This is a beautiful hotel in Cusco, conveniently located. We stayed here to acclimatize to the altitude before hiking the Inca Trail and had a very pleasant experience. While we weren’t overly impacted by altitude sickness, there were a few afternoons/evenings where the staff happily delivered food to our room so we didn’t need to move, which was very appreciated. They also packed us a breakfast the day we left for our hike.
Our room was nice. Lighting was a bit dim, and it was easy to hear sounds from people walking past within the hallways/courtyard. It wasn’t a problem because no one was super loud or making noise for a long time. We could smell when they kitchen started prepping breakfast, so if food smells aren’t for you it may be worth asking for a room that faces a different direction. Breakfast was pretty good - a few hot dishes to compliment the cold and eggs to order. We also had laundry done here. The clothes came back a bit heavily perfumed and clean.
In summary - a great place to stay in Cusco, kind/helpful staff, all the services you might need.
