3 or 4 stars is about right as a hotel. As a hotel review, I stayed for one night, and it was 500K ($20.50) for a room with two beds; pretty clean, quiet, no smell, and 2 free bottles of water.
I don't know if the prices were different due to Tết, we stayed the night before the start of the holiday.
Originally, I booked a room on Agoda for 400K ($16.40) and selected the option for twin beds. We showed up, and they said there's only one bed. So they suggested we upgrade to get separate beds - which we did. I couldn't cancel the original Agoda reservation - but they said they'd take care of the Agoda booking in the morning. We had to leave before they opened up in the morning...
I can't check if I was charged for the (supposed to be canceled) room or not as my account is linked to a US card, and I can't login to US Bank internationally. If it turns out I was charged, it's not the end of the world, but I will lower the review as I was told directly multiple times, they would take care of it in the morning. If I discover they did take care of it, I'll raise the service rating. However, an email from Agoda seems like I just paid for the original room as well.
