ANITA GELATO

Anita Gelato is one of the best in Sydney. The sweetness is just right. Nailing the amount of sugar to give just right dose of sweetness yet allowing the natural flavours to come through in itself is an art. I had Matcha and Pistachio and they were both great. The texture is a bit harder than some other gelato places, but it means it melts slower so it works for me. I love the retro theme and color choices and the tile work!

The gelato is always pretty good at Anita’s. The Manly store always has a queue out the door on weekends but it moves fairly quickly. Try the lemon with mint - so lovely and refreshing. My fave is also the pistacchio. Lots of flavours to choose from. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Anita Gelato is definitely a must-try when visiting Manly! I I’ve been here twice and tried both the Caramel and the Crème Brûlée Pistachio Crumble. Both were delicious, but the Crème Brûlée Pistachio Crumble really stood out with its creamy texture and crunchy bits. If you’re not sure what to choose, I’d highly recommend starting with that flavor. The staff were also very friendly and patient, happily offering tastings before I decided. Great experience overall!

I had the pistachio and matcha ice creams. Loved the matcha, great matcha taste with the bitter edge. The pistachio was a bit sweet for my taste and I tried the choc, pistachio which was also too sweet. Will try the other flavours.

Absolutely obsessed with Anita Gelato! Their Chocolate Almonds Caramel is hands down one of the best gelato flavours I’ve ever had—rich, nutty, and perfectly sweet. I’m honestly in love with it! Also tried the Watermelon Mint (super refreshing and light) and the Caramel Cookies Cheesecake (creamy, indulgent, and just the right amount of crunch). Also tried their green berry and berry blash and it is just amazing.! You can really taste the quality in every scoop. Anita is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a sweet treat. Highly recommend!

I came here on a rainy day. There wasn’t a line or anyone around. The staff was patient to let us try some flavors as it’s our first visit. We had mango sorbet and passionfruit sorbet. They were refreshing and didn’t have artificial taste. I had Affogato with a scoop of tiramisu and a scoop of coffee. It was so good!

On a sunny Sunday, I finally tried Anita Gelato in Manly, a brand that began in Tel Aviv in 2002 and has since gained global popularity. I opted for **stracciatella**, while my family chose **Hazelnut Mousse & Crunchy Chocolate** and **Choc Mint**. My pick was creamy but a bit plain, whereas theirs were rich and flavorful. The inviting decor, lively ambience, and efficient service made the experience enjoyable, and I’m keen to return for bolder flavors. Based on my visit, I’d give Anita Gelato 4 stars, worth lining up for another taste!

One of the best gelatos I’ve had in Australia. Plenty of gluten free options. The service was amazing - the girl was super friendly and kind. There were so many almonds in the gelato - it was phenomenal! My friend agreed that the gelato here was one of the best. Highly HIGHLY recommend!
