Stunning . Classy . Rustic authentic Tuscan . Was exploring Florence and spontaneously chose this one , after looking at the menu on the street . Mura our waitress was a gem and super sweet . Service was attentive but not pushy . Gorgeous presentation of the plates we ordered . The Caesar was unconventional with with mayonaise in the salad , and was delicious . The sausage with white beans was super simple but perfectly balanced , and the rigitoni with gluten free pasta and crispy bacon was delectable and so umami ! It was a beautiful dinner and the standard of food matched my high expectations . So so delicious . 💜

Not been here for around two years, but staying in Lucca and decided on a day trip to Florence, so several choices for lunch, but this is the most relaxed. Nothing (thankfully) has changed, good friendly service, well priced and good traditional menu and wine list, just a great stop for lunch or supper. The atmosphere is traditional with an open view of the kitchen, each dish is individually prepared and cooked to perfection. A privilege to have the opportunity to visit. And a wine window opposite, after 20 odd years of coming it was a surprise discovery.

Had a little break from pasta, fried polenta to start was great , first time I've enjoyed polenta after many times of trying. Ossobuco just fell of the bone and bean stew had a lovely depth of flavour. A really decent little place.

The service was friendly and the atmosphere was convivial. I ordered the Florentine steak for one rare. It tasted very good but was not as rare as I expected. This could be just a difference in how steak is cooked here. I did enjoy it and it was a nice special night out considering I am travelling alone. The zucchero was also delicious.

This was recommend to me by a few people. They forgot to bring us bread for awhile. And then they brought it with no plates or oil or vinegar. Finally got that but by that time our food was already coming out. You literally can watch them in kitchen making it so it was incredibly fresh and authentic. However maybe I made the wrong choice. I got a veal shank with risotto and it was just a very heavy meal on top of the fact that the restaurant was quite hot. I had to get up and step outside for a second because it was so warm in there (it has been a very hot few weeks in Florence though). The meatballs were good but the mashed potatoes weren’t anything special.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here during our stay in Florence! We discovered it one night during a walk home to our airbnb. He ordered the Florentine steak and I ordered one of the spaghetti dishes. He said it was the best steak he has ever had and is still dreaming about it. We loved the ambiance and would definitely go back to try more dishes!

Everything we were looking for in an authentic neighborhood trattoria for lunch. Fantastic fried artichokes in the early November season. Ribollita traditional thick soup. A great pasta cooked in red wine and served with bacon, onions and parma. Delicious panna cotta for dessert. Excellent welcoming service. Sorry we dont have another day in Florence to go back!

The food is good. We ordered and waited for the food to be ready. They will call your name so you can come to take your food. It’s a bit crowded during lunch time so it’s hard to find a seat inside.
