Angkor Secret Garden Hotel/Inn

When I visited Siem Reap and was working on some archaeological research at Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples I stayed at the Angkor Secret Garden Hotel. When I first arrived the hotel seemed to be nestled in a corner just a little ways from the main thoroughfares which was quite pleasant because it made sleeping there a little quieter. After spending a few weeks there I came to realize that the hotel was perfectly located within fair walking distance from local shopping areas and if I had wanted to I could walk to the local artisan shops. Taking breaks from exploration was very enjoyable in the hotel's courtyard where I could lounge in a hammock or sit in the eating area with fellow guests. The rooms perfect for my wife and I's needs for the trip. We brought our baby with us for the trip and the staff we very friendly and loved playing with him. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, whether it was procuring a ride in or out of town, helping us translate things we didn't know, and in general just being awesome hosts. If I get a chance to return for more research I will book there again. Safe travels ya'll!

I love this place because the location is not in town but it is close enough for you to enjoy the town in a safe clean comfortable environment. The prices for the dinner and lunch is very reasonable and breakfast is good and hot. The menu is not extensive but includes enough for u to have good selections. The town and Attractions are just a five minute tuk tuk drive into town and the longest I had to wait for a ride into town was five minutes and I stayed for over 8 days.

Stayed here with the kindest staff and Sun Same. 2 adults and 2 children are enough to sleep well with 2 beds. Also, the water of pool is quite clean and enough to enjoy playing with children. Provided free airport pick up service when booked more than 3 nights. Also, breakfast is also good. The price of food in restarunt is reasionable and almost half compare to restarunt around tourist spot. There is a staff who can speaking Korean so it should be helpful for Korean tourist.

Really nice place for a cheap price. Breakfast is awesome, there is beer available in the garden and the room was spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and you can book a tour to the Angkor temples from here!

Nice place on the Road of kravat krong Siem Reap. Huge family room with double bed, and triple bed. A nice balcony by the side through sliding door. A cute swimming pool for children and family to enjoy. Food is good, somehow a little salty though.

Pretty basic budget hotel. You get what you're paying for. If you just need a place to sleep and don't care much about other things, then this is your place. I spent two nights here on a marathon weekend where other places were all full.

Lovely clean hotel. Food good and reasonably priced. Mr Hoy was the perfect guide for the temples too. Only small downside was noisy main road but everything else was perfect

Great rooms, great service. Good restaurant. Nice pool. A bit far from the center, but it's quiet, which is different from most downtown hotels
