ANITA GELATO

Such a lovely gelato spot in Manly. The place is super cute and has a really nice atmosphere. I tried the Dubai Chocolate Cup and the Snowberry Cup and both were absolutely delicious — the flavours are unique and everything tasted very fresh. They also have a great variety of gelato with lots of toppings and good coffee. Definitely worth visiting if you’re around Manly.

If you’re heading to Manly Beach, you’ll find that the queue outside Anita Gelato is basically a local landmark—if there’s no line, check your watch, because the world might have ended. It’s the ultimate destination for "cold happiness," and the crowd standing patiently on the pavement is living proof that some things are actually worth the hype. The real show-stopper is the "live" gelato parlour setup; watching the magic happen behind the glass is like being a kid in a very expensive, very delicious laboratory. I opted for the Tiramisu, and it was outstandingly delicious—the kind of flavor that makes you want to ignore your surroundings and have a private moment with your waffle cone. It’s creamy, authentic, and worth every minute of the wait. Just a tip: eat it fast, because the Manly sea breeze waits for no scoop!

I am usually not an ice cream / gelato person (normally I eat half my icecream and pass it to my partner) but I absolutely loved (and finished!) my gelato from Anita’s. It was the right amount of creaminess/ sweetness (not too sweet like other brands) and not too runny. They had some great flavours on display and are great at allowing you to try. I sampled two but ended up choosing the hazelnut mousse with chocolate crunch and honestly it was THE BEST. Basically a Ferrero Roche. Wa surprisingly not that busy when we went even though it was a super hot day so we were able to order quickly and grab a table with no issues I would highly recommend a visit.

A must-visit on The Corso! The Cookieman and Pistachio flavors are incredible, but the real game-changer is the Nougat wafer they tuck into the top. It adds the perfect honeyed crunch to the silky gelato. The shop itself is stunning with its brass and sage-green boutique vibe—super busy, but the line moves fast and the staff are legends. Don't leave Manly without grabbing a scoop here!

Okay so that’s the best gelato I’ve ever had. Fruit flavors are wildly punchy, tastes like blended fresh fruit! And the chocolate flavors are so insanely rich. Anything covered in a sauce/nut butter is very creamy. Worth the wait!!

Seemed to be a very popular place with a line out the door. And I see why! I got the chocolate mousse and tiramisu has some alcohol in it, which is nice! Would recommend!!

I tried the Greenberry with Dubai chocolate, which has heaps of kataifi. So nutty and crunchy, such a great texture! The Snowberry was also lovely, with chocolate, cream, and strawberries perfectly balanced. They also have frozen yoghurt with unlimited toppings, which is a nice bonus. The staff were very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A great spot for quality Dubai chocolate, gelato and frozen yoghurt. I’d definitely come back again.

Not normally one for ice cream reviews, but truth be known, I’m a bit of a pushover for Dulce de Leche, and have sampled all over the world And Europe. They had a familiar coloured batch labeled ’Ask the staff’ which they confirmed was my favourite and a new flavour for them. Well they nailed it! 10/10 and what a pleasant place with reasonable price for a ‘loaded’ top heavy tub…❤️
