away from River Street! The inside of the hotel has a signature scent that is refreshing and also inviting. It is beautifully decorated and has an on-site restaurant, bar, and pool. The staff is amazing! Shoutout to Brianna, Clinton, and Bradley who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Super friendly, knowledge, and patient with every request. Did i mention, they give you the ingredients to make S'MORES at the firepit!!!? Overall excellent experience, and I will definitely return.

I was really impressed. First off, the location can't be beat. It is right where you want to be, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the river. It is a modern hotel with a trendy vibe. I can be an old curmudgeon, and stick my nose up on things that cater too much to current trends, but they hit that sweet spot of fun and charming. I loved the water bottle stations all over the hotel, and not just a forgotten water fountain in the gym, local art displayed on the walls, and a complimentary glass of champagne on check in. The rooms were not large but well appointed. Complimentary snacks, sodas, and juice to go along with the coffee setup. And half and half! No terrible powdered creamer here. Robes and slippers were available in the closet, streaming on the TV, and under bed lighting set to a motion detector when you got up at night. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows, the bathroom has hot water and good lighting, if I were to complain about ANYTHING it is just that the shower is open to the bathroom. No door or curtain, let's the heat out. The hotel was clean, well lit, and everyone I encountered was friendly. All over it was great.

Our favorite hotel on our vacation. Valet available but decided to park in public parking next door to save some money. The staff couldn't have been better with exception of the man bartender. The valet Kareem was so helpful. Also the concierge Steven was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were greeted upon checking in with a drink. We truly felt special. Room was amazing and very clean. Bed and pillows so comfortable. Location can not be beat. The problem we had was we weren't staying long enough! The hotel had so much to offer we can not wait to go back for more than two nights.

Fantastic concept boutique hotel. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, fully stocked mini bar (with tons of included items) , delicious onsite restaurant, and central location. Pool area is stylish but small. Happy hour and s'mores available on elevated pool deck. Clean and safe.

This is a beautiful hotel in a great area of Savannah. I was thrilled that they had rooms available when we were on our road trip. It was nice being able to park the car (only $16 for weekday self-park at the connected Whitaker public lot -- AND they have EV chargers) and then walk for all our meals and sightseeing. Check in and check out were super quick, even for a Hyatt property. I thought the whole front desk and valet staff was friendly and extremely competent. We stayed in an Andaz suite. It wasn't huge, but in a historic building, it was a good size. The bathroom was nice, although a door for the commode would have been nice. The kids loved the bathtub. The overall layout of the suite was great. My husband thought the bed was too firm. I didn't like the pillows (not supportive enough). The little extras were nice. We were offered sparkling wine upon check in (and since I was hauling bags, I was also told that I could come back later and get my glass at my convenience). There was wine tasting offered daily (we didn't partake). The non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in the room are included. You can request smores kits at night to roast at the firepit, which the kids LOVED. The pool was small but nicely heated. Maybe because of the central location, you need to have your room key to get anywhere, even the second floor of the hotel. That was a bit of a pain, but I understand not wanting random people to wander into the guest areas. I'd happily return when/if we return to Savannah.

The Andaz is a very special hotel and we have been loving our stay. This is our second time here and I'm so impressed with the quality and comfort of the hotel. Check in was fast and friendly and the room is beautiful and clean. The room is decorated so well and has everything we need for a wonderful vacation. The fridge in the room has free water/soda which we have appreciated because of the hot summer days. The staff have been friendly and helpful with our requests and have gone above and beyond. I asked the staff if they could help me make my husband's birthday special and Aja arranged for some celebratory complimentary sweets to be sent to the room along with a beautiful note. Customer service means a lot to us during our travels and we have been treated with such kindness during our stay. Thank you to the team at Andaz for going above and beyond! We will be back!!

