Angiolino - Ai 13 Arrosti

We have been in Florence for 5 nights and Angiolino is by far the best restaurant we have been to. The food, service and atmosphere are exceptional. A call out to Motin, who seated us and helped with the wine. All the staff were excellent. We found out the restaurant was the first in Florence with an open kitchen in 1943. The chief is amazing to watch cooking up a storm. Highly recommended if you want an authentic Italian restaurant experience.

Food is good, not the best but good, pass on desserts get them somewhere else, but the service of Francesco made the meal. Best service in Italy coming from someone who has really high standards. Francesco is friendly, attentive and a pro at what he does, all his suggestions were spot on.

Stunning . Classy . Rustic authentic Tuscan . Was exploring Florence and spontaneously chose this one , after looking at the menu on the street . Mura our waitress was a gem and super sweet . Service was attentive but not pushy . Gorgeous presentation of the plates we ordered . The Caesar was unconventional with with mayonaise in the salad , and was delicious . The sausage with white beans was super simple but perfectly balanced , and the rigitoni with gluten free pasta and crispy bacon was delectable and so umami ! It was a beautiful dinner and the standard of food matched my high expectations . So so delicious . 💜

Not been here for around two years, but staying in Lucca and decided on a day trip to Florence, so several choices for lunch, but this is the most relaxed. Nothing (thankfully) has changed, good friendly service, well priced and good traditional menu and wine list, just a great stop for lunch or supper. The atmosphere is traditional with an open view of the kitchen, each dish is individually prepared and cooked to perfection. A privilege to have the opportunity to visit. And a wine window opposite, after 20 odd years of coming it was a surprise discovery.

Simple but tasty! We wanted more authentic Italian food on our trip and spent ages trying to find restaurants that would give us this. It was the right about of people, not too busy and not awkwardly quiet. Our server was lovely, and although we tried to speak Italian they spoke good English. We loved it so much we needed up going back for dinner the night after. You get a nice view into the kitchen which was nice to see how they prepared the food. The meals we had were lovely but expect large plates with what looks like a small portion but in fact it's deceiving and is just right. Wine was nice and everything was fairly priced. We loved this restaurant so much!

Had a little break from pasta, fried polenta to start was great , first time I've enjoyed polenta after many times of trying. Ossobuco just fell of the bone and bean stew had a lovely depth of flavour. A really decent little place.

Amazing place and the best dinner we had in Italy! We ordered meat and it was absolutely amazing — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. It’s a really nice spot to sit outside on the street and enjoy the vibe of Florence. A special thank you to Francesco, who took such great care of us throughout the evening. His warm, welcoming energy and thoughtful recommendations made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended if you're in Florence!

Phenomenal food and service. We ate at buca lapi and other of the top rated restaurants in Firenze. This is an authentic Florentino experience. Very reasonable prices and a perfect vongole. Steak is amazing. Francisco is the best waiter we've had. Highly recommended.
