Bought a Britannia coat and a crew neck sweater. Both were beautifully cut and made from wonderful materials. They fit just right too. Love them!

My wife and I found the Victoria Anian store while visiting a few years ago. That day we both bought wool coats. After wearing them for the first few weeks we both agreed it was the most practical and comfortable outer wear we have ever worn. It’s like wearing your favorite blanket .. As we spend a lot of time cruising the Salish Sea in all forms of weather we have become huge believers. Sadly, I left my coat somewhere unknown and did without for over a year. The clothes are amazing quality however the store is not intuitively laid out and we found the manager on 2 different occasions to be rude and unhelpful. The first experience there were 2 women working with him, he was condescending and rude at multiple points when instructing them to do things. None of them offered any information as to the store layout, sizing, etc. when he did deign to speak to us it was to tell us they were closing soon. The second occasion there were 2 young men working with him. Again he was condescending and rude in his interactions with his employees however the other 2 working were great. One explained the store layout (which impacted how we were shopping/ what we would buy) and another one went out of his way to find a specific size of one of their styles so I could try it on. When we went to check out the manager swapped out the shirt my boyfriend intended to buy with one not on a hanger and did not sew the top of the bag as we had seen him do for other shoppers. For the price of the clothes I’d expect better customer service from the person that should be setting an example for his employees.

I recently purchased the NW Herringbone winter coat. The quality of the wool and its pattern is beautiful. The cut and fit is top notch, and I look good wearing it!!! Well done Anian!!!

Consistently great, whether ordering online or buying in store. The website has exact measurements if you’re in any doubt. In store the staff are friendly and helpful. At the Victoria store you will even run into their star employee , an incredibly chill and friendly pooch. I now have a Modern Melton, a Painter’s Coat and two twill shirts and I wear them on repeat. My husband has several pieces as well.

So many folks at work rave about this store, so I had to check it out. Popped down to the Victoria store on January 22 to touch and feel and try on the various options. If you are an online shopper like me, this is a must do before you buy. The staff at the store were attentive, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their product. I fell in love with the feel and fit of the buffalo plaid. So when I got home, I ordered one online. Pleasant surprise, not shipping charges. Love my new "jacket". I love the quality and the beautiful fit, but more importantly, I love that I am supporting a local company that is passionate about the environment and sustainability. I will be back!
