8.90 euros for the hot chocolate without whipped cream, which is PRICEY AS HELL. to be fair, we walked in knowing this was a tourist trap and since we were already in the Palace and wanted a snack we were corralled over. long queue to enter restaurant, shorter queue for cafe, still abt 15 minutes wait though (as of 14 May 2025).
but the staff were sooo nice, I adored the cashier!! he was so bubbly and friendly and respectful, and very efficient while maintaining a jovial service. we each got a cup of hot chocolate and shared a crossaint (one more euro than the ones outside), I recommend getting the crossiant though because the chocolate really is watered down melted dark chocolate with a splash of espresso. It may be too thick and rich for some people!
seating inside was between three separate rooms, which were pretty spacious.
overall, it was a good experience, but it’s one of those things you do once, and then (probably) never again.
