"Stunning rooftop views of Leeds, anyone? This central bar presents a menu full of tempting high-end dishes and an equally enticing range of cocktails. Whether you're heading out for dinner or just drinks, Angelica's definitely a 'dress to impress' kind of place. Located in Trinity Leeds, which is full of tasty street food and chain restaurants, Angelica is the place to go for something with a little more pizzaz. Their new management team has transformed the offering, developing a brand new drinks menu based on Leeds' heritage. From cocktails inspired by Kirkstall Abbey to drinks named after the original name of Leeds' settlement - the fascinating origination of these cocktails is a great reflection of Leeds' history. Stop by and check of the menu for an inspiring selection of tipple - but we definitely recommend chatting to the bar staff to find out even more about these intricately developed cocktails." - DS.Emotion

I called in today early ish for a little light breakfast 09.30 hrs. According to the web page it was closed. Large Cappuccino £4. Made with whole milk and good roast coffee beans. Decent price. BREAKFAST SANDWICH Warmed, buttered ciabatta, with a choice of THREE ingredients. Served with a side salad. Choose from: Back bacon, Cumberland sausages, vegan sausages, black pudding, hash brown, fried egg, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, roast Med veggies. £10 2 x sausages cut length ways in half, egg, roast Med veggies. The appearance was lovely. Small pot of salad with drizzle of vinaigrette and a small wedge of grapefruit. Nice touch. For a tenner. Honestly I thought that was a little pricey. The cutlery was a little dirty. Tea spoon "looked" like it had been used, possibly. My knife had finger prints on the blade. I'm not joking. The seating was exceptionally nice with leather button back chairs and good quality tables. If it wasn't for the cutlery issue I would given a solid 4 stars. Toilets were a little cramped and just a few feet from the dining area. Embarrassing, for those who prefer a more private bathroom. But, nice and clean with a good hand dryer.

Called for lunch to try this lovely new place. Lunchtime menu not that great. Unless you choose salad or the brunch menu which we didn’t fancy, everything comes with chips. They did however give us extra salad instead of chips. Neither of us are chip fans, especially at lunchtime when wanting a light bite. The salad was fresh but boring. No dressing, just leaves and half a cherry tomato each. We both had chicken gyro. While we both enjoyed it, it was nothing whatsoever like the description in the menu. It had a spicy Cajun taste, lots of sauce and had Mediterranean vegetables, exactly as described in the Cajun chicken ciabatta but in a wrap. When I queried it the waitress insisted it was a gyro. Strangest gyro I’ve ever had. Whatever it was however it was delicious. We wouldn’t go again at lunchtime but will be back to try the evening menu. Decor great as was the service.

Tried Angelicas the new restaurant in Brighouse for the first time this evening. What a lovely ambiance, really comfortable seating , plenty of space between tables and excellent variety on the menu. The staff have obviously had really good training, extremely polite and very attentive. We tried a variety of starters and mains and they were all cooked to perfection and very tasty. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, the staff sang happy birthday whilst bringing him a slice of cake. Would definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you

Nice decor but both starters and mains were very poor. Food had little to no flavour and my husband’s food was left uneaten as it was basically a plate of plain pasta. Service was very poor due to inexperienced staff. After we finished nobody cleared our table for over 15 minutes. Waste of a date night. Would not return.
