Good diner! The country skillet (potatoes, gravy, and chicken fried steak) was excellent, 5/5. The French toast left a lot to be desired, texturally, but the raspberry sauce that they use for the scones and French toast is great (though slightly too sweet). Although the scones are a signature for their menu, I ended up liking their pancakes more than their scones and French toast. The cinnamon roll has an amazing texture, but the icing is far too sweet (which makes the whole thing barely edible for me). Service was excellent and very fast!

Angie’s is a staple in Logan. Good old home cookin’. They have a large menu with great choices and breakfast all day. If you are from Logan you will understand the challenge of eating “the kitchen sink.” It is a huge ice cream serving that earns you a bumper sticker if you finish.

Google
I'd recommend getting something from their breakfast menu if you go, or maybe a burger and fries or a sandwich. The salad I got was fine, and my wife's steak & shrimp was fine too, but we both felt like the breakfast is probably where the value was at.

Google
It was good. I normally get breakfast with no issues, but this time I got the pot roast dinner, loaded mashed potatoes, carrots, and salad. It tasted divine (didn't really care for the candied carrots....i don't like them sweet) but for some reason it was sitting heavy in my stomach the remainder of the day, making me feel uncomfortable. Not sure why.

Google
This is ranked in my top 5 favorite breakfast locations, period. Although it is usually busy, the wait is worth it. The food is AMAZING! And the staff is very helpful and friendly. If you ever visit Logan, come here for breakfast.

For the last several months we’ve wanted to try Angie’s, however we didn't want a long wait. Today, the clouds parted and we saw the rays of the sun illuminating the restaurant. After a wait of about 5 minutes we hit the lottery, I think anyone in a 1/2 mile radius (host was soooo loud) heard our name being called and were a tiny bit jealous. Angie’s did not disappoint! We had the country skillet, scones and the 1/2lb guacamole burger, all of which were delicious!! Our food took quite a while, but the hubby and I spent this time discussing and solving the world’s problem. You’re welcome. Haha. We saw our waitress one time throughout our meal which was disappointing. Hum….Maybe this is what being a “local” is all about? Although service was less to be desired, quality, amount and temperature of food brought it home for the win.

Great breakfast foods served quickly and friendly. I had the sampler platter and the meats were all high quality, the other two dishes were similar, very yummy, and high quality. Our server was very quick, observant, and friendly. The cinnamon roll was very good, my wife thought it had a croissant-like texture. Love coming here whenever we're in town!

Very nice place. Everyone is friendly, and your cup is never empty! Someone is always checking on you. The food is good, and portions are large. Good place to eat!

Yelp
Sabor is the best guy.. period. Angie's is a wonderful place to get some breakfast or a bite to eat at any point. The portions are large enough to take some home for a second meal. The food was prepared perfectly and the service was on point. The server checked in with us often and made sure our waters and coffee were toped off. Sabor (spelling) the Owner is awesome and I made sure to let him know I appreciated his positive energy and the way he made everyone feel welcome... like family. The restaurant was clean and had that classic diner feel... like you were at home. You can tell who the regulars were and they love to have conversations as I am from out of town and probably stuck out in the crowd. What a great place. Coming from Los Angeles.. I was a pleasant experience and a welcomed change from the "normal" vibe I experience when in my home town. Thank you again for the wonderful meal and overall experience at your amazing restaurant. I will be returning next time I'm in town. Enjoy!!! #jsho @jshoeats

Yelp
Angie's IS an institution in Logan UT. Families from all over the US and abroad come here to see their kids attending Utah State University. Angie's is the first restaurant we dine at when we arrive. There's wait times up to an hour but you're there to visit, and there is no better time to get extra face time with your kid! I would describe the menu as American comfort food. I'm stuck on breakfast, the Denver, hash browns, sourdough with a DC is my SOP. Wife gets biscuits and gravy, scrambled egg, sausage plate, same with Sonny. I followed it up the next morning, same deal. Great service, parking...kinda tight lot but a short walk from any surrounding lot, which there are plenty. A minute from the dorms and a happy place to be with fresh, hot food. It's a great place to eat good food and hang out with your college student!