We were so very impressed with our stay here. From the moment we were greeted at the front door until the moment we walked out! We were greeted by a friendly young man named Isaiah, who, through conversation, found out we were there celebrating our 25th anniversary. He upgraded our room to a suite and then sent up chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, and the sweetest note to our room! He even happily accommodated us with a late checkout! Wow! The hotel is perfectly located in the historic district and close to the Riverwalk. Everything we needed was in the room with some extras included! Upon checkout, the manager, Alexa, was just as friendly as Isaiah was. So happy we chose this hotel. We will be back!

The Andaz is conveniently located in Historic Downtown Savannah. Many restaurants and shopping surround this boutique venue. The staff efficiently checked us in and even gave us a welcome gift reserved for Hyatt members. Drinks and snacks were also offered. The hotel is clean and quaint with a warm and welcoming staff. The rooms have their own sitting area and kitchen. Valet parking is available and free to Gold Passport members. Breakfast was also free to members. We couldn't have had a nicer and more enjoyable experience. Thank you Andaz-Hyatt!

Forced to accept a room here when a different Hyatt location in Savannah overbooked our room and did not inform us until check in. Within minutes we saw there were blood stains on the comforters (no sheets) and the furniture was crawling with bed bugs. Avoid, avoid.

As a person who stays a lot of nights in hotel rooms this was my first stay at a Hyatt and will be my last. At over $500 per night for room, valet, destination fee and everything else tacked on was not good. They have 2 elevators which probably not enough and 1 was down. Ended up carrying everything up and down stairs including sleeping baby in stroller. Waited at front desk multiple times for very simple things (get an umbrella 30 minutes, return umbrella 30 minutes, ask for towels that housekeeping left none in room 20 minutes). Called Hyatt and told if issues talk to local hotel. Asked multiple times at front desk to be called by GM or management and non during stay and now full weekday and still no call. They don't care about you. FYI Hilton diamond for life and Marriott gold. Hundred plus days a year in hotel rooms and I found the worse service hotel here.

After meaning to stay at the Andaz a few times, I finally made it and would definitely make it a regular spot. The room wasn't huge but it had all the comforts needed for a wonderful stay and I was only here one night. Perhaps a suite would be better for a longer stay. Hyatt members receive a welcome drink. Yes, the $33 amenity fee plus tax is steep but the snacks and non-alcoholic drinks were not included. And we got breakfast, too. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the added touches with floor night light, bathroom light sensor switch and well stocked fridge plus minibar. The room had a view of the square and street noise wasn't an issue. Staff were friendly and inviting.

As airline crew our trip arrives after midnight and Tasha was waiting at the door as we pulled up. Tasha is soo informative and personable and even as crew she welcomed us as valued guests. We dont normally have this kind of treatment at hotels. Tasha is truly"one of a kind". Also...I really enjoyed my stay at the Andaz, it is soo quiet, clean, comfortable with a warm decor. Never heard any street noise, or in the hall or the rooms on either side of me. The location is sweet! Tons of things around and walking distance. Savannah is a fun city.

I have stayed at Andaz hotels regularly because they are Hyatts top tier hotels, so was very disappointed with this one. Although the staff was very courteous and helpful the hotel is in serious need of improvement in my opinion. Towels were threadbare and many had holes in them, the mattress was so worn it was beyond soft (not in a good way) carpets in room were old and rather poor condition. Although in a good location, directly across from hotel there is major construction (a tall building) which the hotel didn't disclose so if you have an upgraded room over the square (or any on that side of building) you get that noise constantly. Enjoyed my stay in Savannah, but wish I had stayed elsewhere.

The Andaz hotel Savannah is on the perfect location on downtown within walking distance to everything and with excellent views of town. We stayed two nights and had a great experience as all the staff was kind, attentive and efficient. The valet parking staff was very professional and took great care of our car, the checkin staff made everything to make our experience great and the facilities are just gorgeous, from the funky decorations, to the comfortable beds to the wonderful pool deck. I could not get enough of the ambiance fragrance which is crafted specially for this location and makes every corner of the place feel luxurious and exclusive.

