We had a very lovely stay at Andenes Hotel in Cusco. We stayed in the big room with the lofted ceilings and it was so worth it to have the extra space--- it's a wonderful room. The hotel is beautiful, located in a perfect spot between the Plaza and San Blas areas, you can walk to so many restaurants and shops from the hotel. We had lovely service here. We were checked in and out by David who was very wonderful, and there was another woman who worked the front desk during our stay that was incredibly helpful and kind, but I did not catch her name. David gave us local recs for restaurants and was super friendly. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel had an area for water, tea, and snacks available all day long, and even has an oxygen tank if you need extra support during your stay. We loved this hotel and I would highly recommend it while in Cusco! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at the Andenes was incredible from start to finish. David was the first person we met when we arrived in Cusco. He was friendly, informative, and had a calm demeanor which made us feel relaxed and comfortable after a long day of travel. He gave us great recommendations for food options and things to do in Cusco. We truly enjoyed chatting with David and staying at the Andenes. The breakfast was so tasty, employees were cheerful and kind, the hotel and rooms were beautiful and clean, I could go on for hours about how great our experience was. They provided complimentary water and Coca tea which was helpful avoiding altitude sickness. They also had a luggage storage system to help store our things when we were gone hiking for a few days. I had accidentally left my charger in my room when we packed up to leave for our hiking excursion. They had saved it and given it to me when I returned back from the hiking trip, it was so thoughtful of them to do that. We felt well taken care of and had the best experience. We would highly recommend anyone traveling to Cusco to stay at the Andenes hotel!

We stayed here for one night before heading to Machu Picchu, left our suitcases at the hotel, and came back for another three nights — everything was perfectly safe 🙌 The rooms are super cozy and beautifully designed. The courtyard is stunning — a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. Breakfasts were delicious, and the breakfast room itself is bright and stylish. You can make yourself some tea in the lobby anytime, which is such a nice touch! Just one small tip: if you’re arriving late, make sure to arrange it in advance since the reception isn’t open 24/7. Definitely recommend! 💛

The hotel has an unbeatable location, very central and walking distance to every point of interest in town. We stayed in this hotel twice, pre and post the Inca trail hike. Our first room was very close to the restaurant on the 3rd floor and we stayed up all night due to late arriving guests and very early breakfast preparations next door. We changed rooms upon our return and this changed our experience completely. the rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The colonial courtyard architectural style is beautiful but offers little peace becasue all the rooms are exposed to the central courtyard and the sounds echo loud. Staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and catered to. I would go back just because of their warmth and friendliness.

Stayed here 3 nights over 2 occasions. It was clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Bed is huge but not much other space so it took a lot of juggling with our gear. It was cold and they only have heading 7pm-7am but they lent us a portable heater which was good (and very much needed). We arrived early in morning and were told they'd call us when a room was cleaned, they never did but when we finally returned wet and cold at 2.30pm (just before formal check in at 3) multiple rooms were available which was frustrating!

The Andenes by Mountain Lodges was a great hotel to stay in while in Cuzco!! The location was perfect, not only was it close to the main plaza, but it was also at the bottom of the hill in San Blas, so we didn’t have to walk up or down hills to get back to the hotel. We arrived fairly early around 10:30 AM and they allowed us to check-in early at no charge! The free breakfast was okay, pretty standard at what you’ll see at other hotels in the area. And they also allowed us to keep our bags there when we left for 4 days to do our trek, all free of charge. When we returned, they had already brought our bags up to our room. A nice touch! They had heaters, but they would only turn on at night (which is usually all you need). It wasn’t a 5-star hotel, but for the price it’s worth it. The staff (David especially) was very friendly and I would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved our stay here, stayed around 8 days. Central and the place is so cute! They provide breakfast daily and have drinking water available 24/7. They also were able to pick us up and drop off at the airport. Concierge was so nice to keep our bags and they also have a security/door person around the clock. I felt very safe and well taken care of here. Definitely check out their rooftop terrace! I enjoyed many a muña tea up there. I would recommend them to anyone!

Loved my stay here! I stayed for 3 days in July 2025 and would totally recommend. Rooms were quaint, but beautiful clean and cozy. Bed was fantastic! Free water, tea, coca leaves, and little candies all day. I saw someone using oxygen in the lobby that must have needed it. I loveddddd the continental breakfast. Yogurt, bar, fresh fruit, fresh juices, coffee, meats cheeses and breads.. scrambled eggs and sausage meats. The outside floor patio was lovely and the "roof top" area was beautiful! Little market right next to the hotel where you could purchase wine to sit up there and relax. Jacks cafe right next to the hotel was fantastic! Very very close to the city center, and an easy walk to there. I was a solo traveling female and felt VERY safe! You have to ring the doorbell to get into the hotel where a hotel worker would personally let you in, so it's not like anyone can come and go as they please. They stored my luggage when I went on my hike and when I returned, it was all already waiting in my room :) I was on the first floor and walls were a little thin, buuut I'm a heavy sleeper and loved being right next to the water, so I thought it was totally worth it! Really loved this place and would highly suggest saying here :)