Todd P.

Yelp
If you're out visiting your Aggie this is a must do. Check out the pictures of that ice cream. The two gentlemen in the pictures are part of my pride and joy tribe. The service was outstanding. The place was full. The wait time to get in was about forty-five minutes. But once inside and at the table everyone was well taken care of by the staff. The ambiance was joyful. Who doesn't have fun at a restaurant with giant ice cream Sundaes?

Danielle L.

Yelp
Dang, this place slaps. One of the best diner experiences I've had in a long time... coming from a Jersey girl. Was hiking in the area and wanted some good food after. There was a bit of a wait, but way less than they quoted. Vibe is classic, old school diner. We ordered sandwiches and chicken tender dinner. Both sandwiches were great and the fries were the good fries. IYKYK. I got the 5 chicken tender dinner, and it was HUGE. The chicken was light, flavorful, and freshly breaded. The salad had homemade ranch. The rolls are to die for. We also got an apple pie to go and it was delicious!! The service here took it over the top, impeccable. Cannot wait to come back!

Kari P.

Yelp
Food was amazing as always. Service impeccable. Ambiance, casual. Lots of leftovers. 3 cakes were a lot.

Deana M.

Yelp
Really great customer service. The food was really really good, loved the scones. Our water glass was filled before it was even half drank every time. Everyone was friendly. It was clean and inviting.

Sara M.

Yelp
Stopped in for Sunday breakfast. Not many establishments are open in town on Sundays and this place is always great! Quick & friendly service, great pricing, HUGE potions, so many options and everything was so fresh & flavorful.

AA A.

Yelp
I really didn't care too much. The food was okay, not bad, servers were okay and the atmosphere was somewhat noisy. I wouldn't go back there

Sam O.

Yelp
I'm excited I finally got a chance to eat at Angie's! I'll have to go back to trying cleaning the sink another time as we were just driving through time and we're just craving a late breakfast. I ordered a chicken fajita omelette with country style potatoes and a scone. Absolutely delicious. I cleaned my plate and loved every bite. I should add that I had my omelette with a whole bowl of salsa because I asked the waitress, Lizzy, for a lot of salsa and she delivered. In fact, my party of five all had great things to say about Lizzy after the meal. Thanks for the excellent service!

Isaac S.

Yelp
This place is meh. Not sure what all the hype is about. The food is mediocre. The service is good. But the wait is so long. Place isn't that clean either. Would not go back.

Jeni O.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service and ambiance! Even though they were super busy, was greeted with a welcoming smile, like Norm entering Cheers!!! Food is good too, with great portions and tasty! Zane and dad loves the free mini ice cream at the end I got liver with bacon and onions and onion rings and broccoli, that was yummy! Hard to find

Kyle R.

Yelp
Our favorite breakfast place. Always go here before we head back home to California. Ended up going twice why we were in town. Best hash browns in town. It's like they are cooked in butter. Pro tip, Get them crispy. Malted Belgium Waffle is delicious. Scone (fry bread) is huge and good. Favorite is to get the BYOB where you get to pick 4 items. Tons of options.

Garth S.

Yelp
This is consistently a good place to eat. Wait line was short and the service was right on. Food seasoned well and presented adequately

Rebecca S.

Yelp
What a great place for breakfast. That is what we had. Everything cooked just the way we liked. It is nice to dine and see so many folks enjoying their meal and visiting. It is a spot to stop. We will be back. The service was wonderful as well.

Valarie C.

