Clean and comfy hostel, in a good location! The main thing that stood out was Joel's service on the reception. He was always there to help us and answer any questions and really went above and beyond with helping us with luggage and preparing for our hike to Machu Picchu. Thanks for everything

Andenes de Saphy is very cozy, friendly, and clean. The room was spacious with a bathroom and accommodated three of us very well. The room does get chilly at night but the hotel provides enough blankets and a heater to combat the cold. The breakfast was continental served from 6-9am, to bad we left the hotel around 5am everyday, because it was delicious our last day there. Also, the hotel is located less than a 10min walk to the plaza and 18min walk to Sacsayhuaman. Overall, this is a great place to stay!

We stayed for 5 nights in the family room, interrupted by the Inca trail which meant that we stored our luggage, without any problems. The room is very large, on 2 levels, with one double bed. The quality of some of the beds is on the lower end with some of the mattresses worn out. The blankets are heavy, but we had that at other places, too. They provided a heater (included) which was really necessary as it was very cold. The stairs up to the second level are without a handrail. The shower head needs maintenance, it s also quite hard to keep the water inside the curtain which is too small and therefore not covering up properly. The room is located uphill, which means you ll have good training before the Inca trail. The staff is attentive to any requests. The breakfast is served in a nice area: 2 big yummy bread rolls, 2 fried eggs or muesli, jam, margarine, fresh juice, tea and coffee. Simpel, but sufficient, not for the breakfast enthusiast. Location is 10-15 min walk slightly uphill from Plaza de Armas, moderately noisy with lots of dogs barking at night. WiFi was working in our room, free parking possible in front of the hotel, tiny old TV, free airport shuttle. Overall a 7/10 experience for us.

We stayed here in a triple for two nights when our favorite place was booked. It was very clean and the staff was really friendly. They actually cleaned our room and gave us clean towels! Only a few blocks from the plaza and no hills to climb, which was nice. My only complaint is that the shower was not consistently hot and the water pressure was terrible. A little more money than we wanted to spend. Definitely a solid option though.

We have stayed there for 4 nights in this hotel/hostel. Its location about 10 min walk from the Plaza de armas is good. The rooms are clean though light is too dim (even reading is difficult) and no chairs to sit on. Some rooms require climbing too many stairs. Breakfast is disappointing. The price $ 60-70 (cash to credit card) is excessive.

We stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and so are the beds. Staff very accommodating, providing us with packed breakfast as we had to leave very early in the morning. Hotel is located relatively close to restaurant and plaza district.

Loved the stay at this beautiful hotel. Clean, cute rooms with lots of hot water, a heater, great WiFi. The family looked after our every need. Prices were reasonable. Loved the green house dining area.

This place is a bit of a walk from the Plaza des Armas. The rooms on the road side are loud with a disco next door. I got one hour sleep. The breakfast was terrible and low grade. Rooms are mostly cramped with no room to walk around. Have stayed here before and it has gone downhill quite a bit. I would avoid this place if you want sleep
