Angela's Shoreline Restaurant

Restaurant didn’t seem to be the cleanest. Menu was large but many items seemed to be from the freezer - fries were not homemade and the gravy didn’t taste homemade either. The battered shrimp were also store bought. The scallops and cod are fresh though! The ladies working there were very friendly. I also thought the price was a bit high for what we had ordered, considering the quality and quantity of the food. Considering everything, I would choose somewhere else to eat in Burgeo.

Nice spot to stop for an ice cream after the beach! Service is friendly and the place is quaint. The food is average and a bit greasy, but good.

Friendly and courteous staff. Salty, greasy grub to please the soul. Exactly what I want before the 4 hour ferry ride to Francois or the 2 hour car ride back to the trans Canada. Prices are fantastic!

The pea soup was very good. I loved the potato skins and the rolled ice cream.

Waited an hour for Fish & Chips. First piece was good, second was okay and third wasn't good. Wasn't impressed with frozen fries. Sever never came to check in, had to go to kitchen to ask for tartar sauce. Other tables weren't cleared off. Only 6 people in the restaurant total so didn't look overly busy. Also couldn't do rolled ice cream which was disappointing.

We ended up 2 hours out of our way due to a faulty GPS after getting off the ferry, and happened upon this gem. It was simple decor with amazing food and great customer service. We received more than enough food and it was priced well. I would definitely recommend this little restaurant where you are there on purpose or you end up there by accident.

Friendly service and a menu that features options that go beyond deep-fried. The home-made pea soup is excellent. After supper, you may be able to score a serving of their well-known rolled ice cream. The salted caramel is a great choice.
