Anderson's Harbour Cottages

Fabulous location - an amazingly well equipped comfortable cottage with a pretty garden. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anderson Harbour Cottages will certainly book again when we return to Orkney!

We stayed at 4 South End for two weeks in May 2024. The house was perfect in every respect; clean and fresh, modern conveniences and superb views of the Sound. Unlike some properties we have stayed in, the rooms were actually better and larger than we had been expecting. Orkney itself was enchanting, but that is for another review. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful and very well equipped house on Stromness harbour wall. Really comfortable beds and everything we needed in the kitchen.

A simple review: Location 10 Amenities 10 Comfort 9 Cleanliness 10 Value for money 10 Would I recommend, unequivocally yes. Before I forget, the Stromness museum is an unexpected delight and the Highland Park distillery visit should be on everyone’s bucket list.

Have stayed in two of the cottages both very comfortable and very well equipped . They are perfectly positioned on the harbourside in the historic heart of Stromness , we are going back in 2020.

What can we add to perfection, absolutely amazing cottage,we had 40 Alfred st, We walked in to this amazing and quite spectacular home,every thing you need,right down to shower gel,hand lotion, tea,coffee,every thing you could think of,amazing sea views, close to all amenities, beautiful walks,great for pets,fantastic communication between us and Rosemary, wonderful lady,definitely recommend and definitely book again,,absolutely stunning 😍

Absolutely beautiful house has everything you will need beautiful view out of the sitting room will fit 8 people no problem would highly recommend it

Fantastic 100% ....this place is special warm, clean, comfy, well stocked the bathrooms are all ensuite x4 stocked with every shower gell in each bathroom large bedrooms x4 good quality sitting room a quiet room just off the kitchen where you can watch the ships,boats come and go .....recommended for your stay in stomness, (if the place was any closer to the sea you would be getting your feet wet)
