Great Peruvian food. The camaronez Cuzco and skirt steak were absolutely delicious as well as the guacamole in sweet plantain cups. Highly recommend.

Edit: came on a Sunday to try brunch and we were a little confused. So you don’t have to pay the $25 for the 90 minute bottomless drinks. You can just order the food with respective prices. For example the. Chaufa especial is $24. If you want the meal plus the bottomless drinks is it would be $49 plus tax. The restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. You must try their lunch specials and the sauce gives it a nice kick. It’s a hidden chicken treasure :) Enjoy!!!

What a wonderful surprise this place is wonderfully decorated from the glassware to the walls, no details were forgotten even the bathroom looks great. Now the food, we had apps that were like full meals. The leche de trigueros was my favorite but everything was tasty and authentic. Don’t forget to try their pisco sour with that tangy but sweet chicha morada flavor!

I have been to many peruvian restaurants in Queens, but what has amazed me the most is that here you can eat really, really well, authentic Peruvian flavor. Chef Ruben, very kind and polite, patiently explained to us the fresh ingredients he uses to make each dish. As a Peruvian, I feel proud to know that at Andrea I can taste an excellent Señor Ceviche, a lomo saltado and tallarines a la huancaina. The waitresses are very nice and helpful. Recommended.👏👏👏 P.S. They have good lunch menu Monday through Friday

Absolutely the worse experience I've EVER had. I walk in 10 mins before 10pm and I ask for a table for 2. The server asks the other server something and they finally sat us down. Once we sat down, our server gave us the menu and said that the kitchen was closing in 9 minutes. It was extremely weird because on maps it currently says they closed at 11pm. We ordered our food (which was a lot) 1 app, 2 mains and 3 sides. They end up sending the food all at once. BUT what made the whole experience feel rushed was when they started putting the chairs on top of the tables BEFORE we even got the food. Once the food hit the table they started putting ALL the chairs up INCLUDING the ones that were surrounding us WHILE we we ate. They also swept the floors and even turned off all the lamps. As a paying customer you should NEVER feel rushed on your meal ESPECIALLY if it's one hour before closing. Once I saw this I immediately asked for the check because I felt extremely uncomfortable. I asked the server what time they closed and she said that they changed their times. IF that's the case then guests should be told that at the beginning of the service, NOT at the end. If you want to have a rushed and uncomfortable experience at a restaurant COME HERE.

We purchased a groupon... and the waitress redeemed the groupon... after we placed our order they advised us that they cut ties with Groupon. We were out of the money paid on groupon and no meal as the manager refused to serve us. There was no sign and no communication prior to us ordering. The manager threatened to have the waitress pay for the meal out of pocket. Completely dismissed us. We left the place with no dinner and a bad taste in our mouths. The worse customer service I have ever encountered. Very sad as we really enjoyed the food there.

pio pio prices not worth it. the food is great just very slow service and way way overpriced. i dont mind paying if food is good. but to pay almost double is ridiculous. i ask for 1/2 chiken combo is 30+ when full chicken combo is 40. wtf. they have a great and tasty product. but to take advantage of that no sir. pio pio isnt this expensive

So we come back full circle, I'm about to enjoy the crap out of this meal because this is my go too kind of place when I visit relatives in Maspeth, my go to dishes here are still arroz chaufa mixto, jalea, ceviche de corvina (with the spice on the side), even the damn chicken is up there with Pio Pio. Just imagine my disappointment when I end up back at my favorite place to find out the servers suck. I tried for the first time the causa de papá with shrimp, phenomenal dish, i was a bit confused at how fast the ceviche was brought out. But i didn't mind i started taking some bites. Idk about you guys, but i am a big taste blender, i like mixing certain dishes to elevate flavor. It's my preference, either way the ceviche and the arroz chaufa mixto were entrees. The waiter came up to me after we made eye contact at least 5 times, clearly he understood there was a problem, he comes to the table and says "is everything all right?" My reply was calm and gentle "yes, we are just waiting for the arroz chaufa" the next sentence might amaze some of you, others it might not: "I was waiting for you to finish your Ceviche so I can put the other order in" I looked at my partner in shock. Why are you waiting for me to finish my food? If our order is not complete that is all you need to be concerned with. Needless to say we waited over an hour for some arroz chaufa, at this point I'm livid. My kid is fuzzy because she wants rice too. I will probably come back because the food is just that good, but I really hope this restaurant refreshes the staff or manages the expectations of the waiters. Also if you are counting and handling cash, please, wash your hands. Those tips your counting while your chef is desperately ringing the bell for food to be picked up. The place changed up the decor, it's nothing crazy but the most important aspect is still the food for me. Do better guys.