Yelp
A favorite for the locals of Cache Valley, and I can definitely see why. My first hit of the restaurant's charm was the fact that it's got the signature old school diner design, not of a 50's burger and fries joint but rather the 70's vinyl booth seating, false marble table coverings, a mishmash of textures and bleached interior design colors... to some, this looks dated and in desperate need of some lipstick, but this is usually a sign for me that the food is going to be awesome. Décor and atmosphere is important, and Angie's definitely didn't neglect this, but I could tell the emphasis was on the food. The place was also packed. That's an obvious sign that this restaurant is scratching some serious itch for the locals. This is the type of place you hit up at 3 in the morning after a killer fun night with friends that you don't want to end, as well as grabbing a great breakfast bright and early with the family. My group ordered mostly breakfast for dinner, as you can order their breakfast at any time of day (poached eggs do have a curfew though). They have a multi-page menu filled with breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. To be honest, I found at least 2 - 3 items from each section that I wanted to order! They also include a couple of sections of you're wanting to eat lighter and watch calories. The service was good overall; the staff was young and vibrant and our waitress was friendly and attentive, but it took longer than usual to get our food (my boyfriend and the rest of our group were locals who frequent Angie's regularly). I would estimate about 20 - 30 minute wait after ordering. When the food arrived, the mixed smells and vibrant color of the plates got me nothing short of excited. The chicken tenders were crispy and piping hot, steaming and tender on the inside but you get a beautiful crunch with each bite from the breading. The tater tots were pretty standard but still good. I dropped a star on this review due to a couple of factors. Firstly, my biscuits and gravy were not served to me hot, or really warm at all. I figured they were made first, but had to wait for the rest of our table's orders before it got brought to the table. The flavor was good, but it would be instantly better if served hot. The hash browns were not spiced or flavored at all, which I suppose is left intentionally so the customer can season them themselves, so it's not that big of an issue. I ordered my eggs over medium and received them over-easy. So if you're more of a stickler about your eggs than I am, make sure to emphasize how you want them prepared. Overall, the place was great and I'll definitely be back! Going with good company truly enhances the experience there.

Ramdas S.

Yelp
The service was incredibly fast. The restaurant is definitely a place for local families to gather. If you're looking for quiet, you'll need to look elsewhere. THE FOOD! Oh the food was wonderful and priced right with a wide variety including a number of vegetarian options.

mandy e.

Yelp
Friendly server. Food average to below average Kids burger was like eating shoe leather and the fries are breaded. Spouse loved his Texas toast tho. Standard regular cafeteria food. Family friendly, Saturday night packed with families.

Hanna N.

Yelp
Angie's has been a staple in logan for years. It is the place to be! Such great food and quick service! We love going here. Lots of seating and during Christmas we even got a visit from Santa!

Alice M.

Yelp
My first time at Angies. I had 4 bacon, hash browns, 2 eggs over easy and sourdough toast with a glass of milk. My friend ordered the light breakfast, one biscuit and gravy one egg and hash browns. Best breakfast and service I've had in a long time. We had to wait but not too bad maybe 10 min. Worth the wait. They are on top of things.

Merry E.

Yelp
I came here for a meal with a cousin of mine & one of her daughters!I had ordered the breaded red snapper, salad & 2 ears of corn for my meal!I was treated with dignity & respect to where I'll keep on coming back here! They've got great service & the person that we had was very nice, kind & respectful to us!Will gladly recommend this place to those who ask!

Yelp
Consistently good food and service. The staff is great and very friendly. Brian is a great manager. It's great to know that you are going to get good food and service there every time.

Lorin C.

Yelp
Great family style restaurant. Excellent friendly service. Food was excellent huge portions. Prices were very good too.

Jenny B.

Yelp
This place is a classic. Conventional, feel-good menu items. Don't forget the breakfasts - they are fun for the family.

J C.

Yelp
Cool 70's diner feel. Good is fabulous, service is friendly. Got breakfast for dinner; it was perfect.

Josh C.

Yelp
The service is great the food is so good and the people are so kind. It's calm and very nice.

John G.

Yelp
Angie's is a solid breakfast spot in Logan. (Might be great for other things, but I've not tried those yet ;-)) Based on my meal, and those I saw served to other tables, I'd say you're not going to leave hungry!! The Benedict Arnold (aka Eggs Benedict) was pretty good, though I've never seen that much hollandaise on one plate before ;-) Coffee was fine and kept warm and full by the attentive staff. Good place to break your fast when you awaken in Logan!

Katie C.

Yelp
Never had a bad experience here! Classic Cafe style food that always hits the spot! Great family-friendly environment and great service! Definitely somewhere you should stop when you're in Logan :)

Aly S.

