"It’s also worth it to make the quick drive or bus ride over to Anderson Ranch Arts Center, founded in Snowmass 1966, to explore its outdoor sculpture exhibition and attend a variety of lectures and workshops."

Google
Anderson Ranch if an experience. What a great time taking classes, interacting with artists and growing in art as a community. I couldn't speak higher about the faculty and the facilities. I was there a week and already miss the experience.

This facility is hosting artists aligned with the the far right movement in the United States, and not only that they are getting comments by those who point this out.

Visited for the Halloween spooktacular event and we were blown away, these guys went above and beyond the call of duty. My 2 year old daughter loved it and their witches brew as well.

It is a very fun place to go with your art students! We were able to join classes and even create artwork with our students. This has to be one of the best places that advocates the need for the visual arts. It is located in a beautiful picturesque ranch. The students can learn a multitude of visual arts media. I hope I can take my art students again next year!

Anderson Ranch was such an incredible experience. We took our students on a field trip and I will definitely be going back as an individual.

Yelp
I took a Digital Media Class with Larry Jordan (well known in the editing world) last Summer and couldn't have been more pleased. Not only was the class perfect, well structured, and well equipped, but Anderson Ranch is just one of the most wonderful places to spent a week of vacation, while learning something cool and enjoying the Colorado mountains. The dorms a a bit sparse, but that isn't a complaint:-) Meeting very nice people, you wont spent much time in the dorm anyway. I saw the pottery people pull all-nighters all the time. It is just so much fun to do your own studies, watch others do very creative stuff (painting, wood work, pottery, etc.), and enjoy evening speakers events with truly inspiring Artists. They have a great cafeteria (with a delicious changing menu, always incl. a vegetarian option), a meeting hall, store with art materials and art pieces from the ranch, child care, and more. Each course had its own ranch house. Very cool! I hope I can be back soon, for another class.

Yelp
If you love creating art, Anderson Ranch is the place to come. I have been here twice for week-long summer workshops and I can't recommend it more highly. First, it's a beautiful setting near Aspen. You can get good rates on accommodations in the summer, which is their low season or you can stay at the ranch in the dorms. The ranch is beautiful and the workshops are excellent. They bring in some of the most talented artists to teach ceramics, sculpture, wood working, print making, photography, painting and more. It's a place for creativity and exploration. Plus the food is good and the environment is inspiring.

Yelp
This is an amazing facility in a beautiful setting. I took a sculpture class here and it blew my mind. They have world-class artists coming to teach and the studio coordinators are ready and available to help you realize your project (like show me how to use all the heavy machinery in the back of the sculpture studio). the staff do a great job of promoting community among the residents and students.
