Absolutely loved this hotel and would recommend it in a heartbeat. It is pricey, but feels worth it.
The grounds are incredibly beautiful. You're so close to the city, and yet you hear none of it, with the hotel being situated high above the city center.
The service is excellent. Maria, the concierge, spent a lot of time with us helping us pick the perfect hike, booking a taxi to take us there and back, and booking dinner reservations for us. We loved her energy and willingness to help.
We had a garden room on the third floor with a huge porch overlooking the beautiful grounds and mountains. The room was clean, we'll equipped, and spacious. The indoor pool and spa were a nice treat, and breakfast was expensive but pretty tasty -- a great way to fill up before a long day of hiking in the mountains!
Beds were super comfy, and the hotel was quiet, so we got great sleep. We appreciated the robes, slippers, and toiletries provides. (Although the slippers were too small for my husband 😂)
The hotel also seemed very kid friendly. We weren't traveling with a child, but we saw many families there who were. Kids were allowed in the pools (I think the pool staff even provided pool toys) and allowed to climb on the rocks outside. Andorra overall, too, seems like a kid-friendly place.
Hotel is dog friendly too.
We booked 2 nights but I really wish we could have stayed longer! The hotel was so picturesque, and Andorra is such a beautiful place with so much character. We will be back!