Yelp
Definitely see why there's a line of people ready for opening! Quintessential locals spot & we loved it! Super nice & helpful people, great food, fast & friendly- everything you could want from a breakfast spot including classic diner coffee. Cute spot with lots of seats for everyone. We'll be back often!

Vickie J.

Yelp
Not much to look at from the outside or even as you walk in but once inside, the place is clean and organized. We had the half rack of ribs with all the fixings for $15.99. The salad was typical bag lettuce with a few croutons and a couple of beets. I wasn't a fan of the 1,000 island dressing no I wish the salad was colder, maybe a chilled bowl. Our meal came right after we got our salads so we didn't really eat much of the salad. The ribs had a nice smoke flavor and were a bit to crisp in places. The sweet carrots are very sweet and to mushy for our liking. Service was good. We were immediately seated and our drink order taken. Server was friendly but assumed we knew the menu. We'll go back. They menu is long and we'd love to try breakfast.

Merlin G.

Yelp
All around the best place in Logan Utah for service. If anybody wants to learn how to do customer service, you should just go there eat breakfast and watch and learn.

Vynyey Y.

Yelp
The food here is delicious, a 60's vibe I guess, the service is decent, I do recommend this place

Brianne C.

Yelp
After hearing about Angie's for years and years, I was excited to try it! My chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, and veggies were average, but the rolls, beef and vegetable soup, and scone were outstanding. I will definitely go back, but next time I'll try a different entree and see if I enjoy it more. We were too full to try cleaning the sink--maybe next time.

Bacon N.

Yelp
I've been eating at Angies since way back when it was Sambo's, and it's always been good! Angie's owner is a magnificent gentleman with a fabulous story as well. Of all the restaurants in town Angie's is Alice's (my service dog) favorite! They treat here like a princess, which is not always the case (Denny's). We typically have breakfast which is always excellent. The Benedict Arnold being my favorite, followed closely by the Biscuits and Gravy. Alice goes for a side of bacon. The service is outstanding and the food is always excellent. Occasionally I stray from the breakfast and try other things, such as the Bourbon St. Black & Blue (excellent) or the Navajo Taco (yep). Even though it is usually crowded, they handle the crowd very well. The experience is always a pleasure. Highly recommended!

Takao N.

Yelp
Good old fashion restaurant. Recommend by a local friend. Ordered Angie's favorite with chicken fried steak. Perfect breakfast. Excellent service, too. Very popular and busy but people come and go all the time so it wasn't a long wait. Would definitely come back!!!

May Z.

Yelp
Food was all overcooked, overcooked eggs, overcooked sausages, overcooked hash-browns.

Kitty K.

Yelp
This is one of my favorites! If you have never been here you have to try it! The staff is amazing as is the owner! They are all super nice and the food is delicious! The diner feel is really fun and a great place for spending time with friends, family or going on a date! Always had a good experience here and can always find something super yummy on the menu! Also super yummy cinnamon rolls that are super fresh and delicious! Highly recommend!

Cathy E.

Yelp
Service is always great and food is old fashioned diner fare. We love it. Always busy but worth a bit of a wait if needed

Jacki M.

Yelp
Love this place!!! Homemade food and things like scones that are to die for. Will definitely be back each time we are in town!

Michael H.

Yelp
thank you angie about $14.00 for a chicken fried steak soup mashed potatoes broccoli and a homemade dinner roll holy cow

Brad H.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service!!! I try to eat here every time I get to Logan! Great restaurant!!

Deborah L.

Yelp
What a yummy, comfort food place to eat! Our family had a delicious meal here after a long day of hiking!

Faliesha E.

Yelp
I'm from so cal where I have been to TONS of restaurants/cafés - I just moved to Logan and of course had to give Angie's a try. BY FAR one of the best cafés I've ever been to. It was really busy but the service was great and the food was fresh and delicious

Nicole C.

Yelp
The scones though. If you're not Utahn, this means like a frybread or effectively the base of an elephant ear... aka damn delightful. The breakfast is good and they have the standards but I dream about the scones slathered in butter. Do not miss this opportunity.

