This small family run hotel was everything we hoped it would be. Situated in a quiet street in the old city adjacent to the citadel of castle ruins it had a totally romantic authentic feel. |Not plush but clean and comfortable and very beautiful with Anatolian wooden furnishings. The host Revaha and his staff couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast is in a local style and cooked fresh each morning. We’d have no hesitation about in recommending it. Down town is a 10-15 minute taxi ride away costing between 10-20L depending on location of start point.

Stayed here for one day and night, excellent service from a family run business. Located in a lovely touristic area and close to Ankara Castle. Taxis are readily available to take you anywhere quite cheaply. Our room was perfect, eveything very clean and typically authentically decorated. Would recommend to anyone wishing to experience good turkish hospitality.

I was pleasantly surprised by the sweet couple who run this bread-and-breakfast in Ankara. They welcomed us like we were relatives and were quick to help me out when I was struggling a little in figuring out how to get around. Breakfast was awesome and we loved our rustic little room. I would come back here in a heartbeat and maybe learn how to speak in Turkish from this gentle, hardworking couple. The home was close to the museum and the castle. It was hard to get here on foot as the bus station is quite far, but there is a nearby taxi area.

Delightful small hotel in the Citadel of Ankara. Nice walks in the vicinity, local charm. The hotel is housed in the old Ottoman house. Olde Worlde charm. Good breakfast. It is not a slick five-star, but something better - an authentic experience. Bear in mind that cars can't reach the hotel, you have to disembark at the gates of the Citadel and proceed on foot. So if you have a lot of luggage, the hotel is not suitable. Otherwise, the best place in Ankara.

In the heart of the Citadel district, this is a perfectly located hotel (but don't drive there) at the foot of the castle walls and a short walk from the excellent Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. The building and rooms are full of traditional Turkish character. The owners are friendly and informative. The breakfast is a feast that will see you through to the evening. Highly recommended.

Beautiful little boutique hotel, they try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was made fresh, the interior is designed really cute , across there is a small kiosk, which is family run. In the evening the area is quite calm and the noises you hear are only neighbors speaking, nothing too noisy. We sat out on the calm street at night and really enjoyed it, would come here again

Romantic 5-room well preserved guest house located in the old sector within the walls of the Ankara Castle. Rooms are small consisting of a queen-sized bed, TV, enclosed cloth closets, comfort chairs, and bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower. Floors, ceilings, doors and frames are of massive wood and tinted dark-brown. Our reservation included breakfast, which was great; a typical türkisch breakfast consisting of tea or coffee, egg, sausage, juice, cheese, jam, potatoes, olives, and bread. More than enough too get you through the first half of the day.

Classic konak with stone walls & wooden floors decorated with period pieces. Located inside ancient walled section of Ankara, 3 min walk from 2 of the best museums in Ankara-- Archeology Museum & R.Koc Museum. Why stay in some sterile chain hotel, when you can live the history & culture??
