f you’re interested in traveling to Africa, Jomandie Dempers is the travel agent to use. Over the years she has organized at least 15 trips for me. Obviously, I would not use her so often if those trips were not excellent! She has a deep knowledge of every place that she suggests and that knowledge enhances each journey. She’s also very well organized, so that the trips always run smoothly. In fact, I’m about to leave for another of her trips, this time to Botswana.

Our activities nicely planned, perfect room, special celebration for my husband and our Covid tests. She is very thorough in her plans and considerate of your likes, needs and budget. Seranne is a true professional. Not only she is extremely responsive but she was instrumental in the choice of the destinations for our honeymoon. She patiently shared a wealth of information, answered all questions we had prior to booking. She understood our wishes and needs and executed lots of modifications during the process that was made very easy for us. Once we booked, the follow-up was second to none, even on weekends, answering all the concerns regarding COVID and civil unrest in a couple of destinations. The execution was flawless, thanks to great communication, coordination and knowledge of the different areas and transportation companies. We travelled many places in Africa and we can confidently say that &Beyond team is one of the best we met. Every single day of our holiday was filled with amazing experiences with all our logistics, accommodation and tours being taken care of. When one of the scheduled flights was cancelled Cleo arranged a private plane at no extra cost. Highly recommend and will certainly travel again with &Beyond team !

I can not adequately express how amazing our safari was! I normally plan all of our trips, and was apprehensive about booking with a travel agent, but Jomandie was absolute perfection. Our trip ran smoothly from our arrival in Nairobi, and meet-and-greet at the airport, to our final departure. All of her lodging and tour recommendations were spot-on, and the entire experience was completely stress-free. Jomandie has already planned several additional trips for my wife and I, and I look forward to many more in the future.

Sheehaam did an outstanding Job: She planned our 21 day long &Beyond experience and Sheehaam and &Beyond stood up to (and far exceeded) their reputation. From the very arrival in Johannesburg to our departure, we always felt in good hands - especially with the bureaucratic restrictions due to covid. Regarding covid: you won't easily find a place as safe as South Africa - especially the lodges:The took our temperature, staff had their mask always on, there was disinfectant everywhere - they even brought it into the bush. All the Lodges and Locations were chosen with great expertise. Even though we were on safari for 3 weeks every day and every Lodge was feeling so different. We had the most incredible sights - not only by chance, but by the careful observation and the knowledge of our guides. It felt like we were constantly in a national geographic documentary while having all the luxury and comfort in the world. Thank you Sheehaam for planning our trip!

Leandre orchestrated a wonderful trip to Kenya at andBeyond's Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp. We had heard about andBeyond from friends and Leandre & the team did not disappoint. Leandre was incredibly responsive and answered all our questions - putting us at ease about traveling with the various COVID protocols in place. We felt very safe while in Kenya - they had better pandemic safety protocols than parts of the US. Kichwa Tembo was incredible - the facilities & staff made our belated honeymoon a delight. They went above and beyond - our guide Jeremy - was just the best. We loved staying at one camp for a week and getting to explore within the Mara Conservancy and having a nice home base with attentive staff and gorgeous rooms to come back to after game drives (which never disappointed!).

Travelling during a pandemic seems like a daunting task. But, I will happily say that Karen and the andBeyond team made the experience easy and seamless. There is no doubt you will pay extra to travel with andBeyond. But, you will immediately see the value in every aspect. The attention to detail is something I have never observed to such a high level with any other resort. In regard to Karen specifically, she did an amazing job. After telling her my ideal itinerary, she planned what ended up being a perfect itinerary that included safari and beach for the exact number of days we needed. As changes arose - as they invariably did - during COVID. Karen immediately made adjustments. This included flight changes, changes to COVID testing, etc. And, two days before travel, we even had to make a small itinerary adjustment - which ended up working out just fine. I typically plan my own trips. And, I'm very good at doing so - even complex ones. But, I cannot express how much Karen's assistance in the planning of this adventure made a huge difference - especially with the logistics involved. If you are wondering if the pandemic is the time to travel, the answer is simple. If your country allows it and you feel safe doing it, this is a perfect time to take a safari. Alone in the wilderness with the animals is about as safe from COVID as you will feel in months. Looking forward to my next andBeyond adventure!
