ANDo&CAFE tas+minakami

An excellent surprise. It's a small restaurant with a very simple, yet delicious menu. The chicken curry was very good. It is served with soup. For dessert, I ordered a cheese cake. It was soft, creamy, and sweet: a perfect balance. The atmosphere is very relaxing. You can have lunch inside or outside on the deck, while watching the river. I would totally recommend this place.

Great food amd coffee. On a brand new large terrace looking over the river. This place is run by a proper chef. As he prepares every dish on the spot it takes a bit longer but it’s absolutely wonderful. We had sandwiches and curry rice. This is one of the few places that actually uses really nice bread. The sandwiches overall were superb. The curry was great too. Not too spicy but not too mild either. Don’t forget to order coffee. The latte is amazing. Forgot to ask what beans he uses.

When someone says sandwich... this is what they mean! The sandwiches were absolutely delicious 😋. It was one of the best I've ever had. I had the BLT and my husband the Beef steak sandwich. No picture... as we were hungry

A lovely little spot at the base of Tanigawa mountain and right across from Doai station. It is Ando-san’s (the Minakami local owner) passion project, and you can really feel that. He’s a talented chef, creating tasty meals, sweets, and coffee. I haven’t stayed in the Glamping facility yet, but will be using it for personal visioning retreats for coaching clients from this year.

Ordered beef steak hot dog and it was superb! Really recommend to everyone.

Great place with nice food (the cheesecake was awesome !), friendly owners and a clean and peaceful atmosphere right by the river !

Ando-san is a great chef who uses top quality ingredients. The cafe is a lovely relaxing place to spend some time, and the glamping "tents" are extremely comfortable. Great place to reconnect with nature!

Very tasty coffee and dessert. Great service. Their glamping looks very nice, located in riverside. If you come this area by train for a day visit, come a bit early for JR train and enjoy a nice rest.
