"Angelica, Leeds by DS.Emotion. Stunning rooftop views of Leeds, anyone? This central bar presents a menu full of tempting high-end dishes and an equally enticing range of cocktails. Whether you're heading out for dinner or just drinks, Angelica's definitely a 'dress to impress' kind of place. Located in Trinity Leeds, which is full of tasty street food and chain restaurants, Angelica is the place to go for something with a little more pizzaz. Their new management team has transformed the offering, developing a brand new drinks menu based on Leeds' heritage. From cocktails inspired by Kirkstall Abbey to drinks named after the original name of Leeds' settlement - the fascinating origination of these cocktails is a great reflection of Leeds' history. Stop by and check of the menu for an inspiring selection of tipple - but we definitely recommend chatting to the bar staff to find out even more about these intricately developed cocktails."

On the sixth floor of the Trinity arcade shopping centre. The two additional flights of stairs are well worth it. Fantastic views of Leeds. A wide range of cocktails and a few beer options thrown in make it a great place to stop by if you are close. I opted for the Pinky Promise cocktail, surprisingly came with candy floss.

This is in the heart of Trinity. A really fancy looking restaurant for celebrations. Service was prompt. Food was a bit of a let down with the taste but the dessert was divine. Good price for a three course meal, would be nicer if a drink was added.

Virgin experience day - Prosecco - was alright not great Starter - 0/5 gross salty mushy pea vibes Main - 5/5 chicken Pudding - 3/5 looked pretty didn’t taste of much bit of a let down. Gorgeous setting lovely place, we didn’t eat the starters both of us and still got asked to pay for one beer, the starters were not good.

Very nice place with good terrace view on Leeds. Inside restaurant looks pretty and modern. Perfect place for date. Staff are friendly and desserts is tasty. You can feel full flavour of food what you order. Defently will come back on next visit in Leeds.

We had a great bottomless brunch last week! I had to leave a review just because every single member of staff were so great! From bar to the runner staff and management, they really made the afternoon lovely and we will definitely be returning because they were so attentive and pleasant.

Noticed this place by accident looking through the roof of the Trinity shopping centre. What a lovely time we had. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. I loved the chilled out music. Excellent service from Charlotte and amazing food. I had fillet steak which was cooked just how I like it and was very tender and tasty. Will definitely be going back again.

We have been here quite a few times now and like to visit on a Thursday or Friday afternoon before the weekend crowds descend on the City centre. On our last visit we ordered a selection of nibbles to put us on and I think the choices we made were perfect . We especially liked the cod cheeks. John doesn't like Oysters but I couldn't resist the offer that they had on of 6 Lindisfarne Oysters and 2 glasses of @nyetimber for £34. The oysters were the biggest I have ever seen and they were yummy. Angelica's has a great happy hour that is actually 4 hours long. My favourite was the frozen pina colada and John opted for the frozen strawberry daiquiri. It's so nice to sit outside on the rooftop terrace and it's not a problem if it's a little chilly as there are heaters under the parasols.

Yelp
A lovely place boasting rooftop views of Leeds, with a nice outdoor area if you don't mind a little wind. The ambiance was great to experience after dinner at Crafthouse which is a floor below, however, it was slightly disappointing that there is quite a limited cocktail menu which was unexpected for such a bar. One of the cocktails was unavailable too, which is understandable. A good fit if you like particularly sweet yet well crafted cocktails

Yelp
Sticky honey toffee to die for! Really wouldn't recommend the chocolate eclair. They tasted a bit dry, almost like they weren't fresh. Not worth £7. Amazing outdoors setting and great view of Leeds city center.

Yelp
Really good cocktails - Angelica Punch is delicious! Bartender gave us perfect recommendations when we said what we wanted. Good urban views and elegant ambience. A little pricey but a perfect place for one or two in the afternoon/early evening.

