"Owner Andrea Plattner grew up in the Plose and made the enormous massif his sole focus when he radically restyled his family’s hotel Anders Mountain Suites into a sumptuous seven-suite boutique. Sitting at more than 6,000 feet in elevation, Anders Suites is now a private enclave. Tyrolean architect Martin Gruber showcases a new version of minimalist mountain chic with a very contemporary cantilevered design of natural woods and concrete. (Imagine Frank Lloyd Wright and Richard Meier in the mountains). Each of the seven suites is paneled in warm spruce wood, with private saunas and few embellishments so as not to distract from the panoramic windows that showcase uninterrupted views of the Dolomites. A key feature of the resort is its ski-in, ski-out access, which puts summertime guests in a prime location for exploring the mountains on foot, too. From $724" - Erica Firpo, Laura Itzkowitz

"In Italy’s UNESCO-listed Dolomites, après-ski meets la dolce vita under the watch of the jagged golden peaks of the Plose massif that juts into the sky, which on sunny days is a crisp, brilliant blue. The German-speaking region of Italy is also known for its modernist architecture, rustic Alpine-Italo cuisine, and high-altitude wines. A new and under the radar ski-in/ski-out spot in Brixen called Anders Mountain Suites opened in June 2022 at an altitude of 6,000 feet. The former 50-bed alpine hotel has been converted to a contemporary seven-suite retreat with low slung minimalist architecture, smooth contoured concrete, brushed spruce wood, and giant glass windows overlooking the fir forests and mountains where 26 miles of sun-kissed piste await. A bio sauna, roaring fireplaces, and full kitchens that come with stocked fridges sweeten any long-term stay." - Adam H. Graham

Heaven on earth! We have traveled all over the world and this was one of our favorite places ever! The views are absolutely stunning. The food is fantastic! The rooms are gorgeous with such beautiful, classy, Zen-style architecture (and also phenomenal views from the bed). The owners Andreas and Sandra are so kind. And, even more amazing, you can ski right from Anders onto the slopes of the best place in the Dolomites! Honestly, we have gone to ski all over the Dolomiti Superski region - to such fantastic places as Alta Badia, Saiser Alm, Kronplatz, and Val Gardena - and we think this is the best! It's far less crowded, because it's so far from the other ski resorts. And the slopes and views and huts are incredible! We can only imagine that Anders must be gorgeous in the spring, summer, and fall as well, because the views are stunning and everything is perfect here. These were some of our favorite days of our lives!

Absolutely incredible! Accommodations are simple, comfortable, and beautiful. Owners are a lovely young couple who are genuinely kind and extremely thoughtful. Eat at the restaurant as often as possible, there are some good spots around but nothing compares to the view at Anders and they offer amazing food.

This is for sure the unique place and interesting architecture. Remote location on 1850 m.|You can hear the silence. Lay on the sun bed on the grass, and enjoy in completely silence, fresh air and perfect view.|Boutique hotel with only seven, big two floors, apartments. Unspoiled view from your comfortable beds with strong wood aromas around you. It has full equipped kitchen - you can easy prepare full meal there. |Web site must be with more informations. Monday is day off for them. Honestly I didn’t know that hotel in the middle of the season can have day off? They bring you breakfast in the room, and good buy.|The dinner (expensive) pretend to be fine dinning (we have only one) but it must be improved. Breakfast is basic, but good.|They are very kind, but more professionalism (experience) is missing.|Five stars is because of the location, and because of kind mother of Lisa and Maria.

A luxury experience with a family feel! Book without hesitation. The service was impeccable, accommodating and friendly. The rooms are stunning and views are magical. Facilities are just right to complete your perfect stay. Andreas is an excellent chef, his kitchen is worth repeat meals. Oh and you can ski/ snowboard straight from the hotel! Perfect winter escape…

4 stars We stayed here for 3 nights during our trip to Italy. Firstly, I'd like to say the views here are mind blowing and out of this world. A highlight of the apartments are undoubtedly the panoramic windows, with a phenomenal view of the Dolomites and the surrounding area. The sunsets were particularly sublime, and we saw the most dramatic lightning show. Request for unit #2. It's where we stayed and had an unobstructed view. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors for outdoor/indoor living. I’d describe our suite as a "minimal chic modern cabin" with exposed wood everywhere. Breakfast always came with a view whether being served in our room or upstairs in the contemporary dining lounge. Freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing and the fruits were fresh. It also came with homemade granola, deli meats, cheese, and bread. A well-rounded breakfast for you to energize before exploring the mountains. There was a sauna beside the rain shower which we used a couple of times. It was certainly a luxurious touch. However, there are a few things that would have made this a 5-star stay instead of a 4. It's family-run and the family does lives upstairs. - Would have been great to have complimentary water in our room or fridge. - The food at the restaurant was delicious, however my risotto came lukewarm. - The complimentary toothbrush had brown water stains on it and the toothpaste was missing. - There was no temperature control settings noticeable in the room which made it stuffy at times. - The blankets provided must have been for winter because it was waaaayy too thick which on top of the stuffy room made it uncomfortable at times. - Lighting situation could have been split between the bedroom and bathroom entrance area, however there was only one light switch to control the entire upstairs. - The heated floor system was turned off which made my feet a bit cold, I’m sure this feature would be amazing in the wintertime. Overall, I would recommend this place for couples especially looking to get away. The clientele were definitely older and stayed for at least 3-4 days.

The Anders Mountain Suites has been recently renovated with a great attention to details. The guest feels at home and has a full sense privacy as there are only 7 suites. The view is breath taking. Highly recommended!
