I discovered Angeloni's in the midst of the pandemic as I was browsing pizza restaurants that I have yet to try. Needless to say, they proclaim they're famous for thin-crust pizza, and it's true: the thin crust pizza is to die for. My boyfriend and I have ordered pizza twice so far for pickup, and we've tried the mozzarella sticks, fried calamari, garlic bread, famous thinny thin pizza, Zingada pizza, and Michael's pizza (don't ask how we ate that much). The calamari and mozzarella sticks were nothing impressive, but nice if you need those extra sides for your Italian dinner.
The Zingada pizza indeed has a spicy kick to it (not super spicy, just a zest) which was really yummy, and you could really taste the crisp crust and cheese on the thinny thin cheese pizza. One thing that really surprised us was the portion of garlic bread we got for the $5.50 price. Since it was a side, we expected maybe 1 loaf or so of garlic bread, and was pleasantly surprised to open a separate pizza box FULL of garlic bread. Well worth the money. We couldn't finish it all, so we wrapped them up and put them in the fridge/freezer and toasted them at our heart's pleasure.
The only reason why I took one star off is because the two times we've ordered pick up at a certain time, they were always late and we were made to wait another 10-15 minutes. Usually, this was because they forgot a part of our order, or they made the wrong pizza (the first time, they gave us the wrong size and let us keep that one but we had to wait longer for the right order). Maybe we were just unlucky those two times, but I would definitely go back and support regardless because of how good the pizza is.
