Añejo Tacos & Tequila

I have ordered take out from this business 3 times and have never had a good experience. I work in the shopping center, and have ordered a pickup a couple times. Every time the restaurant is empty and it takes over 5 minutes for someone to greet me. After I tell them about my order they disappear in the back for a long time and don’t come back after over 5 minutes. I even had to come to return food for it being overcooked and again had to wait an astronomical amount of time! This most recent time has made me not want to order ever again and made me want to make this post. I ordered at 6:15 pm and we did not get our order until approximately 7:20pm. Our order consisted of 3 sad steak tacos (which we had to ask for cheese on top and wanted us to pay extra for CHEESE), a large queso, a sad bag of chips (which we had to pay for), pork carnitas, street corn ( that I only took one bite of, and I love street corn) and rice that I had to spit out of my mouth. And all I can say was good was the queso… and our order costed us 61$ and are still waiting on our refund. DONT GO HERE

I’ve been here a handful of times now and I do enjoy their food. So delicious, and always well portioned. But, I know mentally now to not go on Fridays nor the weekend. The music was so loud I couldn’t even hear myself nor the person sitting next to me. Plus, I’ve had the same waiter three times now and he is not the nicest unfortunately. Still a great place when you want to try something new, the food is great and the ice cream is so good as well!

Ryan is the best! Absolutely love the restaurant and the great staff. Greatest restaurant in the Charleston area hands down. Bartender Ro, Waitress Maria, Peyton, Stephanie Managers; Andressa, Jason and others I can’t call by name means so much to me and my family. Stay true to the Anjeo way, I’ll always be there.

I found myself out in Monks Corner on the way back from visiting a friend and decided that I was in the mood for some Mexican food... Boy was I in luck! The prices on the menu were very reasonable especially for lunch. Me and a friend ordered and the food came out in about 5 minutes, I kid you not! Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly as well. The paintings on the walls were gorgeous and the atmosphere was great! I recommend this place very highly and if I ever end up out that way I'll see you there!

I came here for my birthday and it was such an awesome experience. The manger Ryan was so nice and came to check up on our table twice. The cocktails were amazing and the waitress had really great recommendations on food! I will be retuning 💜

Ryan was an amazing bartender! Couldn’t decide on what I wanted but he didn’t hesitate to give me options of my liking. His service was superb, I’ll be back to see him soon

Atmosphere is the only good part. We came on a slow Thursday. I feel like we were forgotten about a few times, when we left we were only people there. Service was meh. Apparently they were out of cilantro and didn’t tell me when the item specifically says cilantro rice. “We’re out of cilantro but it’s made with the same stuff” Dude it was white rice, no reason to bs me. Food honestly was mid. I miss good Mexican food, where is it in SC?

I come here all the time but tonight my server Cynthia really stole the show. Her service was quick and prompt and she was very personable. Food was good per usual but she really made it an experience. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll definitely ask for Cynthia.