Buyer remorse! $500 after all of the fees and taxes. I always try to stay at 4-5 star Hotel's. This place will struggle to be a 3 star. They have very small staf, so to get a cart for your luggage, you're on your own. Expecting their people to open your car door and assist with your luggage and get it to your room....That didn't happen either. Inside more of the same. Some youngster running the show hands you the swipe card and walks back to her office. I knew Savanah was not upscale anyway, but the slice of pizza I got around the corner was more of the same vibe. The room was nice, small and and not a $500 per night room anywhere! The service that you get is decent, but just not $500 4 star experience.

First time visiting Savannah and I can say that we all felt welcomed and taken care of at Andaz and their staff. The hotel is centrally located in the middle of everything and within walking distance of the day/night life within the area. The rooms were beautiful, well kept, updated and clean. I did notice we did not experience housekeeping service during our two night stay and at times, simple requests/services were a bit slow however aside from that, it was a very pleasant stay.

The cleanliness of this place is not the best as seen in pics below. Especially for the price you pay. Location is great and customer service at the front desk is awesome. But they definitely need to clean these rooms more. I am unsure due to the cleanliness and the price equivalent if i will return. The only reason i would rate it a 3 is the service and location if not it would be a 1.5-2 at most.

Wish I could give this place 5 stars but the service was extremely inconsistent across the board. I'll be revising this review once I get home but definitely gotta give a shout out to the new manager of Valet Operations, Kai, for his commitment to improving the guest experience. Others...I'm not naming names but if you're gonna be charging $350/night PLUS a $33 "destination fee" and $42 nightly for valet (oh this is all pre-tax btw) WHY AM I GRABBING MY OWN BAGS UPON ARRIVAL? Normally, I don't care much about that but I was wearing 4 inch wedge sandals (clumsy gals you know how perilous that can get) AND a new set of nails ‍ I got done just for the weekend. HELP a girl make her mani last through the weekend at the very least ‍

Andaz Savannah is just okay. That's the best line to describe our experience at this property. It's location is its biggest asset. Centrally located in the historic district, around a lot of restaurants and bars and just a short walk from the river front, the Andaz is where you want to be if you just want to experience everything by foot. However, know that if you plan on driving while you're in town, the only available option is the valet which will add an extra fee to your stay. By all accounts, the hotel is on the compact side. The lobby, restaurant and bar are all pretty packed in together. The front desk is pretty small, but friendly and we were given free sparkling wine upon check in. The rooms are small. We were upgraded to the Andaz Suite and normally that would be the size of a Grand Hyatt or even a Hyatt Regency room, it's considered a suite at the Andaz. Now, the room was big enough for two people, but with an additional body it would feel crowded. The room had a large bathroom with a deep soaking tub, but a lack of a wash closet made it awkward for your partner to walk in if you were doing your business. Also, for some odd reason my toilet seat would stay in the up position while doing a number 1, leading to many odd moments...and I'll just leave it at that. The one big issue that we had with the room was with the AC. Incredibly loud, like a noise machine running all night...it was an odd issue to encounter in a location with a tropical climate. The Andaz brand is not known for being serene and this location represented that to a tee. Noise isolation wasn't a thing and because of its central location, you were able to hear a lot of street noise even with the windows and doors closed which lead to a night of bad sleep. However, the free Globalist breakfast ($75/day credit) redeemed them for this. The food was a plenty and traditional southern cuisine with heavy stick to the bones type of food. Overall, the stay wasn't the greatest, but wasn't the worst. It was just okay and that's the best I can say about this property.