Yelp
Myself and some colleagues joined for dinner and cocktails on Wednesday 25th and the team were fantastic! We were very well looked after, the cocktails were delicious and it was a very fun and comfortable vibe. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
Based on my last experience here, I can't not upgrade their rating to five stars. Of course, the expense of such a place is always relative to the quality of the libations received, the overall atmosphere, and the staff. And in this instance, all three arenas could hardly be criticised. My friend and I caught the private lift up and we were met cheerfully, and almost immediately, by one of the staff members. I reckon she must have been a manager of some kind, since she had an ear piece in, and she was more than adept to handle our specific cocktail fancies. I wanted a Tom Collins with an elderflower sort of twist, and she obliged without batting an eyelid. I'm not saying this is a really random request, but she just instantly new what I meant. Delightful! My companion desired a gin martini, dry as a bone, with no garnish. Of COURSE she nailed it. She stirred to perfection. She emptied the vermouth. She handled the slightly idiotic, random, laddish punters with grace and authority as she prepped our beverages: not rude, but firm with a smile -- they immediately ceased behaving like school boys. Did I mention how much I adore the roof garden? Heaters, blankets, and fairy-lit trees will accompany your evening tipples. We were lucky enough to be graced with an idyllic moon as we supped. The second round was just as delightful, in spite of being served by a different bar tender. These guys really are pro, in my opinion. Rest assured that you can order a fine cocktail, however you like, and these guys will ensure it's utterly top notch. (Albeit, pricey.) For my money, I'm happy to pay that extra couple o' quid.

Yelp
Fabulous roof terrace, great atmosphere and amazing views out over Leeds. Food was really reasonably priced and delicious and bottle of English sparkling was really good. Some people have commented it's a bit pretentious but I really enjoyed dining here and will be back.

Yelp
Right, as you head up the lift, remember that there are two sides to the pricing of this place. So many people I know have ran in fear from eating here thinking it will be pricey, food, no, kind of a gastro pub style menu I guess, a two course set menu monday-friday will only set you back £15, which you can't tell me it's bad unless you're a common wetherspoons frequenter. I'd been told this place was top dollar, but both times I've been, were with work, so I didn't particularly need to worry (hence the lack of photos, sorry guys!) but it was priced fairly average-ly, the non set menu mains in the all day dining, a main priced usually in the bottom of the teens. Most recently, I had deer carpaccio for starter, which was lovely, and steak frites for main, which was cooked to perfection. The cocktails here are excellent, the mixologists know their stuff, there can be a wait, but I think it's worth it. Considering how much ice is crammed into the drinks of many of the nearby places, i'd say it isn't too bad comparably. I found the staff completely pleasant when I was there (maybe I'm an up myself member of the clientele, and they're just 'my people' I don't know), never had an issue. Good drinks that will set you back a bit, good food that doesn't really, and the main reason for the high stars? The roof terrace that's well worth a look, get past the public blankets, which are lovely, but you don't want to think about who you're sharing with too much, (thanks, OCD friend!) heaters, and excellent views. Don't forget your wallet, don;t forget your coat.

Yelp
Gosh....I mean whoosh......I mean BLAZES that is NOT a cheap drink!! I'm still a little speechless after having ascended in a rather confused manner up the various dark and blank stairs to Angelica just before Christmas. Having reviewed my bank balance since then it would appear that those few (albeit excellent) cocktails we did very much enjoy as the black sky hurled murderous rain at the penthouse window could probably have paid for a new car if we'd behaved in a more prudent manner. But what ho! Unless you are one of those blessed people who literally can't spend their excess money enough each month without having pesky thousands left in the account then it's not likely Angelica will become your regular watering hole. So 4 stars it is then as a treat, a gilded and mirrored orifice of plump leather and beaming women designed with the sole purpose of sucking your wallet dry, and golly it does do it well. Pick any cocktail, quite simply any choice you make will taste sublime..although you may have to wait awhile whilst Fabio the Mixologist makes stylish love to each and every ingredient. Angelica loses one star not for the prices- hey I'm a 'with it' chick and I know this is not a Wetherspoons and that very fact is a large part of the treat, but for the overly attentive 'waitresses' who by the 4th or 5th rather intrusive 'are we alright, do we want anything, are we enjoying our cocktails' started to remind me strongly of the legend of The Grinning Man. Yes. Honest Love. I'm fine. I'm really really fine. Please. Please go away. STOP IT GRIN-ZILLA YOU'RE SCARING ME!!!!

