Unfortunately, I've had issues on two occasions when taking my standard poodle for grooming. The service seems expensive considering the quality provided. During the first visit, my dog had many knots, and the second time, the cleaning was not done properly. Moreover, I found it disrespectful that the owner or whoever was in charge yelled at me, said unpleasant things, and even threw the phone. I request an improvement in service quality and more respectful treatment.

I recently switched groomers to Animal Crackers for my Heeler mix and she's so much happier. I was taking Biscuit to a groomers right down the street from my house but the convenience didn't outweigh the better experiences I've had at Animal Crackers. They are reasonably priced, always seem to remember my dog (which the previous people never did) and you can tell they genuinely like what they do and have a good rapport with their clients and community. Biscuit is always happy to go get a bath!

First time taking my dog for a groom here. As you can see my little girls paws are extremely irritated. All four paws are pink. This has never happened to her. Hopefully they do not get infected.

The owner is super attentive to all of my requests. He will also let me return anything my dogs don't like.

These guys are great. I was referred to them by my vet and they're so good with our dog. The staff and the owner go out of their way to ensure a really high level of customer service is received.

I have been coming to Animal Crackers for 3 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else! They treat my miniature poodle with such great care and affection and as a client with a handicap they couldn't be more understanding and helpful with my condition. JJ and his staff are like family to me; knowledgeable, helpful and kind. My favorite is when I get to pick up Oliver and he is looking his very best!

I've had issues getting my dogs nails clipped at lots of places. They handled it quick and efficiently. More importantly without traumatizing her.

This grooming service is highly concerning as multiple dogs, including mine, have developed paw infections post-grooming. The apparent lack of cleanliness and attention to detail is alarming. I've been really happy with my experiences at Animal Crackers. I have a 13-year-old toy poodle named Sgt. Pepper who has had dozens of grooms over his lifetime. Animal Crackers knows what they're doing! Poodles require certain grooming standards because their hair is different than typical dog fur. It can be hard to find someone who gets it right. I like how transparent Animal Crackers is about cost/pricing, breaking down options based on breed and size. I also really love their natural dog food selection, and so does my pup! We come every 6-8 weeks and I have been happy with the results every time. I definitely recommend Animal Crackers!

My Bernese Mountain Dog, Darcy, recently moved from NY to Miami, and needed a grooming very badly! She is nervous dog by nature, so I was hoping that her first grooming experience in Miami would be okay. At Animal Crackers, they treated Darcy with so much kindness! She was happy and calm when I came to pick her up, and she looked and smelled wonderful!!! I HIGHLY recommend Animal Crackers for dog grooming! Darcy had an outstanding experience! WOWOW. 10/10 recommend! I am so thankful for a place that FINALLY LISTENS TO THE OWNER! JJ made my cockapoo puppy look amazing and NOT like a poodle (as a problem I been facing at other places). JJ was very patient with my puppy since this was his first grooming! **disclaimer on the picture: This was about 1 hour after rough playing so he the cut looks a little messy (it isn't) but JJ rocked it and knows what he is doing!

The worst! I take my dog there for a hair cut and shower and when I come back to pick up OMG to totally a different dog! Bad bad cut and also blood on the ears and my dog keep likings every part she get cut. Unbelievable bad job. I you love your dog skip this place. This people are not animal lovers they do this just money!

Staff appears to be very knowledgeable. The lady working the register is very sweet. The owner is a little rude at times but that's because he's normally running around handling business. Probably won't go back here because they're a little too rough on the dogs.

I have been brining my dog Brooklyn to Animal Crackers for about 4 years now, and JJ has been so patient with me and all of my requests and repeating myself. We have had really open communication and he is straight forward and honest while looking out for Brooklyn. The head groomer was super helpful, and after showing her a photo of Brooklyn from years ago she did exactly that. My cocker mix has a silky soft coat without being shaved and still cool and clean for the summer. I would recommend them all day.