We arrived at the Andaz Hotel and right away, we were greeted with the Southern hospitality from Mia at the receptionist desk. She informed us of all the amenities and the concierge service right away. We felt like home Patrick her supervisor was absolutely wonderful with our room placement and making us feel welcome. I would strongly recommend this place. I can't wait to visit again will be here for four days

This hotel was amazing. The location was great. The staff was even better. Emmanuel at the front desk and Anne at the restaurant were especially great. Next time I'm in Savanah I will be staying here. A few great perks as hyatt globalist was the free breakfast, goody bag, welcome drinks, wine tasting.

I absolutely loved the Andaz Savannah by Hyatt. So much that I stayed here twice in one trip. One a road trip up north I decided to use a free night I have with Hyatt to stay here. I was greet immediately by the most friendly rep who checked me in, graciously gave me an upgrade and sent me to my room. Here's the low down: -This hotel typically provides free drinks and snacks such as Coke, chips, cookies, Kind Bars, etc. Because of this, they are behind the front desk. You can ask for as many as you want, I did. -Face coverings are needed in the lobby and the elevator. -The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms were especially. I had one room with both a tub and a large two person shower with great pressure. -The beds were comfortable -The pool area is open until 10pm and had plenty of lounge seating. -The bar is open. One my second visit I did see some housekeeping going on which was seemed like daily housekeeping, not check out cleaning so I did put my privacy marker on my door to be safe. My first time visiting I couldn't figure out if there was valet or not. They had a stand but no one was there. The second time after I already parked there was an attendant there so maybe they have an attendant only on the weekends? Regardless you can park in the same garage that they'll put your car in anyway. Sometimes you're not charged, other times you are but it's directly with the parking garage, not through the hotel and there would be no in and out. The rooms are such a highlight. They feel like mini apartments. And they overlooked Ellis Square so I could see everything that was going on even if I didn't want to be a part of it. It's in the perfect location from so many places. You can't beat the location. The location was prime. Everything about it exceeded my expectations and I will happily book there again and I hope I get to book there soon.

Room was tiny for 3 people with 2 queen beds. They told us at check in SO many amenities that we didn't mind the extra $33 a day for destination fee. Very few of those actually happened. S'mores around the fire pit - asked for the pit to be turned on, which didn't happen so we finally left. (You have to ask for a S'mores kit at the front desk). One elevator working which means a long wait. We were supposed to get free cocktails upon arrival. Didn't happen. Free appetizers during happy hour. Didn't happen. In fact, no one in the bar had appetizers. They knew we had reservations for 3, but only had 2 towels, one washcloth, and one water bottle in the room. There is coffee available most of the day. Breakfast bar looked ok. We got to the hotel in time for dinner, but they were out of half the menu and were told it would be a one hour wait. I ordered a $9 kids meal with water. It was pretty boring. My sisters had entrees and a cocktail. Food was just ok. Bill was almost $200. Keep in mind I had water and a kids meal. Do not recommend this place. It gets one star for location in town.

Maybe it's the covid thing but the 5 stars rating we read is much about it's definitely not the case.. I give this hotel 3 stars at best and here is why: 1) our bed didn't even come with a fitted sheet, just a comforter?? How disgusting is that? 2) all the amenities that are included, are not included, we have to ask for them if you know what's included of course.. 3) pools had things floating in it and do not have any towels, we had to ask for them twice.. 4) all the toiletries things are not included in the room and we need to ask for every little thing My suggestions: give all guests checking in a list of all items available for us to just check off upcoming arriving so we can have them at our room daily vs having to ask every single day. Covid is not really a reason not to service our room or not to include amenities upon arrival.. ask us what we want and bring them to us daily. Highly disappointed for what we paid for this place! The price should be half at this point.. doesn't make sense to pay premium for minimum!

Andaz Savannah - a Concept by Hyatt is a great place to stay in the middle of everything. I really like the location and atmosphere that they have created here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have the best stay.