Yelp
Angelica is a classy and glam bar right in the city, although being in a shopping centre in Leeds, once inside you feel like you could be in New York!... Cocktails are expensive but worth it compared to other pricey bars nearby. The atmosphere is great, a good place to start a Saturday night. The outside area is especially impressive - patio heaters and blankets are provided which adds a nice touch. I would give this bar 5* but the wait to get served on a Saturday night and lack of space means I can only give it 4.

Yelp
Hated it!!!!!! Staff and some of their clientele were so far up themselves. Drinks expensive too. Only good think was the balcony, which was comfortable and relaxing. Good on a summers day watching leed If you think of the women in Robert Palmer, Addicted to Love, skinny, wooden and miserable type looking waitresses in black outfits. No thanks!

Yelp
Great views. And that's where the plus points finish. Pretentious roof terrace bar complete with staff who are so far up their own rears they probably need a proctologist when they go home of an evening. Cocktails are 'meh', wine is 'meh', spirits are 'meh'... Meh.

Yelp
Don't even waste your money.. pretentious people, rude bartenders and a disgrace to Leeds and the food and beverage world ... venture outside of this place it's definitely not worth it!!!

Yelp
Great place to chill and eat. I've been here twice now and love the mix of oppulance and relaced dining. It is tricky to even spot the place exists (which I kinda like) but when you get there you find a fab view of leeds and you get a real sense of being somewhere a bit different, special and intimate. First trip was for oysters from ther fresh bar which were served beautifully simply and were superbly fresh and flavoursome. They do a great proseco to go with them. Main course burger, which was again a great taste experience. I love the attention to detail, watching the cocktails being made, the guys back there really care about how they taste and check, adjust and re-check over and over again,. I left the first time wanting to go back, so did. This time, ahi tuna starter and sashimi platter, Again, gorgeously fresh and zingy flavours and textures. Main courses were the catch of the day goujons and chips and I had to have the burger again. This for me is where I like angelicas, the 5* of the ahi tuna and oysters can sit alongside a gourmet burger without feeling out of place. From what I can tell, if you stay off the cocktails then the prices are actually not too bad. Dinner for two with drinks in the range of 50 to 60 pounds is good for what you get. I'll be back, again and again. why not 5 stars? Maybe something missing, not sure I can put my finger on it. I'll go back again and see if they get the extra star.

Yelp
Some of the reviews for this place are hilarious! I had heard this bar was cool and wanted to try, luckily there was no queue which was great. The bar was packed tables and standing! I didn't order drinks myself so can't comment on service but the drinks were presented nicely with a good range of cocktails. We headed outside and stepped onto the balcony which is great with dan views of leeds! Heaters and blankets made this all possible. I do understand the vibe from certain reviews as this bar is very much a place you go to be seen and seen spending lots of money. It's not a really chilled bar but up tempo and depends on your taste.

Yelp
My daughter went last night for friends birthday. Food excellent but service inexperienced and not trained to expectations. Annoying recurring theme of restaurants of charging to serve own birthday cake! Management did take concerns seriously though and she would return.

Miguel P.

Yelp
The place looks really nice, so some friends and I went there for brunch. We ordered off the brunch menu. Three of us got eggs Benedict. The eggs were tasteless, the bacon was soggy and undercooked, and the hollandaise sauce was clumpy. On top of that, it was literally freezing cold inside. Would not recommend!!

Yelp
Lovely place for a cocktail and not overly pricey. Great views and also a great bar menu with sushi! However I would not look to eat dinner here as it gets pretty busy and a bit too noisy for a meal
