This camp has a fantastic location in the Maasai Mara. As soon as we landed at the airstrip, we were greeted by Ken, our guide for the stay, with coffee, tea, soda, beer, and biscuits. Just in case, I got my camera and lens out from the luggage for the ride to the Camp and was glad I did. We saw 3 of the big 5 on the way in, and Ken knew just when the animals would be where along our path.|Ken was a fantastic guide for the visit. He knew where to be when and got us the best angles for viewing. He made it very enjoyable and educational.|The Camp had everything you could possibly want. The atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. The rooms are well-appointed with comfy beds and a great shower with a view of the Maasai Mara. Our room and clothes were cleaned every day by our attendant and she did a fantastic job.|We were also assigned a guide for the food at the lodge, our own personal waiter for every meal. He made sure we had plenty of our favorite drinks and offered many suggestions. He mentioned they had an Indian chef on the first day we were there and that he could make Indian specialities if I wanted. I put Chef Martin to the test and had him make Dosa, Upma, Okra fry, Eggplant curry, and spinach curry. He came through and even surprised us with some potato bajjis. The food was always outstanding.|If you are planning a trip to the Maasai Mara, you won't go wrong choosing this place.