I just came out from this restaurant very disappointed, the only good in that restaurant is the waitress, I went in and it was empty, it never thought it was because something was wrong with it, I ordered a jalea and my friend entraña with French fries. The jalea was not seasoned at all and they had used old oil, Although I am not Peruvian, I am a frequent customers in Peruvians restaurant. Taste was awful!!! And let me tell you about the entraña (steak) and French fries, no doubt the potatoes were fried in the same old oil, the meat had to taste at all. Waitress was excellent, but the taste if food horrendous, first and last time for me, owners should be more careful and pay more attention to what they serve to people, I paid the food and walked out, not recommended at all!!!

One of my pet peeves is when a place gives you a time to pick up ur food and when you get there it's not close to ready. Yesterday afternoon we ordered quite a bit of food, 2 whole chicken combos (a whole chicken, rice and beans, fries w hot dogs "salchipapas", maduros ) an order of mussels and a steak. When we placed the order we were told 20 min. We showed up in 20 min and were met w looks of confusion. Then a younger guy came out of the back and said "I'm sorry it's going to be about 20 min". I don't complain when it comes to food bc I don't need any extra seasoning on my food (spit, hair etc). After about 20 min or so the food came out. Now just to make mention, our bill was almost $200, we were pleasant with waiting. We went outside and chilled out. In my eyes they should have thrown us something for free. Maybe an appetizer or $10 of the bill. Just to say "sorry and thank you". But they didn't. The food was all delicious and 5 stars. I couldn't eat enough of it. The chicken was juicy and tender, the mussels were great and the rice and beans were perfect. None of my complaints were about the food, strictly the service was my issue.

Delicious food. There is a new location (318 Grand St. Brooklyn), love their outdoor dining, they wear face masks and give you hand sanitizer right before starting your meal. Very cautious and care for their customers expe Drinks are amazing! Happy Hour drinks on weekdays 3-6pm. Buy one get one free!

In response to who ever you are which clearly doesn't matter two months later!! As far as you stating that I should have done my research!! Clearly I should have read the reviews and stayed away.. I have eaten at plenty of Peruvian Restaurants before, my review was that there was more onions and tomatoes than chicken, yes it clearly came with rice & fries, but that was not the issue!! Next clearly!! Read the reviews properly before you answer!! & proof read what you write!!!

Stopped in to try Dinner. Had half chicken combo. Rice and beans and salad with avocado. Also had a Caipirinha mixed by our waitress Lady. Chicken was great! Juicy crispy and sizable. The salad fresh and well dressed. Lady couldn't be more amicable and attentive. It was great! In fact it was great leftover as well! Still juicy. I will be back. Go give it a try it's off the beaten path but easy to find!

Staying at a hotel in Queens and found this in Yelp. I decided to just get the half chicken so I could taste their specialty. The waitress who greeted me was extremely friendly considering our interaction lasted all of 30 seconds. By the time I got back to the hotel the smell was driving me crazy and I couldn't wait to tuck in. It was delicious! Very tender, and the skin was crispy despite being in a to-go container. My only complaint, and this is minor, is that the plastic fork and knife provided were fairly flimsy, but they did the job. I'm here a few more days and may have to stop in to try other items (I brought a menu back with me to peruse)

I'm a Peruvian food lover and this restaurant did not disappoint. I joined my close friends on Monday evening who are regulars to celebrate the birthday of another great friend and it was so worth it. There was a total of seven of us including two children. My friends already had the menu down packed since they visit all the time and by the end of the night I understood why. Drinks: The sangria is delicious. Appetizers: For the babies we ordered an order of salchipapas which was a good portion for both of them, along with some adult fingers dipping into it lol, the green spicy sauce is a must I can drink it on its own lol - the fries were hot and perfectly crispy, we continued to order calamari for the adults and it was so good, - good portion, not fishy or gummy which is a good indicator of the food not being old and well cooked. Main course : My friends made the perfect suggestion for the group and we were all satisfied with the amount of food served but most importantly the flavorrrrrr was amazing. For the main course we had two orders of the andrea combo which comes with with two servings of rice, beans, two chickens, and a salad . We also ordered an arroz chauffa de camarones (shrimp fried rice) adjoined with sides of tostones and maduros. I am a vegetarian so I had the chaufa with the salad, there were subtle notes of ginger in the fried rice which was absolutely delicious, the salad had a great vinaigrette and the maduros were on point. Dessert : We told the waitress it was our friends birthday so she suggested the tres leches and after dinner she brought it over with a candle and they played a birthday song over the radio - our friend was happy. The service was good but the food speaks for itself, I will surely be back with my husband and family. My friends can sign me up anytime they want to eat here again I am there!

