Angsana Velavaru

This was my first time in the Maldives and this island was AMAZING! My partners fourth trip to the Maldives and very much her favourite island of the four.|The service is exceptional, all the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Difficult to single out staff, and I wish I'd taken more names, as they were all wonderful but Appa, Rahim, Imthiyaz, Kiranveen and Laila deserve special mention.|Staying in villa 133 on the south east side of the island gave views of the crashing waves on the distant reef. Wonderful. The sea was perfectly clear with pockets of reef, full of sea life. It was the best side of the island for from the beach snorkelling. Baby sharks and eagle rays making occasional appearances on the shore edge.|The villa, kept very clean by Khalid, was the basic villa with no private pool, but we didn't want or need one, we had the sea!|Included in the stay is a daily trip by boat out to the reefs edge for snorkelling. This was a real highlight of the holiday and highly recommended.|Another highlight was daily feeding of the love birds, morning and afternoon.|Senior Manager, Jan, head of food and beverages, was a great person to speak to. He would come round, interact with holiday makers, making sure we were all happy. He very kindly arranged for a Thai green curry to be specially made for me and my partner. Above and beyond service.|If you are already booked to go here, you will have an amazing time. If you are thinking of booking here, then do it!

We had a family vacation with two children (3 and 7 years old). We traveled to the Maldives for the first time. We really liked the hotel. We stayed at the Infinity pool 139. It was incredibly beautiful. We were lucky with the weather. Every day we went snorkeling on a boat, which lasted 40 minutes. My husband and I swam in turns for 20 minutes. The children waited on the boat during this time. We saw turtles and reef sharks. ||The food in the a la carte restaurant was amazing. We really liked the over-water Thai restaurant. There also was another restaurant that had barbecue buffet on Mondays, we ate some excellent steaks.||But most of all, the staff did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.|We found ourselves in a difficult situation, since our luggage was not delivered on time due to the fault of the airline. And it was delivered only on the 6th day of the vacation. Many thanks to the staff who helped us, supported us morally and were genuinely happy for us when the luggage was finally delivered.||A huge thank you to the executive assistant manager Jan Lorenzen who's very kind and professional.||I would also like to thank the head waiter Ajmal, administrators Eli and Alina, waiter Shamaan, cook Valla, cleaner Nasru. |Thanks to these people, our stay at Angsana Velavaru was amazing!||With love Ivan, Evgeniia, Iana and Konstantin.

From the very beginning, the Angsana resort has been a place straight out of the books, the pictures and various tv shows, a reality of a picturesque beauty and serenity. The incredible scales of blues the water reflects is beyond imagination, only brought further by the white sands, local vegetation, and the tropical architecture that is presented by the hotel. It really is the perfect paradise, what with all the different terrestrial, aquatic, and creatures of flight, from fruit bats and sea birds, to crabs and lizards, not to mention the seemingly infinite variety of fish and corals. This Maldivian resort really is the picture of paradise. However, to really make a resort the perfect holiday destination, it needs something more than a beautiful location; it needs the right kind of crew. For it’s the destination that brings the visitors here, but it’s the staff that makes you want to come back. It’s the people that smile and make you smile, feel happy, and ensure that you feel like you belong there. People that help with no hesitation and really make your holiday as relaxing as possible. Azeez, our house cleaner regularly made our house look new and comfortable. The waiting staff, particularly Lailla, Ijlal, and Appa, and chefs Rohim and Nissanka made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. The diving centers crew, Ahmed junior and Fazeel greatly and diversally showed us the Maldives increadble aquatic bio and hydrosphere through the perspectives of both scuba diving and snorkeling. We are deeply thankful to them for elevating our experience of the Maldives and the Angsana resort from amazing, to an incredible adventure that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

We just got back from an incredible one-week stay at Angsana Velavaru for our honeymoon, and we’re already missing it! Everything was beyond perfect. From the moment we landed, we were taken care of — smooth transfer from the airport and a warm welcome at the hotel. The island is absolutely beautiful, and the resort is spotless and perfectly maintained. The staff were amazing — always smiling, helpful, and genuinely kind. They made us feel at home every single day. There were plenty of fun activities to enjoy during the day, and the evening entertainment was fantastic! We especially loved the themed buffet nights — a different cuisine every evening, always delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks at the bar were great too, with lots of choice. We had such a wonderful time and created unforgettable memories. Angsana Velavaru is truly a little paradise. We can’t wait to come back someday! 100% recommend this place — you won’t be disappointed!

We stayed at Angsana Maldives for 8 nights, and the resort's location is fantastic, situated on a small island. The lagoon is perfect for both relaxing on the beach and snorkeling. Our water villa was amazing, and our villa attendant, Irifaan, was detail-oriented and polite. Thank you, Isabella, at the front desk, for taking care of us during our stay! Additionally, the staff at the diving center were excellent. They were knowledgeable and courteous, and we enjoyed snorkeling trips where we saw turtles, dolphins, and a whale shark. The food and drinks were delicious, and the team at the poolside bar and Azzurro was outstanding, especially Ajija, Totti, and Ziyan, who showed us exceptional hospitality. This was a memorable experience for our family!

Unforgettable Stay! We had a wonderful time at Angsana Velavaru! The beachfront villa was beautiful and peaceful, and the entire resort was well-maintained and relaxing. A special thank you to Laila, who provided exceptional service every day. She was warm, attentive, and seemed to know what we needed before we even asked. Her kindness truly made our stay extra special. The food was fresh and delicious, with great variety. Highly recommend this resort – we hope to come back!

Me and My boyfriend just got back from and incredible 4 nights 5 days at Maldives Angsana Velavaru hotel for my Birthday. Everything was beyond perfect and a warm welcome a specially Mr.Jan, Mr.Prasong, Laila, Suraj, Heshan and all staff.||The service thoughtout the hotel was exception warm, professional, appreciate, to thoes who mention and all staff. Me and My boyfriend felt so well well taken care of.||Dining at Angsana Velavaru was a hilight in itself. The variety of restaurants. The food was consistently delicious and beautyful presented. The drinks were great and so many options.||Mr.Jan and Mr.Prasong was prepared a Birthday dining for me. I'm so appreciate and had a wonderful night.||The villa in land and in ocean villa are stunning, spacious and offering breathtaking view of the ocean villa||We were comfort, relaxation and unforgettable memories Angsana Velavaru is a true maldivien gem and a little paradise.
