We happened upon Angelina’s thanks to the Blue Water Org.’s wet your whistle challenge. Right in downtown Ubly, Suzanne and her son have created the cutest Italian restaurant inside a rustic cabin you could ever imagine. Her son brews beer as Hoco Brewery on the lodge side of the restaurant while Suzanne and staff prepare homemade Italian dishes in the kitchen.
Our party all started with the homemade sausage and tortellini soup, which came with a fresh baked loaf of Parmesan sprinkled bread and a side of butter. The ribs and wing combo and Calzone also showed up at our table. Every bite was full of flavor, tender, and delicious. They even have ricotta for a true calzone! We enjoyed these so much that we jumped right into eating and forgot to take pictures. Drinks and the beer were also well crafted and delicious, all served by friendly, attentive staff and a check in by Suzanne herself!
