The service was extremely friendly and truly top-notch. From the moment I arrived – the reception, the restaurant staff, the waiters, and even the chefs who occasionally walked by – everyone greeted guests with a warm smile. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of the entire time. The place itself is beautiful and full of character. I ordered the beef tartare and some drinks. The cocktails were excellent, and the tartare was the best I’ve had in Italy – finely chopped, perfectly seasoned, served on delicious toasted brioche with a perfectly cooked egg on top. A special thank you to Giancarlo, who made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to make my experience perfect. I had a lovely, enjoyable evening and will definitely be coming back!

This is the rooftop of the Calimala Hotel, extremely well located in the heart of Florence city center, and with breathtaking views from the terrace to the main architectural attractions (duomo, palazzo vecchio, Santa Croce, etc) with cool and modern style cozy places where to sit for a drink. Features a bar, restaurant, pool, terrace and sofas well distributed and perfect for a photo session. The restaurant is big but tables are to tight so waiters and guests might have problems moving through the corridors. Food was amazing, the Arab sauces trio, the carpaccio, the seafood mix, the vegetarian bistecca, etc. Waiting time to receive all was amazingly short, only 15 min to have your table full of well done and presented dishes. Said this, the only negative point I would highlight is the service. Quite basic, young staff you have to seek out to be served, informal attitudes unbecoming a 4 star hotel, expressions like "dimmi, bella" or "cosa?" Which translate to "what?" Are not worthy of a premium experience. They need to train their stadd to live up to the standards of the stablishment they represent. Despite that, excellent experience.

We photographed a welcome party at Angel Rooftop Bar in Florence for L & D’s pre-wedding day, and it was truly unforgettable. The evening was magical, with incredible views over the old city and a breathtaking panorama of Florence. The food was elegant and delicious, and one of the highlights was watching a perfectly authentic pizza being made right in front of the guests. Such a fun and unique touch. It was an experience the couple and their guests will always remember.

We spent a perfect evening here. The food was cooked just right. We ordered the fish tartare, shrimp pasta, fish fillet with fried potatoes, and tiramisu. Everything was prepared beautifully. The restaurant is located on the rooftop (5th floor) of the hotel, offering an unobstructed view of Palazzo Vecchio in Piazza della Signoria. The atmosphere is young, lively, and trendy, with a DJ playing urban/tech music, it’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset. The service was outstanding! At the front desk, we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly lady with dark curly hair. Once upstairs, every staff member was both professional and kind. They even treated us to a few shots to celebrate our first visit to Florence. Truly an unforgettable experience! We will be back❤️

Angel Roofbar was fabulous from the moment we arrived. We hadn’t booked but they fitted us in on a great table on the upper level with a fantastic view over the city, offered an umbrella when the sun came down in our eyes, and let us stay far longer than we originally planned as we decided to have food! The service was friendly and impeccable from every member of staff, the wine was amazing, and the cheese and charcuterie board perfect - they even catered for my cow dairy allergy with no drama. Plus when I forgot to take a wine coaster as a keepsake of our first night in Florence, they happily brought one downstairs to the hotel entrance when we returned the next day! I can’t recommended this place highly enough.

We were recommended to eat here by my fiancée's friend who had visited about a year ago. I wanted to do a dinner here to cap off a busy day which started with us getting engaged! The communication with the restaurant was extremely smooth and the entire staff was so kind and friendly to us knowing we'd just gotten engaged earlier that day. Service was top notch and the food and drinks were excellent! The view was stunning with the sunset and the vibes immaculate. Small tip: be prepared for some delicious leftovers if it's just two people eating the giant meat celebration dish 😂

Wow. I was surprised and blown away when I arrived with such a lovely atmosphere with DJ playing live music at Rooftop bar. Amazing Ambience, tasteful deco, great food and summer breeze. While the fries was abit cold, the beef and pasta were so delicious. Our waiter, Mr Virgilio was top notch. Highly recommended!!

Amazing rooftop - great view and drinks! Highly recommended to book in advance as the place is very popular! Loved the music as well. Next time will stay at the hotel for sure
