Angsana Bintan

We spent New Year’s week at Angsana Bitan, and we had a wonderful time. Natural setting is stunning, and the hotel harmoniously fits with surrounding nature. It is part of a resort with Bunyan Tree, a luxury set of villas, and Cassia, a simpler residence. This allows Angsana’s guests to enjoy both refined restaurants from Bunyan Tree, and some fun activities from Cassia. ||A special mention goes to all staff, from reception to waiters to chefs. Everyone was so kind and helpful, in such a genuine way. ||Finally, our family needs gluten free food and each restaurant could provide plenty of choices in such a kind and professional way. We felt extremely safe and privileged to be able and taste local dishes, and also enjoy some well cooked Western food.

The hotel was overlooking a beautiful beach and surrounded by restaurants. A wonderful place for a quiet and relaxing holiday.||They have activities for kids, Zumba for adults and a 5 star Spa. Ika, my therapist provided the most relaxing and professional massage.||Service by the staff was excellent. They are friendly and polite, befitting to the Indonesian culture. ||Overall it is was a fantastic getaway

This hotel is highly recommended for families. My 8 and 6-year-old kids loved the staying and said that they wanted to stay for one hundred more days! They enjoyed the kids club. Ms. Maria was amazing.|And the spa has a very nice service. Ms. Mia did a great and pleasant spa service. 5 stars!

I play golf at the nearby Laguna Bintan Golf Course and have returned again to stay at Angsana Bintan. A special mention to the main restaurant manager at Angsana who is very attentive and helpful. The spa at Angsana Bintan is great and the masseurs and staff provide a very good service. One issue is that they charge you if you take away the bedroom slippers and the beach slippers without actually telling you in advance. I was almost caught out to pay about 20USD for this which is a bit preposterous for a 5 star hotel! My room had twin beds of generous size each with lots of room to move around, a working desk, a lounging sofa and a balcony with furniture. The room offered a great view of the beach and the sea. We stayed 5 nights. Loved it and would come back. It’s not perfect. Here’s the rundown on what to expect! ||Pros: Location is terrific. Right on a gorgeous beach. Next to the Banyan Tree, and you can use their restaurants (stunning!). Our room was big for 5 with a full lounge/dining area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a great big deck - looking out on grass and the beach - divine! Housekeeping and staff overall outstanding, exceeded expectations. You get on WhatsApp and they respond - immediately! Ice, a turndown service, service etc, it happened perfectly and fast every time over 6 days! Housekeeping are simply brilliant, so a big call-out to hardworking Evo and Yusri, wow! Food relatively inexpensive. Golf courses nearby great, as was the Kelong restaurant. Spa lovely too. ||Cons: First impression isn’t terrific, as it is a dated resort in need of a facelift! In monsoon season they don’t put up umbrellas by the pool which makes it feel drab. Restaurant decor is uninspired and the Gardens look like they need some work. ||Whole family (3 adult sons) says they would come back! It was simply a great vacation overall. It’s low key with 5 star service, a great location and with the Banyan Tree being so accessible it just works.

I stayed there purely for golf trip. I didn’t have much time to enjoy the facilities but I really loved the spa. The massage was excellent. All the staffs were very friendly and professional. Dinner bbq buffet was really great as well. One thing that I didn’t enjoy much is the room itself. As the resort is quite old, I can feel that it requires some renovation.

I had an incredible experience at Angsana Beach Resort. The location for me is so relaxing with pristine sandy beaches and clear waters. The staffs from the reception, lotus cafe and lifeguards went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.||I hope I remember and spell their name correctly, super thank you to Pancha (very accommodating receptionist) , Wiwiw , always smiling and greeting lady at the Lotus Cafe and Anzil to ensure safety while enjoying the beach. ||Angsana room is clean , spacious and beautifully decorated. same as the advertisement . We stay at room 141 Island Family Suite.||I can’t wait to cone back and would highly recommend this paradise to anyone looking for an unforgetable getaway and its incredible team.