Brought my 5 month chocolate golden doodle for his first haircut and they did an AMAZING job! I asked for the teddy cut and they nailed it!!! My Bruno looks so handsome. They still left him fluffy but managed to trim him and make him look clean. Will definitely be coming back here to groom Bruno

I just picked up my baby and I loved the groom service and the workers! It was my first time coming and they were very helpful and explained how to avoid matting and helped me on choosing the right puppy cut for him. I will be bringing him here now as I do trust them with my pup.

I took my little mini golden doodle to get groomed at Animal Crackers for the first time today, when I got there I expressed to them the terrible experience I had where I took her to get groomed last, they assured me she would be in great hands. Not only does she look fabulous but they removed all of her knots and left her looking like a true princess, she came out of there happy and playful, I know they treated her well along with all the other doggies. Excellent service in every level. We found out about animal crackers through a friend, they said they had great prices and a lot of organic items. When we moved to downtown Miami we visited Animal Crakers and it was true they gave amazing service, they greater us and our puppy and gave him a treat. We asked about different treats for training and they told us about Primal Treats - they are organic and they come in small pebbles so they last for a few months. My puppy goes crazy over them he loves every single bite and changed a lot after we started giving them to him. He knows to be a good boy or he won't get any. He barks less lol and never pees or poos inside. They are so good for training and everyday use. Now we buy shampoo its also organic and all medicine from here. They also do grooming and they are amazing at it. Thank you so much great service and great quality items.

This place impresses me every time I go - enough to leave a yelp review. I never leave reviews but I certainly read them and if you are looking for an opinion on this place, look no further. Take your dog here. JJ the owner is transparent with everything and actually cares about the dogs. The team does an unbelievable job grooming, too. My dog always comes out absolutely perfect and so happy. I brought him in today with mats all over his body and he came out stunning. Trust me, this place is the only place. Wanted to take my Frenchie here. This place used to be amazing a few years back. Clearly they don't care anymore. Just moved back to Miami and tried to make an appointment. They rushed me off the phone and ended up hanging up on me. I called back to give them the benefit of the doubt and he loudly sighed at me and asked what I wanted. How can I trust this dude with my dog? No way! Please be careful who you trust with your animals! 0 stars.

The owner is great. The groomer's always do a fantastic job and when it time for teeth cleaning someone comes once a month and your pet doesn't have to go under or to an expensive vet. Our vet comments on how great his teeth are for an 11 year old.

Terrible experience!!! Do NOT take your pet here!!! There was no attention to details when trimming my dogs hair; they left long hairs in some areas and cut the skin in several other. My dog was physically sick after leaving this place. Imagine the treatment. It was easy to see that they don't have experienced groomers that understand a breeds styling needs. They just have unprofessional cheap hires that treat they job like a factory line. They refused to take ownership for the mistakes and worsen the experience with incredibly rude customer service. Never again will I take my dog there. They don't have respect for the animals or paying customers.

My friend recommended Animal Crackers to get my puppy groomed. I have since taken my puppy there 3 times. Charlie always comings out soft and clean, perfectly groomed paws, and smells amazing. They are very friendly and make it easy to make an appointment. I can just drop him off and they give me a call a few hours later to pick him up. Animal Crackers is a small family owned shop, where they sell and aray of organic dogs foods, treats, toys, and even a blueberry dog cologne. I would definitely recommend! Especially if you want to support small local businesses!

i can't believe what they did to my dog yes! my dog need it a full hair cut but not like that, no love what's so ever they just didn't do any hair cut, they cut it allll!!! and horrible even they cut my poor dog,i just cant believe what they did there some pictures please dont go here they just dont care about your dog i know of a fact my dog suffer in their hands cuts every where!!!

Love Animal Crackers, they do a great job grooming our two cats. And it's hard to find a good cat groomer! And I very much appreciate how cautious they are about using masks, making sure their customers wear masks, and keeping appropriate distance.