Stayed here in August 2020 (covid-19 period obviously!) so really didn't "venture" around around the hotel (less the lobby and my room)...and yes- safe social distancing and mask wearing in place. And they are paying attention to the "little details" like tissues in the elevator to use, to press the button for your room floor. Let's go! - the location is excellent, right in the heart of D/T Savannah - check in was smooth, easy and friendly! - very cool interior vibe, mixed with old Old South charm - room was excellent in terms of styling and size Adding that yes- I am loyal to Hyatt, so room upgrades (in this case, as suite with balcony) made my stay here, that much better. IMO- no doubt put this place high on your list if you are headed to Savannah!

We visited Savannah in March and stayed at Andaz Savannah. It was a wonderful experience. We were greeted with champagne. The staff could not be more accommodating. The room was great. The location is excellent. We walked everywhere. I highly recommend this hotel.

In the days of Covid, when services are curtailed and staffing is short, I am happy to say that the Andaz was full functioning and a good choice for lodging. From the moment of entry you are welcomed by an excellent reception and the concierge is eager to assist ( he quickly got me a glass of milk for my room for my coffee, thank you). Rooms are spacious, amenities ample and there is a make-up mirror (yay). The lobby bar is excellent- best pomegranate margarita ever. And the restaurant is pretty decent too- the shrimp and grits were absolutely fabulous (see review of restaurant). Location of hotel perfect - central historic district, near to everything but. OT on the noisy river walk. A good choice - don't choose rooms above terrace/pool.

Great location and a great room. We came in and were able to check in easily. They even had tour tickets available at the concierge and one of the stops was literally across the street. The room, bathroom and bed were very comfortable and we had no issues. Once we finished the tour and had a better lay of the city we were happy to find how centrally located this place was and we could basically walk to all the spots we wanted to go. Loved the city and will likely come back. When we do this is where we will be staying.

Great location! We easily walked everywhere in City Market, River Street and Plant Riverside. Champagne on arrival, complementary snacks and beverages in the room, and a very attentive staff. The room was clean and quiet. Loved the whole vibe and will stay here again.

Great location within walking distance to River Street and historic district. Hotel room was very clean. Tons of restaurants and bars within steps. Use the Whitaker St parking garage (next door to the hotel) instead of valet. The parking garage is half the price of valet. There are free snacks in the room and free wine/appetizers at the bar in the evening. Our room had a view of construction and was right next door to the housekeeping closet and laundry room. The housekeepers congregated outside our door and chatted. They were extremely noisy, going in and out of their area. Request a room with a view of Ellis Square or the terrace. Upon arrival the front desk clerk made a weird comment about the fact that I had paid with points. Which is odd, because many people do. Breakfast is not included, so walk to Goose Feathers cafe for an amazing breakfast. The fitness room is very small. We had to wait our turn to use cardio equipment and there weren't enough weights for more than 2 people. Digital key did not work at any point during our stay. We were told by the front desk that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Great location! The rooms are so cute. Everything is within walking distance. There are so many boutiques, coffee shops, pastries, pet shops, the staff for the most part was very sweet. There are no microwaves available in the room so you have to go to the lobby and ask them to heat up your food. The gym is below average. The pool are is probably my favorite thing about the hotel. Very private and cozy.

I usually love staying here ... but my last stay I was very disappointed in the cleanliness here, especially when I requested a suite room. I recommend they do better cleaning in the bathrooms and dust, , as this especially expected for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, I was also disappointed when I called 8 hrs ahead of my arrival asking their housekeeping to make the sofa beds already ... usually most hotel chains would do this, but I was sad to see this wasn't done after a 12 hr road trip. The hotel is cute and swanky in decor and has a great bar area to hangout and get your drank on. The room decor is also pretty sweet. Just as a rule of thumb andaz... please clean .

S'mores, happy hour, and Clinton are three reasons this hotel gets 5 stars! The staff is super kind, the bed is comfortable, pillows are great and the extras that this hotel offers are priceless! I 100% recommend this hotel.

