Anh Dao Mekong Hotel

Super location and a great room for a night or two. I stayed on 6th floor and everything was alright. Staff also helped me with the bus ticket to Rach Gia.

3 or 4 stars is about right as a hotel. As a hotel review, I stayed for one night, and it was 500K ($20.50) for a room with two beds; pretty clean, quiet, no smell, and 2 free bottles of water. I don't know if the prices were different due to Tết, we stayed the night before the start of the holiday. Originally, I booked a room on Agoda for 400K ($16.40) and selected the option for twin beds. We showed up, and they said there's only one bed. So they suggested we upgrade to get separate beds - which we did. I couldn't cancel the original Agoda reservation - but they said they'd take care of the Agoda booking in the morning. We had to leave before they opened up in the morning... I can't check if I was charged for the (supposed to be canceled) room or not as my account is linked to a US card, and I can't login to US Bank internationally. If it turns out I was charged, it's not the end of the world, but I will lower the review as I was told directly multiple times, they would take care of it in the morning. If I discover they did take care of it, I'll raise the service rating. However, an email from Agoda seems like I just paid for the original room as well.

As usual, staff was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Helped us get taxis and schedule tours. Room was well kept and maintained. Price was of course excellent. There were a few disappointing things. We were not able to get hot water in our room and the sheets on the bed continuously tried to come off as they weren't fitted. The cafe and bar on the roof was also not open while we stayed, though it was unclear why.

We were booked to stay here as part of a tour and were extremely disappointed. The room was damp and musty, it was very grimy, the WiFi in our room didn't work and the staff were not helpful with getting this fixed, there was no hot water in the shower and the bathroom flooded when you used the shower. The bed was also very uncomfortable and made a loud noise at the slightest movement. I would not recommend at all, felt more like 1* than 3*.

Very basis 50+ rooms hotel. Clean room but not so at the bath tub due to its placement. The room size seems smaller than stated. We had rooms with windows but view of roofs of surrounding buildings.||||Hotel is located a quick 10-12 mins walk to the pier for boat rides to Cai Rang; a slow walk takes 20 mins. The ferry pier to cross the river is closer. The night market is approx 8 mins walk from hotel.||||Breakfast is great--delicious and many varieties.

Spent a week at hotel and room was just perfect. Always spotless and fantastic service and information. The hotel is located within 10 minutes walk of pier and night market. Breakfasts are very good. Wish they served to later hour but I did not miss a single morning. Very warm and friendly people. WiFi was excellent too.

We stayed just one night in this three star hotel. Although it was not fancy, it was very clean and the employees were nice as could be. We liked the location for walking around the main part of Can Tho. The morning breakfast buffet was geared to Asian tastes, but we found plenty to like there, too. I'd stay here again.

What a wonderful find. Reception staff friendly and speak a smattering of English. They found a safe storage area for my bicycle. The rooms are great with complimentary rice cakes and an orange. All facilities are in the room. The bathroom is great and actually clean (hard to find in VN) with a nice deep bath. The restaurant served excellent food. Loved my stay here.