Courtney A.

Yelp
A bunch of my friends and I came here to "clean the sink" the service was amazing, our server was so sweet, we ordered only the ice cream and some french fries but both were amazing. We had a lot of food allergy's at the table and our server was great to separate all the topings for us and prevent cross contamination.

Dennis K.

Yelp
Yesterday we decided to go see the beautiful fall colors, and stopped by Angie's for an early lunch. They serve breakfast all day. I had a Denver omelette it was excellent. my wife had a BLT, and my friend also had a Denver omelette. They do a nice job of keeping the coffee cup full. Their servers were excellent would definitely go there again.

Ray N.

Yelp
Our server was fantastic!!! Food was huge portions. Tasted delicious. Was amazing watching all the different foods being brought out. Water was constantly full. Rolls were fantastic. Small ice cream cone at end great finishing touch to the meal.

Ron M.

Yelp
Loved our breakfast. My wife and I were looking for a good breakfast place and chose Angie's based on Yelp reviews. The sweet cream panckes were light and fluffy. The eggs, potatoes were tasty . The place appeared to have a lot of locals.

Quinn N.

Yelp
This place has average brunch food. The portions are huge. We had burnt pancakes but I don't think we really need them anyway.

Faith B.

Yelp
I want to save someone else from a possible really bad outcome! This is not a post to bash. This is not a post to upset anyone this is strictly a post to make others aware. My young son has a food allergy that he was recently diagnosed with and we are still adjusting to. Today we went to eat at a local favorite restaurant. LEGALLY in the U.S. they are required by law to be able to produce information on prepackaged food they serve. They are also required to be careful with cross contaminations. I simply asked today when sitting down if they had any menu options on their menu without this allergen. The waiter was gone all of 30 seconds before coming back to tell me. No one knows. I then asked ok, What about the manager? He said he doesn't know either. I then explained that I didn't want to cause an issue but I would just like to make sure when ordering that I know what is in my childs food so he doesn't have an allergic reaction and I asked to speak to the manager. I tried to be as friendly as I could. The manager came over with a not so friendly attitude and asked what my problem was. I explained that I was told that no one knew what products contained my son's allergen, and that I needed to see the allergen facts on the children's menu. He said sorry no one knows. I explained that legally in the U.S. it is a requirement to list food allergens on pre packaged food and if it contains ( I listed said allergy ) he then so happily noted that hes never heard of that being an allergy and again no one knows what's in their food, but if I wanted to give him an exact menu item he'd try and find out from kitchen staff. This entire time the kitchen staff was watching from the window fuming and staring at me. I listed off the Mac and cheese and the manager walked over and had a hushed tone conversation with them through the window. They uttered this is unbelievable and threw a package of Mac and cheese through the window and continued having a heated hushed discussion. At this point my son was extremely uncomfortable and felt like an inconvenience due to his allergy, I was then concerned I wouldn't get proper information and would be feeding him food that would still contained his allergy they didn't believe he had, and probably have food that was spit in. The waitresses, waiters, kitchen staff, and manager were all furious with my son's allergy and with me. We decided to stand up and I told them nicely and calmly to not worry about it and that we'd actually just be going. On my way out the door they continued yelling and made sure to yell "Have a nice day Karen!" I did my best to walk out with pride and a stiff back and mouth shut. My son was already stinging hurt by the fact he had officially found somewhere he wasn't welcome due to his allergy. He wasn't treated fair today. He was treated with disrespect. You made a little boy feel like he was an inconvenience to you because his body betrays him by the food he eats. I understand everyone has bad days. Maybe I caught you on a bad day ANGIES in Logan UTAH maybe I caught your staff on a bad day. But that's not an excuse to crush a little dudes spirit. Not to mention that's not an excuse to possibly cause someone an allergic reaction and send someone to the ER so fair warning to everyone with allergies in Logan. Be careful. You may not actually know if they are serving you your allergen or not and they don't care to truly check. If you ask you'll probably just piss them off....