Local/hidden Peruvian spot. I've ordered take out twice and the food was pretty good. The combos are probably your best bet. Prices could be a little cheaper but I guess everything is super expensive now. Get ready to pay 4% extra if you use a credit card. Also parking is pretty much non existent, you might get lucky by the highway and just walk.

Had an amazing, delicious, romantic and fun dinner here tonight. First time here. Had the rotisserie chicken combo with rice and beans and avocado salad. Everything tasted great - we ended up ordering another order of everything to take home and have for lunch tomorrow. The service and ambiance was also perfect. The waitstaff was so friendly to us and the music was eclectic and perfect- they happen to play a le Tigre song in the mix that happened to be a song my partner and I used to listen to when we were dating sixteen years ago. Would definitely recommend this place.

While i should appreciate this is like the only other hispanic restaurant in Maspeth it pisses me off when you have an issue and they dont resolve it considering they are here for you and we (IN MASPETH) are literally your only customers. I ordered the lunch chicken combo at 1:05pm, delivered by 1:52pm (i was on a conference call so i asked the delivery guy to leave on my steps). After my call i check my food and no green sauce with my chicken combo. I called at 2:34 for the green sauce to be delivered and he said sure he would send it. I called at 3:09 again to inquire and he got pissed and said in Spanish "i already sent the guy" & hung up. Oh okay. You just lost a customer and everyone else in Maspeth who i know orders from you that will know about your rude customer service. Thanks for the very mediocre meal with no green sauce and sorry to CAUSE YOU THE INCONVENIENCE for the fact that you forgot a part of my meal. Needless to say the sauce never came. Never ordering again. Good luck with your business and crappy customer service. UPDATE: ***So at 4:30PM I have "Cynthia" from the restaurant call me and text me. Um intrusive much? 1) if you wanted to offer me the sauce 3 hours later no thank you? 2) she sends me a screenshot of my order saying it was delivered. No shit sherlock..it was delivered MINUS THE GREEN SAUCE, did you not clearly see my complaint. 3) Why are you calling and texting your customers back 3 hours later after you saw my Yelp review? Why didn't you address my concern when I called nice and sweet hours ago. 4) Just let it be. You all cleary have horrible reviews in the same category : customer service when it comes to wrong food orders. Take the feedback and use it to save your restaurant..your customers are not the issue so dont focus on me and my bad review..focus on all 15-20 bad reviews that say you all were rude when trying to correct or fix an order.

My review is only on delivery since I never been to the actual restaurant. I called to place my order and the girl who answered was really nice and told me it would take 30-40 minutes for the delivery and she was right on. I ordered the lomo salteado (beef, onions, tomatoes and French fries with white rice) and the chaufa mixta (Peruvian fried rice with beef, chicken and shrimp) I have to say both dishes were really good and the flavors were great. Their portions are pretty large and you will have plenty of leftovers. I will be ordering from here again since I want to try their other items.

Service was excellent and it was some of the best rotisserie chicken I've had in a long time! That green sauce is crack.

I've eaten at Peruvian restaurants across the country, and this is one of the better ones. Great food, great service, great atmosphere, good prices. My coworker and I both enjoyed our meals, and will be coming back.

You would not know it's Peruvian or Latin-American cuisine because it's the restaurant 's name. The restaurant is in Maspeth, NY of Queens (NYC). But it is very true to its food reputation of Latin or Peruvian. The food was specially crafted and flavor to its means. They have a good amount of vegetarian dishes and good around seafood selections. The plantains we're my #1 and one of the appetizers with potatoes and special sauce with boiled eggs we're delicious. The atmosphere is very classy yet upscale with gender-neutral paintings and environmentally accepting. The staff speaks Spanish or Portuguese. The wine selections were great and their signature Sangria was superb. Their menu sections we're variety and easy to be read. The place is quiet. There weren't too many people there. I would recommend to those who have a very good craving for Peruvian food or want something a little more than just a familiar Spanish Food.

