We camped in a "premium" powered tent site located at the farthest back left of the park, near beach access. Our closest bathroom amenities block and kitchen was a short walk back towards the park entrance. After the first night, a large school group took over the end of the park where we were camping and park administration posted signs that our closest bathroom amenities and kitchen were exclusively for school group use only. The next closest bathroom amenities were a considerable distance further to walk and took some time. No warning or notice had been given of the school group booking. A massive and unacceptable inconvenience that could have been avoided with proper communication on or before our arrival.
By far, our worst experience on a journey lasting just over 3 weeks along The Great Ocean Road into South Australia, Mt Gambier, Naracoorte, Adelaide hills, Robe and back along the Great Ocean Road, returning to Melbourne.
We won't be going back to this park.
