I brought back a jewellery item that had stones falling out as soon as it came out of the packet.
This shop has the worst customer service ever. If I could give 0 stars I would!
Needless to say, because of the poor quality of jewellery, I did not want an exchange, just a refund of my £25.
They refused with a number of excuses - most of which contradicted each other such as 1)‘health & safety means I can’t return the necklace’ (I can’t return and get a refund, but I can return and exchange! Hmmm). 2)’The receipt says no returns’ )when I challenged to say my money was taken and I was not given a receipt and does this mean the intention is that the sale is not going to be declared to HMRC, he quickly hid the receipt book and didn’t mention it again) 3) ‘we are just staff you need to get a refund from the owner. Come back tomorrow or next week’. I refused to leave as for me it is a 2hr round trip to get there. I asked about 7 times for them to call their manager and put him on loud speaker. They eventually did and he had another lot of reasons such as it was alright when you left the shop, this has never ever happened before, I will repair it blah blah blah. When he realised he could bamboozle me he cut me off saying ‘I don’t want to speak to you anymore’ and said something to his staff in their language. He told them to refund me. THEN one of the men the older one with the turban on, tried to hand me £20 cash rather than £25 and said to me ‘It’s from my own pocket please please take’. I requested my full refund and called him out for lying to me face, less than 2 minutes ago his boss was on loud speak saying to refund! He ignored me, stare at me and continued to hold out £20 for what felt like 5 minutes. I refused to take it and kept insisted on the full refund. He eventually got the additional £5 and I took the amount from the counter. I was going back and forth with them for about 20 mins!!
This was such a disgusting display of how this shop treats its customers. Happy to take your money but be warned if there is an issue with their product, they won’t want to rectify and try to intimidate you. I had to deal with all this for a £25 purchase, I dread to think what the would be like if I had spent £200!!!!
I shop on Fonthill Road regularly and will never buy from ‘Angel Forever’ again.
They have a wide range of POOR quality jewellery. I don’t recommend them even for dresses, because many of the dresses are the same as in the other shops on the Road at different prices.
Walk straight past .