This is our 5th time and we normally don't write reviews on Yelp. This place! For us, This place is the exception! We love the customer service! The food... DELICIOUS! We consider ourselves foodies, and love to try new places. The reason we are regulars is because the food is consistent and the service is always top notch! The server (Keathleen) is not only friendly, but someone that knows how to make you feel special. Either she'll recommend dishes, or will remember your last order! This hidden gem is one that should NOT be overlooked. Don't be afraid to try: - Jalea de Mariscos. Deep fried seafood. It's unbelievable - Chaufa Mixto! Think of friend rice with seafood, beef, and chicken but with a unique blend of spices that will leave you wanting more! - Also... Sangria! Exquisite! Trust us! This place is spectacular!!!

Amazing food, very tasty. We went on a Friday night and the place was not packed nor empty. Good environment, great service and mostly great food. We got pollo a la brass combo and a jalea. The food was enough for all of us and the canchita was delicious. It was a great dinner

This place is a wonderful. Great food, great customer service. They are more than courteous on the phone. I catered from them for a conference and it's now a great go to place for many of the people at our church. They go above and beyond every time.

If I could give it zero stars I would , I use to like this place but it's definitely gone down hill . They forgot mine and my friends order the last time I went there to eat after a big party came in and didn't even acknowledge us we had to flag them down . Today I Gave them another shot and ordered delivery and part of my order is missing I called 4 times already being told someone is brining it 3 hours later and it's still not here . Terrible customer service , I'll never go back

I came here with a friend for dinner. We shared chicken rice and beans and fried rice special which had shrimp/ chicken/beef also we had a Peruvian salad all the food was very good, service was on point. Will definitely come back

Amazing. I always get steak and the chicken fried rice and always leave happy. Great sauces and also the chicken is great. Sometimes it takes a little longer for the delivery but it is definitely worth it.

Andreas Chicken is amazing!!!! Arroz chaufa con pollo delicious.... Tallarín saltado de pollo phenomenal and the fried calamari superb I can keep going but am going to let you guys go try it for yourself it's truly heavenly delicious food.

Great food, great price. We always order. The matador combo plate feeds the 4 of us with food to spare. Dont forget the green sauce. The chaufa which is a fried rice is delicious and so are the yucca fries.

We love this place, try the Pirihuela seafood soup, it's my new favorite. The rotisserie chicken is the best. So far everything we have tried is great.

Happy to say that after i gave Andreas another chance they definitely delivered! The food was much better the next time around and we might just be ordering from there again tonite!

My bf and I always order from here and its consistly good. The chicken is the best rotisserie chicken I've ever had, hands down, always most and so flavorful. Mind you this is coming from someone who doesn't like chicken because its just bleh. The ceviche is really good, I usually get the mixto. Never had an issue with the people who answer the phone, theyre always nice to me, delivery takes approx 30 min.

I usually order food from here for pickup or delivery, like chicken and yucca fries, and calamari. This time I dined in, and it was relaxing and delicious. Great place for dinner.

We paid $13.00 for a small whole roasted chicken with no sides, which I understood because I expected the chicken to be a decent size, nope. We were told it would be ready in five minutes, which turned into forty five minutes, with no apology no explanation. I think that's the last time I'll visit them.

This place is a little hidden gem in Maspeth. There is not a lot of variety for food in Maspeth and Andrea's chicken is a pleasant surprise. Every time i order the woman who answers the phone is really nice and repeats back your order to make sure it's right, your food comes hot to your home which is great because at least you know it's fresh. There is a great variety to choose from and every time I have ordered I have been satisfied. Huge portions and great flavor..everyone has their own opinions but everyone should definitely give this place a try!!

Wow!. I am amazed of how delicious this food is. I've been in different Peruvian Retaurants, and I can tell that this one is the best!. What really amazed me is that have Fillet Mignon Lomo Salteado. They called it LOMO FINO. Seriously, I have never hear of Fillet Mignon Lomo. Who ever came up with that idea is a genius. Keep it up Andrea you are doing great.

Very good Chicken, rice and beans combo with avacado salad. Also had a fried rice dish with chicken, shrimp, eggs, onions, peppers and beef. I believe it was called mixto. Another great choice. I'll be back.

How can a restaurant possibly be empty on a Friday night, and still take almost half hour to serve food for a group of 3? Because of the service and management. Totally not ready to be a high volume restaurant. I do not recommend this place unless you are going to be extremely patient and don't mind the lack of attention. Food is okay, you can do a whole lot better elsewhere

Great food.. Horrible phone service... The lady that answers is very nice, but the gentleman that answers as well needs manners and needs to learn customer sevice...very rude gentleman... Lost a costumer purely for that... Even when you walk in he looks at you as if your there to rob there chicken.... Good luck with business with an attitude like that !