LOVE the Andaz. There aren't many locations (only around 10 in the US), and a few are close to home in NYC. So although I've been a Hyatt rewards member for a while this was my first stay at an Andaz. Think of it like a regular Hyatt hotel with funkier decor and a more boutique feel. I loved all of the modern artwork - lots of great paintings and even some cute little touches in our room like funny statues of monkeys. The room was spacious and had a super comfy bed. There is a light strip underneath the bed that lights up when you get up at night and the bathroom light automatically turns on when you go in. Some more major perks about our stay: -Free drink with check-in (wine or beer) -Comped non-alcoholic mini-bar drinks -A gorgeous patio with a pool and a fire pit. Our friends had a top level room with a balcony and their view was stunning. We even got to watch a wedding happening on the deck! -Gorgeous lobby with a bar and restaurant -Location just can't be beat. Walkable to River Street, right outside of one of Savannah's main squares and close to all the shopping, bars and eateries that you could ever need. -Close to a parking garage with reasonable rates -They upgraded my friends room to a suite and it was 'sweet' - gorgeous and huge room with an amazing balcony. Only taking off one star because: -Elevators are very slow -Customer service is just okay. Not really the type of hotel where anyone holds the door for you if you have luggage and there was always a long line to speak to a concierge. -The welcome beer was a very sweet touch but also tasted like warm natty lite. But a sweet gesture nonetheless! Will stay here again if back in Savannah with no questions asked.

Have somewhat conflicted reviews about this hotel. I will start off by saying that this is probably the best location you can have in Savannah. Pretty much right in the middle of just about everything from shops to restaurants. The initial experience was quite poor as I pulled up to the valet parking because that is the only option they have and the valet attendant wasn't very polite and basically told me that they didn't have any room for cars at the moment and just told me to keep circling around until there was an open spot? Very inconvenient start and there is so much traffic in downtown so circling around the block can take a very long time. Once I finally made it into the hotel around 4:30pm the front desk said that the room wasn't available to check in yet? It's like c'mon a 4pm check in is already pretty ridiculous in general and they were saying it still wasn't ready. To say the least, the hotel was not off to a good start. The room itself was totally fine and and the pool/terrace area was nice. They have some pretty unique amenities and as mentioned the location was the best part. Pretty good option for staying in downtown but definitely need to work out few kinks.

What a great hotel! I stayed here doing COVID-19 and I was so impressed. The make masks mandatory for guests in all public spaces, they have tissue boxes in the elevator so you can push the buttons and dispose of the tissues and they have hand sanitizer stations on every floor. They aren't doing housekeeping unless you requet it. Which is fine by me for a short stay. Super nice staff. Always greeted us when we arrived and offered recommendations. Got us silverware when the restaurant down the block that we ordered from didn't include it. Bar staff was also very nice as we stopped there for a drink one night. Great location! It's surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants and just a few blocks from the River. I'm actually happy this isn't in prime time party area as some of hotels by the river must get a ton of noise at night. It was calm and quiet here. Bed was super comfy - king size bed and the linens were super soft. You can valet with them, or park in the public garage for about half the price. It's on the same block, so garaging it might be a better bet for most people. Most money to spend on food that way ;)

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Andaz Savannah. The staff was great and the bartenders were phenomenal, especially Acacia! One major suggestion-YOUNEED SOFTER TOILET PAPER!! This is a top notch hotel with single ply toilet paper that feels like sand paper. Really? My bum was raw by the time I checked out. I'll stay here again but next time I'll bring my own Charmin.

Stayed in the Ellis Square Suite and the room was on the top floor over looking the park. Beautiful room with snacks, espresso and water. Double vanity in the bathroom, but the shower doesn't have a door or curtain so the water sprayed on the floor. The bedding also didn't have a top sheet, only a duvet. Location was great and walkable to everything. We dropped our bags and parked for free South of Liberty street until Monday morning. Complimentary beer/wine tasting with two free apps at the bar.
