We booked a two-night stay, including one free night, and requested to remain in the same room. Despite reserving four months in advance, the hotel could not accommodate this due to full occupancy. With no concierge, the front desk is consistently busy. So expect to wait 10 minutes or more for assistance. While the staff is friendly, the overall service falls below what we’ve experienced at other Hyatt and Andaz properties.
During our stay, neither of our rooms had hand soap. When we requested some, we were told that the hotel had not received a delivery that weekend, and we were provided with a small bar of soap instead. My concern is why the bar soap was not placed in the rooms beforehand regardless of brand? this is a basic hygiene necessity.
Our first room had a noticeable hole in the wall, something simple to fix but apparently overlooked. The second room had visible dust bunnies throughout, which further diminished the experience. By this point, we chose not to address additional issues and were simply ready to check out.
If you’re familiar with other Andaz locations, you may want to lower your expectations or consider staying elsewhere.
