"We took our daughters to an all-night Carnaval parade at the Sambadromo in São Paulo, which was an intense, immersive experience and a great lesson in the adaptability of children." - Matthew Kepnes
If you want to have fun, that's the place! It's a magic place on the Carnaval season, you gonna listen the best of local music (Samba). The place is clean, organized and secure for a huge festival, you can try local beer and food as well.

This year they were doing work around, it was quite difficult to arrive. But the experience was nice. I dont recommend “camarote”, it’s a mess. If you can buy the chair or “arquibancada” it will have better view!

That is the real Carnaval!
This must be in everybody’s person bucket list. The parede starts 11pm and go thru all night long - be prepare!
7 samba’s team per night. One better than other!
Find a good spot. Take you best camera with you, prepare yourself to dance and celebrate each team, and I’m sure you will have the best time of your life! Good for kids and amazing for seniors! Enjoy!!!!

Absolutely epic venue for a car race. As a camera operator I love being able to come to the different cultures and seeing these types of venues.

Obviously the only place in São Paulo you can take in the desfiles de Carnival. More or less it's like a strip of road with cement risers on either side. If you're sitting up in the more modestly priced seats bring some kind of cushioning, the parades go on all night and that cement gets real hard after a while!
