Anilana Pasikuda

I stayed at Anilana with a friend for 1 night. Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. We arrived on an early morning sleeper train from Colombo to Batticaloa and were able to check in smoothly. After receiving a welcome drink, we were shown to our room and given a sheet showing the locations of the hotel's facilities. Our room itself was less than 30 seconds walking distance from the sea. The room was large and exceptionally clean with a good selection of amenities. The dining options at Anilana were superb. Although the hotel wasn’t operating a buffet during our stay, they were offering a 3 course menu at meal times. Everything we ate was excellent. The staff here were also very warm, friendly and attentive. All the facilities (pool, gym etc) are maintained fantastically and the private beach is a thing of beauty. We also went snorkeling after asking for recommendations from the hotel staff. We were able to see the local coral and fish - it was an amazing experience. This is a must stay hotel when you come to see the east coast!

A luxurious hidden gem situated in Pasikuda. Breathtaking views of the blue ocean with the sun rise in the horizon. We were greeted with a warm welcome with a free upgrade to the suite room. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious and beautiful. The hotel itself is well maintained. They offered us set menu which offers a good variety. The foods are absolutely delicious and presented creatively. The hotel staff was very hospitable who gave their 100% to adhere our needs. Special thanks to Shemali Seneviratne, Farhan, the chef and all the hotel staff for taking care of us. Anilana Pasikuda is truly a touch of paradise.

The rooms are clean and spacious, The hotel beds and pillows are so comfortable, ideal to relax for exhausted travellers. The food was absolutely delicious, tastes of everything was outstanding. The staff was very hospitable. Have access to beach and this is a perfect spot to watch the sun rise.

Really nice room with ocean view. A super pool. Staff is really helpfull and friendly. They arranged a romantic surprise dinner by the pool. When I was feeling a little sick the chef made me a herbal drink that made me feel much better. The chef also made us lunch packets before we headed out on a trip. 10/10 <3

I travelled with my husband along with another couple and we were celebrating our anniversaries during our stay. The staff at the hotel accommodated this special occasion very well by upgrading us to the Beach Chalets along with beautiful deco on our beds and a special cake for us. We were absolutely thrilled when we were greeted with all these wonderful gestures on arrival. As our stay progressed, we continued to have an amazing time especially because the property was maintained well even with the closure due to the pandemic and the staff were extremely friendly and kind to us and also adhered to all our needs literally during sun or rain. The set menu offered on all 3 days had good variety and was tasty and fresh which was delightful! We were treated with extremely brilliant service and hospitality and the trip was a memorable experience because of the wonder of this property and staff and we hope to visit again and the other respective property in Nilaveli as well. The name Anilana resonates luxury and stellar hospitality!

We stayed in beach front Villas at Anilana. The view from the villa was amazing. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The beach is OK and you can have a sea bath safely. But we didn’t see any life saver. So take care yourself. The pool is OK but not in according to the standards. However, the buffet was with very basic meals. Actually, I would rather say even without basic stuffs. Also, the staff didn’t follow the Covid-19’s safety requirements. We have noticed they are busy in the kitchen even without wearing a mask. During our stay there were a local crew playing sounds, disturbing all other guests at the pool. They have played music during the course of the day, but hotel management didn’t bother to stop them. It turned our holiday to a worst one. Apart from that all others were in good standards.

We are very frequent visitors to Pasikuda and had stayed at almost all the hotels in the Pasikuda . This was the first time at ANILANA, though. With all our previous experience the best hotel.||At the hotel front manager, food manager and all staff were good and friendly manner and treated excellent. ||The food was tasty and portion were huge even set menu.||(Room service)||We booked ocean chalet. THAT was specious and clean. Environment also clean. ||Worth for money. ||They arranged special cake for our anniversary. ||All experience were excellent and Memorable .||We will come back soon.

I've stayed multiple times as this hotel and have enjoyed every single stay without any issues. Staff is super courteous and takes good care of their guests. If the hotel is crowded and there's no buffet, their a la carte menu is also fantastic. I will always recommend this place to friends and family.
