ANDENES by MOUNTAIN LODGES OF PERU

I have honestly loved our stay thus far. David made me feel super safe as a solo female traveler, he has great suggestions and advice. The staff is extremely attentive and makes it a point to be "unseen" but I enjoy their company. Very kind, the breakfast spread is immaculate! Clean rooms, hot showers, big fluffy towels, beautiful common areas, amazing views of Cuzco from the roof terrace, soft, local blankets on all the couches/beds, 24/7 tea and coca station. Overall just a wonderful stay. Thank you David! My only (very small) criticism is they turn the gas off for the radiators during the day even if it's cold and rainy... but it's in the name of conservation. I mean they have to carry gas up 3.5 flights of stairs so it's understandable. Just cold :')

If I had any expectations before I got here they were quickly exceeded. The staff was beyond accommodating, the meals were yummy with a large selection of choices. Our guide Beto and driver Walter were amazing both in their efficiency and breadth of knowledge. The rooms were large and well maintained with amazing views. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi.

We stayed at this hotel twice for a little over a week total. The rooms, the vibes, the breakfast and the staff are all very nice. The noise from outside the lodge is blocked very well, but it can be pretty noisy with the internal noise from other guests going and coming from rooms and the kitchen staff starting breakfast early. We did not have the amazing service from staff that others have referenced, but there were no problems or issues either. The location is almost impossible to beat to get around all the key sites of Cusco. If you are a light sleeper this might not be the best place for you, but it’s definitely a fun place and very convenient for exploring town.

We stayed at three hotels of the same category in Cusco, and this was by far the best. The location is perfect, in the lower part of San Blas, just two blocks from the main square but far enough from the noise. Plus, you don’t have to climb stairs to reach the hotel. The breakfast is delicious and very varied. The room has an extremely comfortable bed. I highly recommend staying at Andenes.

We stayed at Andenes for 4 nights and the experience was absolutely amazing. This hotel is super aesthetic and wholesome. The courtyard and restaurant feel like a small cafe. The breakfast was very delicious as well with local fruit and vegetables. Our room was clean and comfortable. Shower was great with hot water. Every staff was very friendly, and they offer English service. The location is just a few blocks from town center - it was perfect for us because it is not too noisy at night, and traffics in front of the hotel is not as bad as town center, which makes pick up very easy. It’s only 3-4min walk to the main plaza Highly recommend this place

Stayed here twice, total of 10 nights. The top floor suite (once we had a free upgrade there) is simply insane. Go for this one if available, it’s worth every penny.

What a wonderful staff! Giovanny was very kind and attentive to us while we were checking in, Anibal was very kind in making us breakfast and telling us about Cusco, David and Marie were all very polite.||Awesome things the staff did for us:|-Packed us a generous to-go breakfast when we had an early trip|-Coordinated our cab ride from and to the airport|-Held and moved our luggage from one hotel to another while we were out on a 2 day excursion.||We stayed a few nights at their sister hotel XO Art House and then a few nights at Andenes. Both were very nice, well kept, pretty, and clean. Our room was bigger and had cool art in XO (we had the deluxe room) while the decor and space of the hotel itself was prettier at Andenes. You can’t go wrong with either, they were both awesome. 5 stars for sure.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Andenes Hotel by Mountain Lodges of Perú. My friends and I chose to stay there to acclimate to the altitude in Cusco and in preparation for our Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu. The hotel staff was very helpful especially Giovanny the evening concierge, who gave great advice and recommendations for places to eat for dinner, shop, options for ATMs for Soles, and in my case a tech shop for my camera. The rooms I had were exactly what I needed where the beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot! The rooftop view was a pleasant surprise and the breakfasts hit the spot! I also appreciated the security that the hotel provided with a beautiful iron gate where all guests are buzzed in. Highly recommend!
