Hôtel Angleterre

I had a really lovely stay at this hotel. I got a complimentary upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was a great surprise. The room was spacious, super clean, and had a cozy, elegant design. The bathroom was fantastic — two sinks, a glass-door shower, bathtub, bathrobes, everything you'd want. There was a coffee machine and a fridge with complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept incredibly well — even woke up to birds singing outside. The staff were professional and helpful. The gym is in a different building but well equipped, with both cardio and weights. There is also an outdoor pool. All the buildings are renovated and modern, but still full of charm. The location is excellent — right by the lake and just a short walk from the metro station, which made getting around very easy. Overall, a peaceful and comfortable experience. Would definitely stay again.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated – this hotel is even more stunning in person than in the photos! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the very start.||We were absolutely thrilled with our room. It was beautifully appointed, featuring stylish furniture and every comfort imaginable. The spacious bathroom was another highlight, and everything, everywhere, was immaculately clean. The room featured exceptional soundproofing and blackout curtains for truly restful nights.||Breakfast was a delight! The buffet offered a wonderful selection of diverse and fresh ingredients, all served in an elegant setting.||And the location? Simply unbeatable! The hotel is situated in a beautiful area directly on the lakeside, offering breathtaking views. Exploring the city was also a breeze, thanks to the convenient public transport nearby (ticket included in the tourist tax).||I can't recommend this hotel highly enough – it truly exceeded all my expectations!

Gorgeous view! The BEST breakfast. A hotel of this caliber should offer assistance with bags, since there are stairs. Better signage from street for check in- our taxi driver dropped us off below the hotel- we had to drag our bags up the stairs.

Beautiful little independent hotel directly across from Lake Geneva. Close to the ferry that takes you to Evian. Lots of yummy restaurants. Subway is a 2 min walk. Property is gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool area as well. Rooms very comfortable. Mini bar stocked with beer, soda, juice and water included. Intercity transportation passes included with your stay. I could go on and on about this place…can’t wait to return.

We LOVED staying here. The reception was very friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to provide great service. The room was perfectly set up and decorated, the bed was comfortable. It’s a short walk to the convenient metro, and also to the lake. All in all, would recommend this hotel!

Beautiful location near the lake in Ouchy, nice & modern rooms, relaxing pool. ||Curtains should be better at keeping the morning sun out.||Room cleaning should be better organised: one time it happened at 16:45 just when one returns from a nice walk. The next day they forgot our room completely and it was only cleaned over dinner after we alerted the reception.

We had a wonderful stay! Our rooms were quite clean with everything we needed. Bonus was the transport pass for the length of our stay and the complimentary beverage in the fridge. Of course being less than 100 meters from the lake’s edge was also wonderful.

The staff made me feel welcomed and at home. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The location is breathtaking, with a very short distance to the lake. Breakfast and lunch were delicious - combined with very nice service. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to the area.