We have been going to Animal Crackers in Downtown Miami for years for pet food, grooming and pet accessories! About 7 years ago, Owner JJ recommended an organic diet for our Yorkie who was suffering from dental issues and stomach problems. Now a senior dog, she just celebrated a very healthy 18th birthday thanks in huge part to her diet! Our vet cannot believe how vibrant and full of energy she is at such an advanced age! He recommends the organic diet offerings at Animal Crackers to all of his patients. We religiously stop by the store to buy a dozen frozen food containers every few weeks, even after we moved from Brickell to Coral Gables a few years ago. However, due to self-quarantining as a result of COVID-19, my family could not leave the house and we were running out of food for our Yorkie!! And changing her Fountain of Youth diet was NOT an option! So for the first time ever, we decided to order from the Animal Crackers website! We made the ONLINE order after-hours and received a message the order would arrive the following day. We navigated the website, selected the items, paid and got confirmation in mere minutes! It was much more convenient than driving over to the store! But could such a large order really arrive so soon after ordering?! Could it be that easy?! The answer turned out to be a resounding YES! A gentleman delivered a box with the entire order right to our door the following day before lunchtime! Although we will surely stop into the store as often as possible, it's good to know that Animal Crackers has such a dependable delivery system in place for when we are in a pinch and aren't able to make it to the store. Their smooth online ordering system is really a game-changer and an incredible added bonus for pet owners who may not live in the urban core where the store is located! If you haven't visited the store or ordered from their online inventory, I encourage you to give it a try! Your furry friend will thank you.

This place is so convenient for those who live downtown. I get all my pet supplies without having to leave the block! The staff is great and the grooming is done well. My dog always smells delightful after I pick him up, and you can tell they take their time with each pet. 10/10 recommend taking your pups to animal crackers!

I really liked how quick and friendly animal crackers was. They took my puppy same time and were flexible on pickup-knowing that I was doing errands. They gave my puppy his first hair trim, nail cut, and ear cleaning. Was a great process and he smelled great afterwards. Will be back.

I have been ordering Doggo food and treats from Animal Crackers for about a year now. I enjoy the pleasant and welcoming environment provided by the employees. If I have a question or concern, they are quick to answer and provide recommendations. They have the best selection of dog food and treats(Orijen, Acana etc). The frequent doggies sniffing around the store and being groomed is an added bonus. TIP: call them in the early morning and give them your address. If you're within their delivery route area...you can do same day delivery if you call before a certain time! My favorite thing about this establishment is the great customer service...as well as the 'conveniency' factor they provide. I call in the AM to place my order, and I receive it in the afternoon. Same day! I don't have to dread Miami traffic after work OR the pain of finding a parking spot(and paying for it!) in Downtown Miami. I highly recommend this spot for all your best friends needs and wants.

I accidentally found this place today while my husband and I were walking our dog. We left our dog there to get a grooming service while we were having lunch! We loved the service! Super fast and very efficient! Our dog looked great and super clean! We will def come back!! We loved it!! BTW, the place is suuuuper clean, organized and the staff is very friendly!

So glad I found this place! My dog is typically terrified of the groomers due to a horrible experience 6 years ago at another groomer. I always make sure to tell new groomers that he gets very nervous and will nip groomers so I want to make sure they are patient and will take their time. JJ made me feel comfortable and told me not to worry, they have a lot of experience with "challenging" dogs. And he was right. Grooming took 3 hours and Yoshi came out looking great! Thank you JJ and staff!

I found Animal Crackers with a referral from a friend and could not be happier with the service that they provide. In addition to our puppy receiving a great (first) cut and grooming, JJ, the owner, was incredible nice over the phone, and their space is great. The facility has a yard for the dogs to run around and allows for flexibility with drop-off/pick-up. I would absolutely recommend AC to any dog owners.

I brought my 4 1/2 month old cavapoo puppy for his first haircut and grooming and they did an excellent job! I could tell from the moment we checked in that they knew what they were doing and that Bo was in good hands. I dropped him off around 11 and was initially given a wait time of "no more than 2 hours" but he wasn't done until around 4. Since it was his first time at the groomers and he's a really fluffy dog, I expected the longer wait and have no complaints about that. I'll definitely be bringing him here for regular grooming! +1 When I picked him up, he looked great and I could tell he was happy and not terrified from the experience. Plus, he was exhausted and slept the afternoon away!
